La Casita Cocina Mexicana & Cantina

We used to go to this place all of the time when we lived closer & loved it so we had to try again since my mom lives near now- so disappointed. Just read they have new owners- makes sense. We came in on a Sunday around 1:00 & waited at the entrance for a bit while one guy was running around until I approached him & said "Three for lunch". He grabbed some menus & took us to the empty bar- I said we wanted to sit in the dining room & he said it was full which seemed strange since the parking lot was empty. I think they were really understaffed. So we sat in the bar & what seemed to be the bartender came over & brought us chips,salsa & water. The chips were good-thin & crispy & the salsa had a nice kick. We sat there for a while & no one came to take our order until I waved the same guy that seated us came over (the bartender seemed to be aimlessly walking around). He quickly took our order- my mom got the arroz con pollo, my husband got the taco & enchilada combo & I got the tamale & enchilada combo. The food came out promptly- my mom loved hers- my husband said his was bland & mine was just ok. If we do make it back we would go with the arroz con pollo- it was $70 for just ok food- no drinks even.

Meat is good, service was relatively fast. Portions are gigantic ( American way) consider sharing plates!

Really friendly and attentive service. Got in our large group for a lunch, and got us in and out quickly, but we were in no way rushed. All I had were chicken tacos and they were fine. I really can't attest to their food beyond that, but I didn't give five stars because the tacos really didn't stand out. I was thrilled to learn they have blended margs and they were big - I know, I know - priorities. I'll likely try something different when I return and will update this review accordingly.

We came for dine-in on a Sunday night at 6:30 for dinner. There were only a handful of other people dining in, but it looked like they were doing a bunch if takeout orders. The service was super quick, I honestly couldn't believe they could have our four meals ready so fast! The plates are HUGE, we all took big containers of food home for leftovers! I wouldn't say it's the best Mexican food I've had, but it hits the spot!

Best Carne Asada .. and the flavor of the rice and the way they cook the beans... mmmm.. thinking about it makes me want more.

Love this Mexican American restaurant. Food is yummy and consistently goodOrdered the 2 combo. Chicken enchilada and chili rellenos. Come with rice, beans (whole or retried), guacamole Service is always great too. Free chips and salsa. Their salsa is a bit too spicy for me so I always ask for a little enchilada sauce to dip my chips in. Their portions size is huge and enough for two even is you have a big appetite They have outside seating tooMy bud ordered# 3 combo. Chili relleno, & 2 steak tacos, btw the steak tacos cost $3.00 more per taco, but the meat portion was substantial Tip: the restaurant temporary stopped having HH. But Hh will resume in the future!Definitely recommend!

Great food. Carne Asada was excellent, so were the fajitas.Very quick and nice people.Definitely recommend this place.Tito was awesome!

10 stars. They make Aguachile upon request! Service was quick and efficient. Food was excellent. 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be coming back!

After many years enjoying the food and service, we were very disappointed to find that the business had suddenly changed for the worse. The prices were considerably higher, service OK, but not nearly as friendly and attentive,and the food was just not as tasty. We have since done some exploration and though it's farther away, Tres Hermanos in Kirkland is our new favorite for Mexican.

This restaurant closes at 9 PM even though their listing on Yelp says they close at 11 PMWe arrived at 8:20 PM thinking we had plenty of time to eat. We were seated in the bar. There was no problem this time with that because we didn't have our grandson along.The food was very tasty, and was delivered to the table very fast. My husband liked his Margarita very much. We enjoy the very tasty salsa and chips.Much to our surprise, we were NOT told the restaurant closes at 9 PM and were asked to leave the restaurant at 9:20 PM right after we paid the check. I was taken back. We have never been asked to leave a restaurant prior to finishing. My husband was still finishing his Margarita.This site says they close at 11 PM. The hours on the door say they close at 11 PM. We were NOT told they were closing at 9 PM when we placed our order.They were putting chairs up on the tables in the bar as we were finishing our dinner. Not at all the experience we had the first time we visited.
