La Dive

Visited around 7:30 on a Friday night and this new bar was about 75% full which I took as a good sign of a solid addition to the neighborhood! My husband and I cozied up on 2 stools, reviewed the menu, and loved the options. He had a beer that he enjoyed and I had a yummy bubbly orange/rosé pet-nat of which I was a big fan! Not wanting the night to end, we grabbed some food too-- warm sourdough with whipped butter (soooo good! There was a coarse salt on the butter that made it addictive), roasted mussels with calabrian chili, fried garlic and lime (flavorful and tasty. Don't mistakenly eat the rock garnish though lol), and rockfish crudo (light and delicious). Everything was a hit. Playlist was fire. Service was top notch. Really excited to become a regular here as long as I time it out right to get a seat!

Had a fantastic experience! First off the bartender was a gem of a human--he allowed us to taste multiple wines in order to decide what would work best with our appetizer. He was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The space was also fun! The mural on the wall was awesome, the barstools were pretty and comfortable. Overall the decor and environment is so well thought out. The menu and drinks are creative and delicious! I cannot wait to try more of the menu. We came in late so we only were able to pick from the late night menu but I tried steak tar tar and had a fantastic chilled red wine. At the end we tried a chambong which was quite the experience lol. I won't give it away if you haven't done one before but I recommend trying it out. We had so much fun. I cannot wait to come back again soon!!! :) what a perfect edition to the neighborhood!! I highly highly recommend.

Friendly service and great addition to uptown's collection of restaurants. Mussels were a big hit and looking forward to eating here again.

I've been waiting a while for this place to open. It was worth the wait. I've never tried orange wine before and the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was delicious. Heads up they open at 3 but the kitchen doesn't open until 4. I tried the sourdough bread and Chicory salad. Both were delicious and had good portions. Shout out to the bartender Abbie. I will definitely be back

Such a hidden gem! The food is insanely good and really creative, it's seriously heaven for a foodie and the menu rotates often so there is always something new to try. I love their bar snacks, especially their toasts with seasonal compound butters and their house made pickles. The vibe is cool and laid back, and the drinks are super balanced. Seriously love this place and come here often, would recommend to anyone who appreciates awesome creative eats!!

If a hipster went to culinary school, I feel this is what you would get.... The name says it all - "La Dive.".Review: Rockfish Crudo: Missed the mark and didn't seem super fresh. C+Beecher's cheddar gougeres: Puff Pastry was over cooked filling was meh. C+Kale Soup: Would come here and get this to go - A-Wines: Solid A... just... I wouldn't come here for a nice glass of wine.While I can respect a good dive bar and this type of food experience, I feel I would want them separated.... I don't think i'm the audience here.

Love love LOVED this place! I will definitely be back. The staff were phenomenal with recommendations and service. Super personable and helpful. The wines I tried were all really lovely, and I appreciated that they had several natural wines. The food was fantastic, which doesn't always happen at a wine bar. They also had many vegetarian options! But I'd definitely come back for both the wine AND the food (and the service!). The ambiance is really nice for a date night or fun night out with friends, but I also saw several other solo folks like me! Will definitely be back and bringing my people!

We had a disappointing experience. The drinks were fine, the food was okay, and the staff were standoffish and not friendly. We had a couple people in our group (all over 25) who look younger and the bartender gave them a bit of a hard time when ordering drinks and continued to be cold after. We had to push to order food and did not feel welcome. I understand that they need to check, but people are usually much nicer about it. Not the best way to start a night out celebrating a birthday. Will not be back.

Mortadella sandwich was wonderful, the chocolate moose perfect! The bartender Jeff was informed, offered tastings of anything wine...all good!

We were so happy to discover La Dive once we moved to Queen Anne. This place has such fabulous drinks and our new favorite bartender Danny has generously introduced us to some fun vermouths and orange wine (yum!) Their special creamsicle dessert was heavenly.
