A permanent taco truck in Bellevue, WA, La Chingona Taqueria serves tacos with the classic meats.La Chingona is located in the parking lot of a small office building that houses non-food businesses, so it is easy to find parking close by. We stopped by on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and were able to place and pay for our order pretty quickly. It's a simple menu, with street (calleieros) tacos dominating the menu. The tacos are quite a bit bigger than a street taco, however, and two tacos stuffed with meat will fill you up. They have the classic meats (al pastor [no trompo], carnitas, pollo asado, and carne asada), and one seafood option of baja style fish. Cabeza, Lengua are also other choices. Besides tacos (two corn tortillas), other options are quesadilla, burrito, and tortas. There doesn't seem to be any crunchy options (i.e. nachos, tacos dorados), though there is a 'famous' taco salad (assuming it comes in a crunchy shell). Our group kept it simple and ordered 6 al pastor tacos ($5.59 each) and 2 carnitas ($5.59 each). They come fully dressed with slightly grilled onions, a really good pico de gallo, some lime wedges (shouldn't 6 tacos deserve 6 wedges?) , and home-style potatoes. The salsa is avocado and a very hot red sauce. There is no condiment salsa bar. It was mentioned that sometimes the al pastor comes with grilled pineapple, but not this time. All of us enjoyed the tacos at home (they ended up forgetting to give us the 2 carnitas and gave a free horchata for the trouble after two of us had to go back to get the rest). All the meats were juicy, the potatoes added a lot of heft to each bite. They definitely overstuff the filling into each taco...there is enough to make another one just from the 'droppings' when trying to stuff it into your mouth. Quite delicious.

I moved here from NYC a few months ago and have been deprived of good, real Mexican food ( good food in general like what is up Washington state?? but that's another story). Anyways, I got the chicken burrito and although I first said $20 for a food truck burrito is crazy but.. the reviews look good, I'm hungry and don't feel like getting disappointed today. Yeah, so...it's good. Very good. And I will be ordering again and prob again. It tasted authentic and it was huge, I even saved half for dinner. I'm not really mad about the price because I felt like my money was well spent here. Can't wait to order some tacos next! Also the habanero sauce and the little green sauce is pretty tasty so next time I'll be ordering extra.

We were in search of a late lunch after landing at SeaTac and found La Chingona Taqueria on Yelp. The pictures looked appetizing and it seemed like a quick lunch so we opted to stop by. Since it was mid-afternoon on a random Wednesday, there was no wait to order. Carnitas Breakfast Burrito ($12.99): Shredded carnitas with cheese, beans, eggs, potato, and grilled onion wrapped in a large flour tortilla. The carnitas were tender, juicy, and flavorful. Portions are out of this world.. We ordered one entree per person but this easily could have fed two. Al Pastor Lunch Burrito ($12.49): Spicy pork with rice, beans, cheese, one large piece of pineapple, and grilled onions wrapped in a large flour tortilla. The pineapple chunk was a complete surprise - I have never seen anything like this but it was an interesting take. Utensils, salsas, and water provided to the right of the truck. There are some picnic tables or high top tables available to dine-in.

I always see this food truck when driving in this area and finally decided to stop here. I'm so glad I did. The fish taco was so delicious, a must get, had a crisp outside but tender soft flakey inside. It was definitely my favorite. I also got the carne asada and al pastor tacos which were also tasty but they added potatoes which I wasn't the biggest fan of (otherwise no complaints). They have a couple tables outside and some under a little cover as well with different types of salsa sitting on the tables. Every time I'm in the area, I try to stop by and grab a taco :)

Got pretty expensive over the years, hard to choose this spot over other ones with the prices so high. Still mostly cheaper than eating at a sit-down restaurant but pricier than I think any other taco truck I know. Also I think they used to sell champurrado but they don't anymore? Either way, disappointed they didn't have it.

Super yummy tacos! The price is higher than average for your usual street tacos but the portions are also larger. I like how they have seasoned potatos on top of the tacos. Pleasantly surprise the chicken tacos ended up being my favorite. They have a lot of flavor and the different salsas on top complement everything super well! Must try :)

Flavorless but second time with a burrito , They don't know how to layer good my beans where all on one side and top part was over cooked eggs , last time I got vegetarian and the nopal was to much big chunks and way to many mushrooms, again not layered properly, I stop eating tacos because there big big ass chunks , it feels like they don't give a crap they just slap it in one spot and roll it up , the meat why the hell you don't properly cut meat ? I'm from Mexico and lived in Los Angeles California and supposedly this place is the best Mexican spot . Not even in Mexico they give people big ass chunks , Do you want people to choke ? God forbid a younger person eating and they choke , please do better , they really don't have any culinary skills

This is authentic Mexican food that reminds me of California. Ingredients are quality and fresh, not drowning in grease and cheese like Tex-Mex. The beans are whole black beans instead of refried pinto. Gluten-free and vegan items are marked on the menu but the street tacos and street taco plates are also gluten free and dairy-free. The salsa alone is worth a trip and I always make sure to have extra tortilla chips at home or ordered to have something to dip into it and get every last bit. I cannot decide if the chorizo, pollo asado, or pastor with pineapple is my favorite. There is not really a set up to sit and eat on-site, so expect to pick up your order and go elsewhere or eat in your car. The stand can get really busy at mealtimes so recommend calling in order or ordering online before heading over.

They told me that these tacos were the best in all of Seattle, they were not wrong! They really are the tastiest tacos I've ever had in these surroundings.
