WowwwwwTried this place for the first time, had a Mango smoothie & a Tuna Sandwich. The smoothie was a perfect amount & a great price they use all fresh fruit for their smoothies. It was so good I went 2 days in a row, today I tried the strawberries & bananas also was bomb. The tuna sandwich was filling was able to eat half for lunch & half for dinner, they use Albacore, was also a great price. Service was great, the employee working today seemed to love her job, and her attitude shows(=

I stopped in for the first time and got a mango pineapple smoothie and it was DELICIOUS! One of the best smoothies I've had in a long time. Also the prices are fantastic. 6 bucks for a smoothie - best deal in SD. I saw in previous reviews that they only take cash but they take cards now also.

I've came here twice in the past week and they have amazing customer service! There sandwiches are delicious as well as the corn in a cup and tostilocos. I will definitely keep coming back!

i've been coming here for years!!! well over 20 years. this is by far one of my favorite fruit places. They make the best sandwiches, fruit salads, healthy fruit juice and more. Norma and her husband have been very very great with customer service and fresh product. You cannot go wrong, always satisfying.

I have memories of this deli inside Price Breakers. I hadn't been there in over 10 years ago and on a whim, decided to drop in and order food for my family. I wish I hadn't . I ordered 5 tortas and a large fruit salad with cottage cheese & honey to go. I never saw the food being made because I stepped back to let others order. When they handed me my food it was already packed up in containers. Well, when I got home, I was so disappointed with all the food. The bread was overly toasted to the point of being hard as a rock. I mean that bread was super hard! That lady who makes the tortas has been there for years and I never remember them toasting the bread before. They didn't ask me if I wanted the tortes toasted so I figured they just weren't going to do it. My kids were super hungry so we just made the best of it and ate the food. I didn't go back to complain but now regret it because I should have. I ended up scraping the roof of my mouth because of that hard bread. I felt so bad because during dinner I was watching my husband and kids tearing off the edges of the bread because it was so tough, trying to find soft spots to bite into. THAT bad! I could understand over toasting maybe 1 torta but all 5 of them? I was so mad. I didn't like that cheese they used either. It was soft and warm like it had melted on that hard over-heated bread. I wanted a torta not a quesadilla. So, bottom line, the tortas were not good at all. I think the ones we make here at home are much better and when we do make them, we buy soft teleras. Oh and when we got to the fruit salad the cantaloupe and melon were super hard and not ripe, not sweet at all. The strawberries were mushy too, tasted old.The kids were picking out the strawberries (and they LOVE strawberries!) Overall, I'd say I spent $60 on a bunch of BAD food. Everyone at my house agreed. I'll NEVER go back again.

Bomb ass tortas for sure driving through San Diego must stop and grab one never disappointed in a Lomo torta.

Came here for a turkey torta for the first time in years and it was just as good as I remembered it being. The ladies at the register were friendly and provided fast service. This deli is located inside the price breakers indoor bazaar, the location is very small so don't expect to find a seat to sit down and eat. However, don't be fooled by its appearance. This place by far is one of the best spots to stop by for a quick bite and refreshing smoothie.
