La Casa De Las Flores Restaurant and Bar

Took my gal pal for a little treat as I'm a HUGE Frida Kahlo fan, and I love the mural outside, so I had been looking forward to trying it. The front door to the entry door needs some love...wasn't sure if it was the entrance perhaps they can put a welcome sign or something, so its obvious but inside! Wow, so cool! Nice photo opportunities, and it's huge and very inviting! Great place to have a party or go dancing they have live music and dance classes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area you eat in is casual but the food is so delicious . I ordered the enchiladas suizas, which I subbed shrimp for chicken. It was what my server suggested. The rice is amazing, beans too! I had two cocktails, the mangonada margaritas, and one I don't remember. The name had an orchid in it. Both were BOMB! I will be back and happy I stopped in!

I'm a little sad. Have always loved this restaurant. Okay, the mole chicken enchiladas still rock, and the kidlet loved his cheese enchiladas (from the "grownup menu") although the red sauce tasted like doctored tomato soup.Alas, there have been some changes. A new menu was a plus. But, the service was lackluster. And for the life of me, I cannot see how they stay in business with so few diners. It's practically empty every time we go. Are we missing something?The final straw. Worst margaritas ever on this last visit. Our server said they "switched tequila brands." Well...they tasted as if there was no tequila in them at all. Egad! Sacrilege! I've had a stronger glass of water.Guys and gals (and owner), please get it together. We miss the old place.

The food and drinks are just okay. We expected more based on the social media videos our friend from Tucson kept eyeing. The staff wasn't willing to make any changes to the taco options. I'm a yes person and everything was no. The hostess was kind and asked if we wanted a picture of their wall while we were standing by the entrance. Would have given three stars if everything wasn't a no. I rarely ask for changes just wanted different meats for the tacos versus just one for all three.

Welcoming ambiance. Live music was great and not distracting or too loud. Service was excellent! Food was delicious! I had the mixed fajitas and my wife had the steak burro. We both really enjoyed our meals. For mine, the chicken, steak and shrimp were each very good. Shrimp had good texture, nice and meaty. Chips and red and green salsas ahead of time were also really good. I like spicy food so asked and they brought me an extra hot salsa. It was great on its own but also perfect to drizzle on the fajitas and mix into the other salsas. Highly recommend!

In regard to my recent pick-up order, I opted for the 3 taco plate. The accompanying chips and rice, while satisfactory, left room for improvement. The green tortillas, although possessing a pleasing flavor, were notably thick in texture. On a more positive note, the salsas were a standout, and the quality of the steak was commendable. While my overall dining experience was good, it fell short of achieving greatness. I remain open to revisiting the establishment to explore additional items on the menu. Service and ordering process was good.

First time visiting, and we will be back! The outside is in a strip mall with a nicely painted mural and the inside is decorated beautifully and whimsical. Service was great, we sat at the bar. The chips and salsa to start were great. We ordered a cheese crisp with chilies, it did not disappoint. Perfectly melted cheese and a good crunch the Anaheim Chilies added a nice flavor. It was also served with a small plate of guacamole, creama & Pico! We ordered shrimp tacos and the El Mamalon Burrito! Both plates tasted fantastic. The burrito was enough for 3 meals, but sadly I forgot my to go box, I'm still mad at myself! The bar has a nice selection of beverages the Michelada was tasty!

La Casa de las Flores is a full-sized Mexican food restaurant, bar, and event hall. Inspired by a floral theme, the name means The House of Flowers. They have a beautiful flowery mural on the outside of the restaurant. I ordered the Sopa de Verduras and Enchiladas Suizas for my meal. Despite being short-staffed when I was here, my server was nice and I found the Enchiladas Suizas to be quite tasty.

Amazing service and Aesthetic! Definitely a place to celebrate your occasion! On weekend they have an open floor for dancing. Recommend the mole and Barria tacos!

Good food but the service lacked a bit. Complementary chips and salsa. The salsa is fresh. Got guac and it was delicious. Got the 3 taco plate. Got 2 carne asada tacos and a chicken. It was good.

If I am able to press 0, I would! Let me me tell you why...The lady upfront was super nice but the waiters were kinda rude. The person that brought out the chips was rude and made us move the table decor around instead of him moving it. If you are paying for over $60 bucks for small portions meals, then you should be able to move the items yourself not the customers. He could have at least say hello my name is whatever it was. The table also was small and not spacious enough. The food was horrible, dry, unflavored and water down! I don't understand how you are Hispanic people and can't make decent Hispanic food, the only reason why I say that, because the waiters speak Spanish only which is fine. I ordered the "El mamalón" girl don't get me started on that. The tortilla was soggy as fuck, so I don't know if the salsa rojo was on the tortilla for a while or if they did not cook the tortillas all the way. The carne was DISGUSTING, was unable to chew the carne at all. That is a coughing hazard for sure, so if you have sensitive teeth, than for sure don't order this. My boyfriend however said his tacos tasted dry, plan. He was give two small little container that had rice and the other one had beans, girlllll !! No, it was bad. Rice had no flavor and the beans look scary looking so I did not even eat any. My boyfriend is way less picky when it comes to food and he said the beans tasted nasty and did not eat them either. He tried my my food and he got disgusted right away, we dont even have 30 minutes since left the restaurant and our stomachs hurt. Final the alcoholic beverage that was recommended was just straight up juice, and at first I thought Mabye the alcohol taste is hidden like usual. I typically don't drink, so with one drink with vodka in it, will get me. 0/10!
