Cabeza Carnitas and Al pastor tacos were 10/10. The lady who took my order was very friendly and so was the older gentleman who brought the food over and offered me free cucumbers, onions, and radishes. I will definitely come back

La Fachada is an unassuming hole-in-the-wall spot in Barrio Logan serving up a large selection of Mexican food. They have plenty of different meat options to choose from for many of their items. The tacos are simple and classic served on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. They have both red and green salsas on the side as well. They also give complimentary cooked onions and peppers which I loved. Service was friendly and you can either eat outside or inside. Definitely get a gordita and a mulita! The gordita has like a fried empanada-esque shell where you cut through it and it's filled with meat. Topped with lettuce and cotija cheese this was sooo good. We got it with birria inside and I recommend getting a shredded type of meat since it paired really well together. The Mulita was also amazing! It's basically a 2 taco shells with meat inside and held together by melted cheese. Like a taco sandwich yummmm. We tried different meats for the tacos and all of them were great. Not necessarily the best tacos, but for the price and taste, they are definitely worth it. I would definitely come back if I'm looking for the no frills type of food La Fachada offers.

Friendly service, great prices and amazing food! You can't ask for anything more. Things that I ate from our spread:Birria taco: so tender and juicy. Corn tortilla was perfect. Birria Gordita: my first time having a Gordita and I think it could be my favorite of the bunch. There was no extra room, it was packed with meat. Al pastor taco: I do love Al pastor, but I think it was overshadowed by some other things we had. The chips and salsa while you wait are everything you'd want and more. I had to push them out of arms reach after a little while. Jamaica juice was a great addition to the meal. I have been looking for a solid spot for Mexican food and I think I found it :)

Coming here reminded me of the taco shops in Mexico outside seating, food comes quickly. The server was really friendly and had our food out right away. The taco shop wasn't alot as to looks but the food came out so fresh! Wish the carne asada was more flavorful but it was still pretty good.

Oh the flavors! Really enjoyed the massive combination platter #1. Not the cheapest place and flies were everywhere outside. Fortunately no credit card surcharge.

I'm so so glad we decided to come here before leaving our weekend stay in San Diego to come back to LA. Every single item on the menu is on point. Obviously this place is very authentic but I don't know what it is they do to make their food so good. The California burrito blew my expectations away but even the classic Mexican food will have you tripping off how good it is. Don't pass on this gem!!

A humble taco stand that brings me back to the west side of San Antonio - the city where I grew up! I ordered a variety of tacos:Carne Asada: really good. You could taste the char from a great sear on the meat. Al Pastor: tasty, but not quite the flavor profile I'm accustomed to in an al pastor. Wish there was some pineapple. Cabeza: possibly one of the best I've had! So tender and packed with flavorTripas: strong intestine flavor - which is what I like! But if that's not your thing, be wary. I do wish it was crispier though as the tripas were quite softPollo Asado: decent chicken taco but really paled in comparison to the other choices. It should be noted that their tortillas were excellent! They are corn but are thicker and dont crumble like other corn tortillas. The portions are also very generous as these tacos were stuffed. If I lived here, La Fachada would be a regular spot for me!

Literally the BEST place in SD Genuinely some of the best tacos and reminded me so so much of home, the salsa is absolutely delicious and the tortillas son hechas a mano (made by hand)The owners are so sweet as well!!Will definitely be returning many more times :)

Everything tastes disgusting! We got tacos, mulitas, and sopes and everything tasted horrible. The carne asada doesn't even taste like carne asada & their shredded beef had a very strange flavor. Poor service, no toilet paper in restroom, no soap, no paper towels and then there are flies everywhere because the tables are so dirty and sticky! The good reviews here must get paid for or something because the only good thing here was their agua de coco. Do not go eat here, everything tastes absolutely disgusting!
