La Conasupo Taqueria and Snack Shop

Not going to hold back any punches here: This was one of the worst culinary experiences my wife or I had in Seattle. And in her words, this was the WORST FOOD she had so far. We went in and after seeing the taco article online that raves about this place (see photo below). Maybe it was a special occasion, but the tacos are NOT cheap here ($5-6 per taco? Wow). So we opted for a quesadilla. The owner recommended the combination quesadilla, which was $15.99. I asked for the meat to be replaced with lengua (beef tongue), and he decided to slide in an extra dollar on the charge. Fine. The quesadilla was BEYOND horrible. Too much cheese and the tortilla wasn't good at all. It was like eating a hard taco. I cut the quesadilla in half and gave half to my wife. I had lengua in mine, but my wife complained that she didn't taste any meat. When she opened her quesadilla, lo and behold it was all cheese and mushrooms. No meat to be seen! And the audacity to sneakily charge us an extra dollar, when we barely got any meat. To say this quesadilla was a crime is an understatement. I love my quesadillas, and no joke, I would, on any day, order a Taco Bell quesadilla over this. At least they give some meat in theirs compared to here. At the end of the day, we left the place $20 poorer, hangry, frustrated, and famished. We are all for supporting small businesses, but we will never come back to this one.My wife is cooking instant ramen as we speak. Literally 10 min after leaving this place.

Without a doubt the best tacos I've had in Seattle... it took me a long time to come and try this place despite being steps away at the Morrow, mostly because of the price. $5+ for tacos? I didn't believe the reviews that said the tacos are hefty enough to justify the price, but indeed they are... piled high with hot, glistening, rich and flavorful carnitas and cabeza. Next time I return to Seattle, I know I have to make a stop here on the weekend to try the barbacoa. Greenwood residents, you have a gem here, one of the few standout Mexican options in the city.

The food was really good. Large portions I'll admit when one taco was $5, didn't love that .. but when the taco was brought out there was enough meat to make 3 or 4 - I understood . They have an extra tortilla with each taco. I ordered a torta, and two tacos. Couldn't even get to my tacos- I was so full from my torta. A table next to me got quesadillas yumm When They got their tacos they were equally surprised at how much food they had ordered. The eating area was very clean The service was great. Everyone was very friendly and efficient Oh yeah -the salsas

Absolutely one of the best quesadillas I've ever had in Seattle. Amazing price for the huge portion, perfect soft and toasty corn tortilla, pollo tinga was tender and flavorful. The green salsa that comes with it was so fresh and bright. Love that I can get some chamoy gummies from the snack shop for after my meal. Adding this to our takeout rotation!

We wholeheartedly believe in supporting local businesses, which is why we went to La Conasupo recently. The ambiance is about a 3 out of 10. We ate very little of our food--stewed meat can be good but this meat was short on flavor. The salsas helped a bit, but the dearth of seasoning hurt. I'm supposed to talk about service--not really a factor here. You place your order at the front counter, find a clean table, and someone walks your food from the kitchen to your table. We won't return, but the other excellent reviews should be enough to let you know it's a YMMV situation, as it is with all restaurants.

If you haven't had the consomé soup here, you haven't lived. Period. Admit it, you deserve happiness, here it's delivered in the form of a hot streaming brothy bowl.

Excelente servicio , El local es ta extra limpio . porciones grandes y cuando digo grandes es verdad!! Amigable y cordial personal. super recomendable si visitas Seattle y quieres un rico platillo mexicano con musica de todo tipo.

I had some amazing barbacoa and they have a big beer selection! Service and ambiance 10/10

Great food- have tried almost all meats and they seem all to be stewed. Very flavorful and 1 order of tacos comes with a huuuggeee mound of meat with three tortillas. Their quesadillas are also delicious and I'm sure they make their own tortilla for that, which is a thicker more structural tortilla to hold in the loads of cheese and fillings. For vegetarians, they do have a mushroom quesadilla which I think is pretty tasty. Their salsas are also great! This is tucked behind a small market storefront so just head in and you'll see tables in the back! The owner and everyone who works there are so kind. We come by multiple times a month. And surprisingly even though the meats are stewed here, they carry out pretty nicely.Just remember, in general portions are huge for everything. ;)

hola buenos días !!! yo llegué el día de hoy a comprar comida para llevar y les faltó echarme mis tacos yo llegando a casa 30 minutos de camino y darme cuenta que la mitad de la horden faltaba me decepciona y quiero dejar claro que puedo.... entender si estuviera muy ocupado no avía nada de clientes .... eso es frustrante cuando llegas a casa y no está completo recuerdo que ese lugar era lo mejor unos cuantos años atrás
