La Luna

Went here for a Saturday brunch. Their drinks are phenomenal. I had a mango margarita. The service was good as the place was not too busy on this particular Saturday. The place itself is nice with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. As far as the food goes, we ordered the avocado scramble and the Luna chilaquiles from their brunch menu. Unfortunately the eggs on the chilaquiles were underdone so we didn't end up finishing those even though they tasted great. The avocado scramble is delicious! I will be returning for another brunch soon!

If your ever in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, La Luna is the place to hit for slamming tacos and modern Mexican inspired food and cocktails. I really am mad at myself for not getting any photos, the presentation of the plates were phenomenal. La Luna is situated in a prime location on 18th and Racine, where their interior is reminiscent of the spirit of the community, with its vibrant exposed brick, walls full of greenery and a open kitchen. I always love a restaurant with an open kitchen. They also have a garage door that opens up so you can take in the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. Their cocktail list is impressive from classic and signature cocktails, to refreshing mocktails for our non alcoholic connoisseurs. Their Paloma's and margaritas are fire. You can get either with tequila or mezcal. Next time I come, I definitely want to try the tequila flight. We kept things simple, we started with their guacamole for the table to share. This is the first time I ever had guacamole with cotija cheese and pomegranates. The pomegranates were a nice touch, guacamole was really delicious. For dinner we had, the enchiladas Verdes, Torta Ahogada, and fish and steak tacos. The tacos are sold solo. And for dessert we did the coconut tres leches cake, man o man. You talk about something so decadent and moist. I can go on and on about this place. You just have to make it your justice to dine here just once. Reservations are recommended because of how small the place is, but you won't be disappointed. It's a cute date night spot or dinner with your good good girlfriends. Next time I'm in Chicago, I will definitely return

Amazing service, drinks, food, ambiance, & love this place - will definitely be back!First time in Pilsen in several years, checked Chicago Eater, found La Luna & omg were we impressed!Michelle was friendly, fun, chill, attentive, had recommendations & didn't just read from a script. She was awesome! Will def come back to see her ASAP. Drinks were fresh, creative, & all around everything you could ask for at a Latin restaurant. Food was perfect temperature, amazing flavor, & quickly delivered. AMBIANCE! Omg the music was so impressive, original, & the sound system was top notch! I had an incredible experience at La Luna! The quesabirria was nothing short of amazing--tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The tacos were equally impressive and bursting with flavor. The salsa flight was a fantastic starter, offering a variety of fresh, vibrant salsas that paired beautifully with the entire meal. The elote was a delightful addition, with its rich, creamy texture and perfect seasoning. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for any preference.Despite being busy, the food came out promptly, showcasing the efficiency and dedication of the staff.

A fun Taco Tuesday spot!I have been here multiple times for taco Tuesday and their tacos are all $3 from 4-6 (also on Fridays from 3-6) Great service and a great ambiance. I would recommend their fish tacos.

This place was rocking! Staff were friendly, quick even though we didn't have a reservation. My friend and I each ordered a cocktail. Delicious & strong. We had elote, tacos, and tres Leche for desserts. We will be back!

This time around we came just for the happy hour! This place offers a pretty good happy hour deals and it is right on a busy corner which helps if you wanna check out any other local Pilsen bars! The drinks are great and so is the food, it's a perfect spot to get your night started or if you're just in the hunt for a good bite and drink this is it! The staff is quick and polite and the place is small but they have a cute outdoor patio!

Just happens to stumble upon La Luna on a Wednesday when they do happy hour all day. We had clase azul shots for $10 and margaritas flights for $15! It was a blast and the food was delish

Lovvvvveed the Happy Hour here! $3 tacos, $5 cocktails and shots! You cannot beat the happy hour specials here! The tacos were fresh and juicy! That steak is tender! We really enjoyed this quick, affordable outing! The space is fun! It's a little tight but it works; we were in and out and would absolutely return! Service was quick and efficient, the server showed us a card to scan for the menus; everything ran smoothly.

Great food and excellent atmosphere. Was advised that they have a 90 minute limit to each table, which we understood and were ok with. Was not ok with waiter interrupting us 3 times during our meal to tell us how much time we had left. We left after 60 minutes as we really didn't feel like we were welcome.
