La Bamba Mexican Grill Restaurant

La Bamba was absolutely amazing.This was our first visit to La Bamba but it's definitely not our last. If you're looking for delicious food, great service, and a relaxing and unique atmosphere, look no further this is the place for you. On this visit we shared chips/salsa an the al pastor, carnitas, carne asada, fish, and birrias tacos and we all agreed the tacos were great if not the best ever! The meats were lean, moist, and flavorful, and these tacos weren't skimpy, they were loaded. The best tacos! Everything is delicious and the owner is very welcoming, as is the rest of the staffLa Bamba Mexican Grill is a must-try for anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. Generous portions, flavorful entrées, and spot on service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, stop in, this place will not disappoint.

If you want super fresh and made to order street tacos, you got to visit this place. Chef Edson Garcia is a one man show, the whole place is all about him and his kitchen. You just need some patience while he does his magic. We have been here twice and both experiences were great.1st trip: we tried Carne Asada, Carnitas and Pollo, Bamba styles. All are delicious especially the fresh grilled chicken. It is so so good where you don't need to top it with anything else like hot sauce, salsa, yadi yadi. We order 3 tacos per person. All the tacos were loaded with toppings so it made the tacos extra tasty. 2nd Trip: we tried fried fish, grilled fish, shrimp, and chicken. The fried fish were on the soggy side but still tasty. My favorite were the grilled fish and chicken. Shrimp was good but it was a little bit overcooked. I managed to chow down 4 tacos while my husband and son chow down 10 each! A total of 24 tacos. Yes, we broke the record per the chef. The chef even made a video of it after we emptied our plates. I personally think we ordered too many tacos because the chef had to squeezed 12 tacos on one long cheese board. Making it difficult to add the toppings and sauce. One of my tacos literally had no toppings and sauce because he totally missed it. I had to ask for extra sauce. It was still good but not the same. I would have ask for the toppings if the chef was not busy serving other customers. I highly recommend if you ever trek it out to El Mirage.

THE best tacos in Arizona. Hands down.The meat is beyond juicy and falls apart in your mouth. All the toppings and sauces are made fresh. It is so worth the wait! My favorite way to get my tacos is Bamba style. Nothing quite like the chopped pineapple--I'd never had it before and it is out of this world! It doesn't matter what part of the state or country you're from--La Bamba's is worth the trip.

SO GOOD. Tiny place inside, only the owner was there, cooking and handling it all. There wasn't an official menu, but he said we could get 6 or 8 tacos with a variety of meats (we did 8). We also got the horchata and the sopaipillas for desert. Everything was delicious, and the owner was very nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back, he said this weekend marked their 6 year anniversary, and they'll be getting a new expanded menu. Go check it out!

Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Very friendly people, welcoming signs on the wall, balloons everywhere just for fun. I haven't even tried the tacos yet! A friendly young woman offered me a taste of their fresh watermelon juice with a splash of pineapple juice drink: delicious! She says everything here is fresh!In the entire USA, La Bomba was voted number 25 best tacos! He is the Taco King!

Edson and his staff make the best tacos, provide the best service, and always make my wife and I feel like family!!!From the elotes, pińa and horchata agua frescas, carnitas, al pastor, bistec, and camarones tacos, to the mini sopapillas, EVERYTHING was, as always, was absolutely AMAZING!!!I cannot say enough good things about La Bamba Tacos... you REALLY NEED to pay Edson and family a visit, and enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere!!!

This is a 5 star restaurant only issue is I have been here many times when they are supposed to be open but they are not. I get it but it's happened so much that the people from work I want to bring here don't want to take the chance of going here and the door is locked so it has been getting vetoed. That said when open the food here is amazing. Like I said 5 star. Top 3 places for tacos in all of Phoenix. The restaurant is small so big groups are hard which is a bummer because I often travel with groups of 10 from out of town that want to try the best Mexican food they can because they are from Michigan.

La Bamba has the Best tacos that I've ever had in Arizona. Edson and his daughter run a great ship, as they used to say, for a small restaurant. The menu isn't huge, but fresh, fresh, fresh.The Non Fried taco shells are my favorite. Ask for "No Oil" and Flour tortillas, the Laveen Way, Edson will understand....lolAlso ask for extra green salsa topped with the white seafood salsa, topped with light red hot salsa with Pico di Gallo. The freshly made Sadia, "Watermelon", is delicious. Talking about desserts, the freshly made Sopapillas are Killer. If you don't try this Taco place, you will regret it. The reviews on Yelp brought us up to El Mirage to try La Bamba and we were not disappointed! The folks here are helpful and friendly every time we came by, even when they're packed with patrons.We have sampled the Camarones, Pollo and Pastor Tacos and the are all out of this world. Be sure you get the tacos "Bamba" style, which is a bit larger and Cheese. The place has only 4 tables and the counter and it fills up quickly. All in all, this is one of our favorite Taco places in the area!
