Hidden La Jolla coffee gem - if you need a spot to study that's outdoors (and still has chargers and fast wifi), (artificial) water views, and a solid coffee/breakfast menu with acai bowls, sandwiches, and pastries, this is the spot! It's in the middle of a business complex, close to off-campus apartments near UCSD (somewhat walkable distance from Regents and Eastgate Mall apartments), but also offers free parking.The coffee shop is closed on weekends, but you can still study there too! Just keep in mind the restrooms are located only within the offices, so there's no public restroom usage then, which can limit how long you might stay on weekends (unless you work in the complex and have restroom access still).

Beautiful outdoor space in a quiet/peaceful area (lots of corporate offices here). We parked on the street to avoid paying for parking. There were outlets along some of the seats. The tables were big enough for 4 people to study or eat comfortably. However, there was not a lot of seating. If this place was more popular I think finding a seat would be more difficult.

Cargo Cafe is such an amazing cafe to study and chill at. Nice lowkey vibes with an artificial oasis/lake in the middle for you to gaze upon while you sip your drinks. There are plenty of outlets and seating for you to study at - personally, this is now my favorite outdoor study space.I got a banana pineapple smoothie here which had natural fruits and was filled to the brim of the cup. However, it was pretty pricey around $8. Most of the menu is also pretty pricey for what the drinks are, but paying for the setting is worth it all.I definitely recommend this place if you like to study outdoors!

I was looking for a place to grab a smoothie bowl/something light to eat for lunch when I came across this super cool hidden gym in the UTC business park area. The tranquility and isolation of this place is just what one needs when we work in a business park/office area. The people that work here are very friendly. They offer many coffee/tea options, acai bowls, smoothies, to go sandwiches/snacks and juices. I will be frequenting them a lot now that I know they are just about a 10 min walk from my work.

This coffee shop is a total hidden gem. Coffee is decent they have some healthy food and snack options. What makes it special is the view!! It's like an oasis in the middle of all the business and office buildings. Came here to work for a few hours and WiFi is great too. Staff is casually friendly. There's extra seating across the water as well.

Cargo Café is a literal oasis in La Jolla. The secluded location is almost like a private getaway from the hustle and bustle of the seemingly never-ending construction. Perched on the edge of a fountain, this little café serves up great espresso drinks and has other offerings for a quick bite! I had an almond milk latte, which was pretty good. But, I look forward to sitting in the sun and studying in the area, which has plenty of open-air seating for the COVID conscious. It's a perfectly serene location, albeit somewhat difficult to find, but overall a hidden gem in the UTC area!

Love having a local coffee shop close to my office building. Great customer service and great coffee!

Located in the office park, but open to the public. Such an amazing cup of coffee, and even better service! Thank you for fueling our work from home days.

This place is so cool! Seating is lovely and location is in the middle of an office complex next to a lake (relaxing and pretty). I parked in the 4 hour visitor parking and on a Friday around 11 AM it wasn't crowded. The staff asked if we had been there before and when we hadn't they explained all their drink options. The most interesting were 4 options for cold brew cocktails (my party ordered a mint one). The mint one was lightly mint flavored and lightly sweet - very worth trying ($6). My party came for the acai bowls and we all got the mucho grande (most expensive at ~$11). It came with blueberries, banana, almond butter, raw honey, granola, and I forgot what else. The other bowls only come with berries and granola I think? The berries were nice and cold and there was a lot of good texture and flavor but my ONLY complaint is that acai base melted too quickly so it became more of a smoothie bowl and that's rly important to me that it stays kinda frozen for longer so that's why -1 star. I would def come back to work or study from here since it's quaint and a nice place with a lot of coffee options.

Amazing coffee shop with a joyful staff and excellent coffee. Perfect place to study with a relaxing, beautiful, and quiet atmosphere.
