Every single one of these plates tasted amazing. We literally passed all of our plates around the table to make sure we tried them all. We also had the shrimp ceviche, pork belly and the ribeye chicharrón as an appetizer which we ate too fast and didn't get pictures...The mango margarita was great but the Jamaica margarita was my favorite!! So good tasted like candy! Service was good. Waiters were very attentive. We were here for a birthday and they really treated him well and brought out a personal size chocolate cake and played music on the speakers for him. Very fun environment. Grand opening is 5/31 at 4pm

I was so excited to visit this place, but I left with a disappointed tummy. The service was great, but the food was subpar. We ordered the torta and enchiladas. Everything was decent... but for the price, I expected way more. My rice was bland and a bit soggy. Hopefully they work out their kinks and can improve the quality of food. The place itself is so cute and has a small patio to sit outside! They have live music sometimes, so that's a bonus if you'd like to vibe out while eating. I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't return unless they add more to their menu.

Wife and I came in here last weekend. Keep in mind that they are still in a soft opening. Price point is highAmbiance: Not too many changes from the last owner but it is cleaned up and the mermaid mural is gone. :)We will be back to give them a second try.

If I could give a 4.5 I would. We had dinner here over the weekend and it was still their soft opening. The menu had a nice selection. The decor is better (in my opinion) and the servers were very friendly as well.y husband loved that they make different salsas - they were allVery different and good. I listed what we ordered below. Ceviche- favorite thing we ordered. Birria tacos- you get two tacos. The consome was really nice. Seemed a bit pricey for two tacos.Quesadilla- good but kind of seemed like a big taco. We will definitely be back to try more items. Our servers said they will have their grand opening soon. I would recommend trying this new addition.

La Costa is the newest eatery that has taken over this bar setup in North Park. They recently debuted without much fanfare. The notable differences to the decor were better lighting and more gold coloring compared to its most recent predecessor. My visit occurred during the soft opening phase, therefore the number of customers was limited. They seemed to be mostly family and/or friends of the owners.The one-page menu was a blend of Latin American fare with a burger, salad, and pasta thrown in the mix to create the 'fusion' in the business name. The golden font that was used to describe each item was difficult to read. I mentioned that to my server who recognized the issue because of the ambient lighting. I picked the Pork Belly to start my meal. The belly pieces were slow cooked in fat confit-style and then deep fried until crispy. A honey sriracha sauce was drizzled on top which gave a sweet contrast to the savory meat.Four types of tacos were available and served as a pair per order. I asked if I could select two different ones instead of a matching duo. The chef agreed with the request so the Black Garlic Shrimp and Pulpo Enchilado were my choices. The first taco had black garlic mojo shrimp on a blue corn tortilla crusted with cheese. The toppings were avocado slices and a cilantro scallion sauce. The second taco consisted of grilled octopus marinated with chile mojo sauce on a corn tortilla. Melted oaxaca cheese, sauteed onions, avocado, and crema were added. A cup of de la olla beans came with the plate.I gave a slight edge to the Pulpo Enchilado because of my bias toward grilled octopus. The sauteed onions also made an impact on the texture of this taco that the shrimp one didn't have. For a small kitchen, I felt the food produced by La Costa Fusion Cuisine was impressive enough to be worth a 4.5 star rating.

I was looking for a good spot for a double date with some Good friends. Found this restaurant on YELP and decided to try. This place exceeded our expectations! The service was Amazing! Our waitress was very attentive and patient. We started with a Strawberry hibiscus Sangria....SO GOOD, refreshing and delicious! We then ordered some appetizers...La Costa Ceviche, Garlic Parmesan Fries, and Pork belly. All appetizers were so Delicious!! The pork belly was savory and exquisite, an absolute MUST try item!!I ordered the La Costa burger. This burger was delicious, a 3/4 lb. patty cooked to perfection with Quaxaca cheese. My husband ordered the "Killer" Quesadilla. This Quesadilla definitely lives up to its name! The rib eye meat in the quesadilla was so flavorful and had a slight kick. One of the best quesadillas I have ever had in my life! The owner (who is from Acapulco) came over to our table to introduce himself. Such a genuinely authentic nice guy! Our friends and I had such a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance, the food, the service... 10 out of 10!! Looking forward to our next visit soon to try their ribeye steak!!

This restaurant is on good location is next to my son school so is good to get a taco an beer I bring my mom and my nice and my son was so gooood

It was a great friendly welcoming place in north park. Our server Ashley was amazing. Foods were delicious . It was Tuesday Tacos day.... we had ceviche and tried all tacos absolutely tasty yummy we loved it.

Second time at this place and both visits were incredible. Casual restaurant with a diverse menu and great drink list. Ceviche and tacos are insanely good. They have a pork belly app that sometimes shows up on the menu as tacos. Crazy good. Very friendly staff and sometimes live music. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Delicious new spot in the heart of north park. I tried all the tacos and they were all delicious.The service was quick and very attentive. Latin music kept the ambience fun. We will be back for sure
