La Casona

This used to be a lot better !! I have been to 3 different La Casona locations and this one is not nearly as good! I don't know what the difference is but the other La Casana locations are A Lot better!! Lake Jackson and Angleton have phenomenal service, great drinks and really good food!! I do NOT recommend the Bay City location. The food lacks flavor, served very quickly! Too quick, obviously it was microwaved. The Margarita was terrible. Watered down and also lacked flavor. The waitress asked how the margarita was.I told her it was not good and she said oh sorry about that and walked away. I will not return to this location. I got sick the past 2 times we ate there. Bad meat I think?? The texture was off for what Should have been beef fajita.

Service is very fast, friendly and attentive. Nice sizable decorated interior with limited outside seating. In this part of Texas, that just makes sense. Solid standard TexMex restaurant. Good size menu. Seasoning is mild. Being from south Texas, we tend to like our TexMex with a bit more seasoning, but it is good. Did have to add salt and added a side of jalepenos. Salas is served warm. American enchiladas are well made. Nice touch. Good size portions. What is unique about this place, (as it is in Bay City), is they do serve crawfish when in season. Very cool.

Nice, parking limited in front, out door seating. Friendly Staff. Taco's and fajita's were very good and filling.

Recommended by my hotel's desk clerk during a business trip to Bay City. Great service, great staff, great atmosphere. I ordered shrimp enchiladas. A light cream sauce on top made it a great meal. Not too heavy - just right. No complaints - I'd go back the next time I'm in town.

Great restaurant in the small town, food was excellent, ask for their different sauces with the food, we like the red sauce with chips and green spicy sauce, ambiance was cozy, and service was excellent, would highly recommend and will also stop by again for ur next meal.

Always great food and service at La Casona.if you are in Bay City stop in. You will be happy you did. Great TexMex!

Good TexMex :) I like the soup that comes with allot of the meals and the stuffed avocado. I'm not usually a huge fan of rice, but I am of theirs! The jalapeño fajitas are really tasty.Really can't go wrong here.

Great service! Our waitress was precious and seeet! Cold beer and happy hour margaritas were a bonus! Great fajita nachos!! Not spicy, like Tex-Mex! Great place to stop--very chill and low key!!

Food and service are great, but the noise level is the pits!!!! Drinks are quite tasty, good bartenders.(Mixologist?)
