La Costa Taqueria #2

If you're in Everett and you need a little sit-down place where they sling some of the best authentic tasting tacos with only a 5 minute wait, this is the spot. I'm Hispanic and grew up in Chula Vista, San Diego, so I have a decent insight in flavor expectation: this hit every check for me outside of not cooking in sandals. I ordered pollo (start safe, work my way up to daring). I won't lie, after the first bite I didn't hide my excitement at how delicious it tasted. Chicken was juicy, flavorful, great heaping of toppings, well cooked. It's hard to screw up beans and rice but it's been known to happen (pitiful), however the sides were just as tasty! Hot sauces complimented the dish perfectly. Great little restaurant, highly recommended!

Wow oh wow. This is with out a doubt the best Mexican food experience in Everett. The service 10 out of 10. We were surprised at the food menu. Yes we will be back with frie

I come here for taco Tuesday almost every Tuesday. Best $2 Pollo, adobado, and carnitas tacos in the county. The carnitas are my favorite.

I ordered the Cuban Torta and it was very good. Freshly prepared with fresh ingredients, and I didn't have to pay extra for red or green salsa, they bring the bottles to your table! I'll definitely come back and try something new next time!

Soooo yummy, good prices & the service was great! I just got a taco plate but I want to go back & try more stuff.

This is probably the best taco shop in Everett. Consistently fresh and delicious food, and friendly service at a great price.

In shortA bustling little taco shop making every square inch work in a small space toward the back of a strip mall. In longThis is a big, busy 6-lane road with strip mall after strip mall, divided evenly between several meaningless chain franchises and some cool independent businesses. I think these folks have another location or two but it definitely feels 100% local.Parking is almost always a snap right through here--they put the big lots around these big strip malls. I strolled in well after lunch rush this afternoon and there were still multiple tables occupied. I was the only person speaking English, unless someone was speaking to me. It's been said a frillion times, but that's a nice subtle hint that the food might be pretty interesting.There are 3 booths, 4 tables, a chair rail, and a couple windows. In back there's a big pictorial menu monitor and a list of proteins (available in any dish). There's a big plancha behind the counter, spatulas slapping it steadily, making the whole place smell incredible. I got the quesadilla plate with birria, which was excellent. Rice was kinda chewy, beans were a little runny. Grilled onions on top, fried jalapeno spear alongside. I'd take like half a dozen of these jalaps--good stuff. The birria was nicely flavored, not too soggy, still a little chew to it (not just soft mush by any means). Toasty tortilla around it. Both the red and the green salsas had tons of flavor, with good smoky heat showing through in the red. Everybody here was friendly, you pay contact-free with any card, and prices were fair. They offer online ordering for to go, and I gotta say, if it's near lunch or dinner time, it might be packed. That would be a smart way to go. Good, cheap food in a clean, friendly environment doesn't stay secret for long.

Terrible terrible terrible. False advertisement/missing ingredients. Look at pic!!.. there is no white sour cream in that burrito other than a heaping of unhealthy terrible white cheese smothered in there. Was so disappointed in this place. No sour cream at all where's the white? No avacado salsa (not much green or anything wet at all in the inside.. green onion cilantro don't see much? Smdfh. This burrito was dryer than the Sahara/sanorian desert! Smdh. & saltier than the Salton Sea in SoCal!‍ -Door Dashed this- Guess that's why. #Shady. This is like the 3rd Mexican place CA & Wash in a row (hate to stereotype) that does this ish! Cuz they know your not gonna complain in person &/or bring it back. cheap dishonest & don't put the ingredients they advertise in it. So lame. Huge mistake in DD'ing it. Threw away half of this burrito cuz it was just soooo dang salty like they poured 1lb of salt in it. Idk what's up w some of these fresh authentic adjectives some of y'all using for this place. The only thing fresh & authentic is them putting the pepper & a couple grilled onions in there. Unsure if I'll try it again, if I do it'll be in person but I probably will steer at far as possible. Seriously feel like I'm going to have a heart attack & hbp spiked from the ridiculous amount of salt in this burrito!

First time coming here and food was quick and service was great! Love me some authentic street tacos! Had so much flavor and it was just the right amount of food! Will be coming back to try other options on the menu!

I had the Birria Taco plate & husband had the Taco Tuesday special with chicken and beef tacos. Both plates were excellent, hot and came fast. The rice & beans were also great. We will go back!
