Very friendly, they greet you with a smile. The food is outstanding. They have a little salsa bar which I love. Have different heat levels, which I like a little heat. This place is a hidden gem that you will love and won't leave disappointed.

If i could give this place a zero star I would!! It is so overpriced! We had to switch tables 2 times because of how unstable the tables were!! I ordered 4 tacos de asada and the meat was really burnt and the tortillas was soggy and the tacos are full pf cilantro and onion. Honestly don't go here and save you money! We ended up paying 58.80 for 10 tacos and a torta de asada!! Worse place i have ever ate at.. so pissed!

Tasty food, friendly staff, clean place. They have quesadillas de flor de calabaza and huitlacoche! However, they were mostly cheese and a bit expensive. Service was very slow even though it was empty at Friday dinner.

Stopped by for Taco Tuesday. Tacos were amazing. Service was ok but the food made up for it. Totally going back to try the rest of the menu. Hope it's as good as the tacos were.

The food is good. The service is AWFUL, and therefore we will never go back to this place again. We were given menus and told to seat ourselves. We sat at a booth with a very wobbly table and the AC blowing directly on the table, so we moved to another one, which was not that much better, but at least not directly in the wind tunnel. The booths / tables / floors were filthy. No salt in the salt shakers on our table or the tables nearby. The salsa bar had a few slices of sad, old red onions and the rest of the containers for the salsa were empty. After about 10 minutes a young man took our order. We never received our drinks, had to ask for them. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Asked if guac came with my order and he said - oh, you want a side of guac? I said yes, if it doesn't come with it. Guess what. It came with guac and I had to pay for the side that I didn't need. He seemed more concerned about his texts than serving the customers. His phone was hooked to the speaker, so every time he got a text the speaker would ding. It dinged a LOT. We got a portion of our food, and then he disappeared into the kitchen, never to be seen again. We had to go back there and ask to get the rest to go. Had to go up to find him again to pay, never saw the bill, and the amount I paid was a little questionable, but I just wanted to get out of there. Nope, not going back.

Excellent food made from scratch. Portions just right. Great service. You can really tell the difference between an independently owned restaurant like this one, and a chain outfit!

We took a chance on this place because we were super hungry and it was the nearest Mexican food. The restaurant itself needs some TLC, at least a good scrubbing and some fresh paint and tile repairs. However, the young man who is both the server and the cashier, Danny, is pretty awesome-very attentive, helpful, and kind. I'm a pescatarian and there is not much on the menu for me. When I told him that, he was very good about making suggestions. One thing he suggested was the pumpkin flower. I was a little nervous about that as I'd never heard of anything like that and I was hungry, so I ordered cheese enchiladas. While waiting, we enjoyed snacking on tortilla chips made from scratch and some kind of pasta and bean soup. There was only one cook and it was kind of a long wait, but the food did not disappoint. I was surprised when Danny also brought a sample of pumpkin flower so I could try it. To my surprise, pumpkin flower is delicious! Aside from the kind of shabby building and long wait, we were pretty impressed and will be back!
