Stopped in for a quick beef taco and to my surprise it was good. Primarily because they list outside its a torta and mariscos shop. But as i do when i try a new shop i went to order a beef taco. The taco had a crispy but not greasy shell top with fresh green lettuce and tomatoes along with Mexican white crumbled cheese. The beef was hot and juicy and fairly proportioned for the price; roughly 4 dollars each. That hot sauce was tasty, spicy but not overly I highly recommend you go in and try it.

Service was absolutely trash. The lady got an attitude with me because I wanted video tacos on flower and basically dismissed me out of the restaurant. It's a total shame how people get treated at restaurants when they're trying to spend their money. This place typically has good food but Service , the lady with all the makeup on she's whack.

La Loma Bonita is a small mom and pop shop that serves delicious Mexican food. I ordered the quesabirria tacos which comes with a side of consome (soup).The birria was delicious and flavorful and the tacos were very fillling.The restaurant is small but it has several tables to sit and enjoy your food or you can take it to go. I love small mom and pop restaurants like La Loma Bonita because the ambiance is very much like going to a family member's house for some food. I will definitely have to come back and try something else off of their menu.

I have been coming here for years and the food and service are both excellent. Rolled tacos, burritos, made from scratch soups, nachos, carne asada fries, etc. Great red and green sauce also. I love that it's a small mom and pop operation with no smoke and mirrors, just quality and consistency!

I am thankful for the vegetarian options here. My favorite is the Tofu Fajitas plate. It comes with rice/beans/tortillas and small salad, and is so flavorful. Since my boys like their Carne Asada meals, this is a place we can happily agree on for getting dinner. One of these days I'll get a photo before I gobble it down!

This place strives to serve freshly prepared food. There's something different and better about this taco shop. So happy I live nearby. We ordered three taquitos (rolled tacos) which had yummy guacamole. Also had the California burrito and two carne asada tacos. I'd still add lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes to the tacos. Okay, when I saw 4.2 stars and 4.4 stars, I knew something wasn't right. This must be corrected. One thing - I only post when it MATTERS to me. 1. Called, asked if carne asada fries were good for 2 or 1 person. Lady said she can't confirm because maybe a big guy would eat more than a boy. (Weirdest answer I've ever received)2. Beans come with their Asada Fries. I had them put it on side. Tried it when I got home. They use a lot of oil. (Let's leave it at that)3. For a $15 carne asada fries, and with how other taco shops charge and prepare food, I KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT! 3a. This bs was small. For $15, absolutely not worth it. 3b. The carne asada had a LOT OF FAT. Other taco shops are not this bad. 3c. They skimped me on the asada amount... it was super low. It was probably one of the lowest amounts I've ever seen on carne asada fries (and I've been ALL OVER San Diego for carne asada fries! I eat this food ALMOST EVERY DAY)I feel VERY strong about my opinion. Btw, this upsets me not only because I just moved near them, (and I was happy to have a "reputable" taco shop near me) bur because I really follow the reviews and I was terribly mislead.
