The food was amazing right down to the chips and salsa! Homemade tortillas? Wow! Fast service, friendly waitress, what else could one ask for? The ambiance was casual but still very nice.

Glad to have found a New Mexican restaurant in Lynnhood! During my typical aimless lunch journey whilst running errands, I happened by La Cazuela and gave it a try. About what you'd expect in terms of a cozy Mexican restaurant ambience. I got the Al Pastor burrito and could only finish half. It was BIG. Great flavor & I got two meals out of it. Props for not charging for chips & salsa. Great service, I will be back!

We were on a road trip and stopped by here based on the positive reviews but were sorely disappointed. The positives are that the restaurant does have a good vibe. The service is average and could use improvement. When we asked for a refill of the chips we were told it would cost $1.50 which we agreed to. The server came back with literally 10 chips! The shrimp a la Diablo that I ordered was swimming on oil and lacked flavor. My husband said that his grilled chicken lacked flavor. My son ordered the kids quesadilla which was just about average. Please save your hard earned moolah and give this place a miss.

In short:Awesome spot with a full menu, great for just tacos too, full bar, and looks like a fun hangout. In long:I came in today to pick up lunch for a crew of people helping me out with my place. They live in the area and picked this as their preferred lunch spot without hesitation. I've lived near here for years and now I'm finally making it in.It's a strip mall on a busy highway, though you'd never know it after you walk in. It's quiet and has a nice sheltered feel that's very welcoming. You feel like you've gotten away from the suburban thoroughfare on the other side of the door. Casual dining room, plenty of flatscreens tuned to Latin channels and a couple movies. There's a bar in back with about 8-10 stools. The menu is about 5 pages, laminated, plenty of pictures. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of entrees, including multiple seafood options. We ordered to go; I went down and picked up. I checked out a couple different tacos, which had perfectly-cooked meat and plenty of fresh, crisp condiments. Everybody else tried a bunch of different entrees and got to eating them so fast there was really no talking at all. Great sign. I was out the door with lunch for 5 and a generous tip for about $130. Not bad at all! I'll definitely be back to explore the menu some more and check out some of the tequilas and mezcals behind the bar.

You must get the carne asada burritos here, or really any burritos here! They don't fall apart on you and the flavors are just amazing. We love coming here when we are craving Mexican food. The service is decent and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend giving it a try.

The food was really good. I liked the more authentic options. I missed having good salsa with chips. They had great sauces when I asked for them. We enjoyed the food we ordered. I did not like that the only 2 booths had signs "reserved for family." We asked if we could sit there anyway and the hostess/server said it's shut down for safety reasons as they bring hot food from the kitchen through that pathway. We sat nearby since we were denied the booth. Twenty minutes later, kids and adults were standing and hanging around in snd out of those booths. Safety was not the real reason because they were in that hallway and nobody intervened. Bottom line- I would try here again once, for dinner for the el pastor because the taste of the food is mist important. I do hope that they offer ALL of their tables/booths, offer everyone their salsas/sauces upon seating, and that they thrive in business.

The staff here is very friendly, they are prompt and make sure you have everything you need. The food here was delicious, the only complaint i have is that my ceviche didn't have enough like to cook in so it was still raw the next day. I do appreciate that they make it fresh everyday though.

Lunch Time ReviewWonderful food, homemade tortillas, amazing jalapeño margaritas! BUT, know that when you go in, you're going to experience the worst service of your life! It'll take about 45 minutes to get chips and salsa. Maybe another half an hour to get a cup of water. Then when you order, you may or may not get what you ordered. If you go with a group of people, a few people out of the group will get food, and the rest will get served about an hour later.* lunch service is horrible...dinner service is wonderful*I keep on coming back for the food. But the service has really gone downhill in the last year.

Lunch time quick review, made the mistake by going off of 4 and 5 stars. Place was dirty, tables sticky. Chips and salsa ok and very little. Had to order beers as the water served was tap and tasted like iron. The carne asada tacos 5 for $17 were tough and Blane. Service was ok but we had to ask for napkins, limes, etc.Wont go back, this place needs a re-do.
