My friend and his friend were in this area and wanted some recommendations from me of where to go to dinner. It was a Wednesday night around 6:30. I looked around the area on google maps, went on Yelp and found this little gem. When they arrived it was about 2/3 full. The place is small and quaint with table seating and a bar. They got a table for 2, service was excellent. They both had Wine and Beers. They ordered the Eggplant Parmesan Sicilian Style and Linguini Frutti di Mare. The dishes were a good size portion, coming out hot and fresh and tasting great! They both loved this neighborhood gem.Atmosphere: small and quaint. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.

This is for delivery service. Meatballs were horrific & threw them out. Veal piccata was an 8. Lobster ravioli was an 8. Therefore pretty good for delivery. Just don't get the meatballs !!

This is in a shopping center so plenty of parking. As we walked towards the door, the door was opened for us by a man who sat us and served us. It's a little small in there but it wasn't too busy so we were able to sit immediately on a Wednesday evening. We were given some bread and olive oil/balsamic to dip. Yum!We were served quickly and the man was very friendly. I ordered the pappardelle Bolognese. The meatSauce was AHH-amazing! So flavorful and full of meat. The pasta tasted fresh. I loved it!

Still my favorite place to visit when in AZ. I'm treated like family, and the food and service is always on point. Never a bad meal or experience in over 5 years. A hidden gem! Stop by and give them a try...you won't be disappointed.

What a nice surprise. We were inspired to try La Cucina based on the reviews. From the outside, just another storefront. Inside is nice. The food and service is very good. We split a Caesar, which was more than enough. Dressing has a nice mustard tang, but not overwhelming. Chicken Parm was delicious, especially the marina and nicely prepared. My wife got the chicken piccata, which had a really delicious sauce. We will definitely be back!

We tried La Cucina Bistro and Wine Bar tonight. They had a nice little crowd. We shared the Caesar salad which was yummy and I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the parpadella bolognese. Both were very good and we brought home enough for another meal for each of us. Very nice gentleman who was our server, bartender and front of the house. Their homemade bread that they bring out is amazing!! Not enough room to try one of their desserts, but they looked good.

Price have gone up a lot and somehow the quaint feel is less quaint - perhaps it was the fluorescent lighting on one of the walls. It used to feel more cozy. The bread in the bread service is unbelievably good - crunchy outside, hot and moist inside with great fermented bread flavor. They still have not learned that the bowl of oil with balsamic at the bottom does NOT WORK - all the oil stays on top and all the balsamic stays on the bottom so all you get is oil with every dunk. At least serve it with a spoon so we can get to the balsamic OR serve them separately so we can get both on our bread plate. FOr me the bread is better with butter which they did bring when asked. We had calamari which are stick like cut from the squid body - not rings - and as the last time they were overcooked - at least 30 if not 45 seconds over the limit in the fryer so they were quite chewy. The marinara with it was very tasty. The pappardelle with bolognese was amazing - a hearty portion with great depth of flavor and fantastic noodles. The scallops and shrimp with spaghetti were disappointing. The sauce was very thin and lacked flavor. The seafood itself was cooked very well as the pieces were all moist and tender however spaghetti is the wrong pasta for this dish - a bronze cut egg noodle would bring more flavor and have better texture to grab the sauce - although the sauce needs to be much more flavorful than what we were served. We will probably return and order ravioli or other house made pasta and not spaghetti.Service was very friendly.

We found this restaurant on Yelp due to good reviews. The reviews were dead on. Great food. Great service. It is in a strip center, but most restaurants are these days. The owner was there and spoke with us as the manager was our server. When I asked for a recommendation, he gave an unequivocal endorsement of the veal parmigiana. Tremendous. My wife had the scallops au gratin. Again excellent. Nice wine choices as well. Definitely worth going back to and we will.
