Server was nice. Started with a salad, asked for dressing on the side, drenched the salad. He did switch it without me asking. Overall dressing did not have much taste. Ordered some appetizers. Sausage and peppers were probably the best of what we got. Calamari was chewy, probably frozen, and bland. Someone ordered the chicken parm. Very dry and I ordered the steak - very dry. Was disappointed at the quality if food and the lack of taste. Especially for what it cost us. Best part was the service though.

Food Was great. I had the Pappardlle bolognese, garlic bread, and for dessert Pannacotta. My only complaint would be too young ladies came in to ask to use the restroom and they were politely told to go elsewhere I get it. But as I walked back to the hotel, thinking what if I had to use the restroom when I went into one of these places is that what they would do to me? I don't mind spending my money for good food, but as I get older more things are important. Service was good , not overly friendly, but good I will not be back.

No frills good Italian food and quick service. Pricing is fair but bread is extra which is a bit rare for an Italian restaraunt. The pasta was Al dente and the shrimp was cooked really well. The arrabiata was light and not too spicy. If you want good Italian without a over-the-top Scottsdale boujeeness, this is perfect! Reminded me of home (east coast Italian restaraunts).

Came by for a pick-up order. It was risotto night for us! We ordered theRisotto porcini: classic and what you'd expect. This was our favorite! Great texture and mushroom flavor.Seared scallop carbonara risotto: probably because it was pick up, but by the time we got home the scallops were a bit tough and tasted overcooked. There was a strong balsamic vinegar taste that overpowered the dish, wasn't very carbonara-like.Osso buco: more like a risotto stew - we enjoyed this one but wish the meat was softer, the whole thing fell off the bone but meat itself was tough in some parts.Won't return but glad we tried it.

The food here. The pasta. The pesto. I was amazed. I'm not going to lie, I assumed their pasta would be decent but nothing too special or over the top. I consider myself a pesto connoisseur and let me just say their pesto sauce was hands down some of the best pesto i've tried. When I order pesto dishes, I usually have to doctor them up but here, the flavors were sitting so well with me. The basil was fresh the seasonings were perfect and the chicken was perfect. We started with the bruschetta and it was good. We then got fettuccini and the pesto pasta dishes. The fettuccini was unique, the sauce tasted homemade with a twist but I couldn't put my finger on the nodes I was tasting. The pesto was amazing. Great pasta dishes, lovely service and a full bar. The ambiance was very dull but has a lot of potential to be cute. The walls are pretty blank and there was minimal decor. I would love to see this place with a little more style. I will be back for more pasta though! Yum.

Visiting the Phoenix and driving around Scottsdale looking for a place to eat, when me and my party saw "Italian" and literally pulled up in front of the establishment. There were several parties in the restaurant and judging from their laughs and conversations, each party was enjoying themselves here. I think we picked a good spot. Our party of five were seated right away without a problem. The staff was so friendly and helpful as they told us about their specials. All of them sounded amazing, but I couldn't help to want some of their main entrees! With appetizers we ordered Fried Calamari and 2 orders of garlic bread basket (it was very good). For the entrees, our party ordered:* Chicken Parmesan* Ravioli Quattro Formaggi* Risotto Porcini* Seared Scallop Risotto* Filet MignonRisotto was excellent! One of the best I've had. The filet cooked to perfection - nice and juicy, simple and yet flavorful. Ravioli was filling and Chicken Parmesan doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere is very relaxed great for large parties and yet can still be intimate for a small group.I'm glad we stumbled across this place, it will definitely be one of the saved locations I will visit when I am in town again. Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!

We came to Scottsdale for the Scottsdazzle Stroll and decided to have dinner before that began with friends of ours. They chose this restaurant. I just had an appetizer, which was very good & simple. My husband ordered the pappadelle pasta with a meat sauce, which he said he enjoyed and would come back for this dish! One friend had the scallops risotto, which looked great & she said she enjoyed it. Why did I give this place 3 stars? My other friend ordered chicken parmigiana. It was served with mashed potatoes & the mozzarella on the chicken looked like it was 2 slices of white American cheese melted on there. He couldn't eat much of his plate. We are use to pasta with chicken parm. The waiter never asked what he wanted for a side & he was under the impression it would come with pasta. It simply was not that good. Staff was friendly and it was nice enough to sit outside on their patio. In addition, we did order garlic bread (apologies for no picture), but it wasn't good. I asked the waiter for regular bread and he told me, they don't have any. lol.

Two people went for breakfast. It might be a great dinner place, but I've never been there for dinner. The breakfast was mediocre. My omelet was very bland, and the other egg dish with potatoes was mediocre at best. Cappuccino was 5 bucks and not great. No bread or toast was served with the eggs, which I found to be odd. Not sure if that is normal in Scottsdale, but it's not normal in places I usually frequent for breakfast. The wait staff were pleasant. No complaints there. Cost, including tip was about $50 for two people. That's a lot, for a little.
