La Cremuex

I needed a fix for my sweet tooth and noticed this bakery in the small strip of businesses just east of 18th Ave on Indian School. The location is spacious and very clean. The bakery cases featured some beautiful deserts in orderly cases. I picked up 2 slices of cake and some peanut butter cookies. The frosting on the cake slices was the whipped cream style but lighter and not as sweet as I have had from other places. This was a definite plus. The layer between the white cake layers was a luscious milk chocolate buttercream icing. The other slice featured chocolate cake with a layer of fresh strawberries and the same whipped cream used to frost the cake lightly strawberry flavored.The family running the shop were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. They are very proud of the hard work and love they put into their baked goods and small business. I look forward to stopping by and recommending this bakery which is way too close to home, which is why it earned a 5th star for convenience from me. We ate the cake before I could get a photo. But I included one of the peanut butter cookies.

Finally checked this cute little bakery out! Got to meet the sweet owner, learn a little bit about her business, and leave with a couple slices of cake to try. First of all, I'll admit, the first thing that grabbed my attention was their business name. I mean, who doesn't like Cremeux ... silky, smooth, light, creamy, and dreamy mousse-like fillings. Then I noticed that they do cake slices, so I had to try!I ended up getting a slice of their signature, zucchini cake with fresh fruits and their signature Chantilly cream cheese mousse. For the work that goes into this cake, $8/slice I thought was appropriate, maybe a tad high but okay. I also tried their tres leches ($7/slice) and thought this was pretty good too! The milk is on the sweet side, so I ended up diluting it with more milk, but all in all would recommend to anyone in the area.Can't wait to make another trip here again. Unfortunately they had a limited selection when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, but hopefully next time there will be more available!

I ended up with two pieces of Tres leches, one strawberry, one chocolate and one chocolate cake with white frosting Everything tasted delicious The cake was especially deep and rich . Very chocolateyI would definitely go in to order my next birthday cake

Incredible mom n pop little bakery. Don't let this one slip you by! Cakes all made from scratch, and you can tell the owner is proud of each one! Bought their red velvet cream cheese cake for a friends birthday and it was a smash hit!Also got to taste their spring fling cake, one of the best cakes I've ever tried!!!

Had the spring fling cake with whipped cream instead of cream cheese frosting. Oddly enough the cake flavor was zucchini. I have to say this was one of the best tasting cakes we've ever had. Everyone was really impressed. The cake was beautifully decorated. This will be my bakery from now on.
