DELICIOUS!! I ordered to-go and my order was ready within 10 minutes! I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite and I definitely will be back again to dine in.

We were in the area having spend some time at Long Hunter Park and were looking for a lunch spot on the way back into Nash. I dialed up the Yelp and found La Chula-the ratings were high so we felt good about dropping in.It seemed a bit off that at high noon there were no patrons partaking of their fare, we were literally the only folks who were there for lunch. A crew of worker types rolled in after we ordered so we were hopeful. My general rule is this: high noon + high car count = good potential, high noon + high car count + workers + police offers + pick up trucks = you better go!First some positives: the staff were friendly, the place was clean and the service was good and food came out fast. Here's what would have made it better: the salsa was a bit vinegary-not my preference, the refriend beans were served in a styrofoam cup, not super warm and not very flavorful, the street tacos were good just not great. Another less than stellar feature was the very loud music being played and being changed quite often before the song was over.The place has more of an after work/evening bar hang with a stage for live music. Perhaps that's their jam.Would I go again? Perhaps, if I wasn't driving and didn't have an option. Would I seek it out? Mostly likely not.But, the staff are super friendly...

I have wanted to try this place ever since I saw it opened recently. I also was excited that it was very close to my house. The inside decor looks really nice. I showed up at around 730P. I knew I wanted to try the birria. I was encouraged to order the combo because I wanted rice and beans. I got it to go. She told me it would be 10 minutes after I ordered. It was ready in 5 minutes! I took it home and dug in. I was Well pleased! I did not get the consome which I realized later (it's $2 extra) I will definitely get some next time. And there WILL be a next time :) The beans were very tasty. I loved the subtle zing they had. Very flavorful. Almost like ranch beans from Texas. The rice was also good. They open at 10 and it looks like they have breakfast burritos too! I will have to try from their vast menu.

This place is just awesome. The two ladies behind the bar were incredible. Two for one margaritas , I had the steak shrimp and chicken fajitas. Very tasty. Love this place will be back again and again. 5 Stars!!!!

Well me and my fiancé went and we had a decent time. It was pretty empty so the service was pretty fast. We both got margaritas he had a mango one and I had a strawberry one. They were supposed to be frozen but there were more on the slight slushy side but we think it's because they put a decent amount of alcohol in them. I must say me and him were pretty lit off just one margarita. If we had another we would have been drunk for sure. So the drinks are good and strong. As far as the food goes, we went for the birria tbh. He got birria tacos I got a birria quesadilla. To be fair the portion sizes were good especially the quesadilla. However as far as taste goes he gave it a 6 I gave it a 7. Mine was decent but his tacos weren't that great they weren't that crispy and the flavor of the meat itself wasn't just like wowing. It's not nasty by any means but it's not just spectacular. I also got a side of queso which was honestly mid. We prefer las marcas for everything or birria babe for the birria. Her birria tacos are very good. The environment was nice it was a cute inside.

I have tried this place a few times but ever time been disappointed. My order has been wrong 2/3 times. The food is just ok. I would reccomend going to a taco truck instead.

We had a party of 8 today for lunch at 11:30 am. From the time we walked in until we left none of us were impressed. The bleach smell was very potent and overpowering. The food was average at best. No chips and salsa came to the table even after asking. When chips arrived with the queso that was ordered the chips were greasy and the queso was served in a to go container with a lid. Very odd. We had 3 quesadillas and the cheese was chewy and greasy, two beef fajitas and the meat was chewy with a lot of gristle and no flavor. The street corn typically served on the cob was flavorless and also served in a to go cup off the cob (canned corn). The other thing was the music was so loud it was deafening and we felt as if we were yelling at each other during conversations. How anyone on some on the other reviews can say this is authentic Mexican food is beyond me. Simply put, we will not be back nor recommend this place to anyone.

Outstanding authentic Mexican food. This place is the real deal. If you're looking for Southern California style Mexican food, look no further. I'm from Los Angeles and this place will remind you of all of the amazing mom and pop restaurants that populate California. I had the shredded beef taco with homemade crispy shell, shredded lettuce, cheese and tomato. Perfect. Reminded me of El Taco, Maria's, El Adobe, El Farolito, all of the classic places back home. I also had a carne asada street taco that was perfectly flavored. They bring you the bottles of salsa verde and salsa rojo, it's fabulous. The refried beans were outstanding, too. They are like New Mexican refried bean where the beans are still visible. Everything about it was great. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You won't be disappointed.

The food was amazing. We ordered the Nachos, a burrito and a quesadilla. All the food was so good! I placed the order on-line but when we picked it up, they had forgotten the flan. Thankfully we realized this prior to leaving. The staff did not give me any issues with providing the missing item. I would definitely eat here again!

I give it two stars because I although I love the ceviche here .... The staff does not tell you that at a certain time they start racking up 18 percent automatic tip on the bill .. plus they shut the lights off at sun set to play karaoke and some ppl have a hard time reading the bill like myself . There is no post on the door or anywhere at that about automatic tip percentages regardless if it's one person eating or two ... staff figured since it's an automatic tip .. no need for attentiveness... that was a no for me . Tips shouldn't be an obligation .. tips are optional and given for service well done if at that we decide it is deserved . I tipped her 20 and she had already automatically put in 18 dollar tip that I wasn't aware if .. no circle around it no notice , nothing .. so upset so I'm not returning ! Money doesn't fall from the sky . I work for mine and if I want to give it away .. that should be my choice !
