La Hacienda

Excellent service, ambiance, and food. I dined solo at the bar and every single staff member I interacted with (about 5) were so nice and really great at their respective jobs. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and experience here. If I had any critique, I found the steak to be slightly under seasoned. However, it was cooked as requested and everything else was wonderful.

The food was good, but I've had better. The ambiance was good and servers were nice, but the restaurant is highly over-rated! They are also way over-priced, for instance 20.00 for a bowl of guacamole, 20.00 for a bowl of corn. Yes, the restaurant has history and is in a world-famous hotel, so high prices are to be expected, but I've travelled to many countries and have been to many restaurants that are much better (food quality) and more delicious!

One of the best meals I've ever had in Arizona, probably the best or second best Mexican restaurant I've been to. Nice atmosphere, luxurious but not too snobby. Very impressed with the way our server handled one of our guest's severe allergies. The food was excellent, especially the shrimp enchiladas. Will be back hopefully!

I'm sure it's nice but we accidentally went there after Google (ing) Mexican nearby while driving through and didn't realize we were going to a resort. So that was first surprise. But we proceeded in. Lighting was low and ambience was loud. I asked about seed oils and they definitely are canola oil heavy. We thought the chips were horrible. Tasted burned and very coarse. Salsa was fine. Prices very inflated to be using cheap oils. All that said, if I was staying at the resort I'd probably be fine spending hundreds on one Mexican meal. We left and went to Garcia's. Much better for our pockets and palettes! Ambience better too. I don't like close tables with lots of noise. Nor do I like having to study a menu worrying about overpriced food. Like, add protein for $14 more and up. lol

Our favorite dining experience while staying at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale. Beautiful venue with fireplaces and seats under the stars.Unique Guacamoles made with Sweet Corn and Pomegranates and some fantastic Lobster Tacos. Main dishes we had were the Barbacoa de Res and Carnitas Hacienda. For desert a Sweet Corn Tres Leches cake and Mexican Chocolate Tart.One of the nicest Mexican restaurants that I have ever been too. Fun experience and great service with fresh Guacamole and drinks made tableside.

We stayed at the resort and dined during dinner. We ate at the bar but try to make a reservation, if possible. It was a very busy night but the bartenders were very attentive and our food came out promptly and correct. We all got some variation of the fajitas and enjoyed. We enjoyed the beverages as much!

So many great reviews and people recommended this place. I was excited to try it. They just need to add more seasoning to their food. They give you complementary chips and salsa. The salsa was good but could be better. We also got the sampler of guacamole and the pomegranate one was good. They do have mocktails. They are expensive like $14 for a the pineapple passion fruit. I got the chargrilled fajitas the chicken wasn't that great, the steak was good but could have used more seasoning. Got rice and beans and they were good.My friend didn't like how the mole tasted.

Let's just start by saying, this is a beautiful location situated in the middle of the princess resort in Scottsdale. If you're lucky enough to be staying here for any reason and want a delicious meal La Hacienda will not disappoint. The restaurant itself has wonderful atmosphere, a little dark and moody with a great bar area and lovely staff. We enjoyed some delicious cocktails and guac, before dinner which consisted of some shrimp tacos and chicken fajitas.My only complaint was that the portions seemed small for the price, but when you're at the princess you should expect everything will cost you more. If it wasn't a special occasion I may never have tried this place, and it's actually too pricey for me on a regular basis.

The food was out of this world! Cheese was super cheesy and meat was so flavorful. Even the chips were good they also make the guacamole right in front of your eyes!The thing that puts this place aside from all other restaurants was service. The staff were so friendly and understanding! You can feel the care they put in their food. Our server was Aaron was the best server. He was so friendly and courteousThe ambiance was romantic and calm. We walked in and saw this beautiful chandelier and many displays of wine glasses. They have my vote for #1 I'll be back

Food is amazing. Guacamole and the Queso are a must try. Great service and restaurant has a wonderful ambiance.
