Fresh tasting food. Recommend the basil salad rolls. Attentive servers who dressed in nice uniforms that fit the ambience. Ample parking. This seems to be a good spot to use for casual dining when you are looking for something on the healthier side. Next time I want to try their vegan ice cream options (:

I've been meaning to try L'Thai for years but wasn't motivated to do so until YumYum Thai closed. We did take out and my review has accounted for the fact that it's ~5 minutes away. Pros: organic veggies, good variety of veggies (cabbage, green beans, carrots, squash and zucchini, broccoli).*gluten free (GF) options*everything can pretty much be made vegan by choosing tofu*batter fried GF options (so m such a novelty), *Chinese influenced dishes that are also GF (soy sauce is not GF)*Fried summer rolls were perfect, the dipping sauce has a little kick and is a great texture. Very crispy and very fresh tasting filling*coconut soup is delicious. A little weird that it's raw tofu in the soup, but I like tofu so... ask for it cooked if you want it fried. The broth is perfection. *cashew tofu dish was tastyCons: the serving sizes are about 2/3 of the size other local Thai places serve, though the price point is the same (but not organic).*The tempura veggies were a little underfried (not golden like the rolls) and very very oily as if perhaps the oil temp was a little low. If these were fried better, they would be amazing. Nice selection of veggies: green beans, bell pepper, squash and zucchini, carrots, broccoli. This dipping sauce is tasty too - light and sweet. *Pad thai was just so-so. It's missing the tamarind and umami component. Hoping it will be better leftover. * sweet and sour tofu was ok. The sauce is sweet, but not sickly so. The pineapple and veg were really good. I think the tofu should be a little smaller since it's unseasoned and depending entirely on the sauce for flavor. I might get it again. I might not. I do look forward to eating in one day to try their housemade vegan ice creams!

My recent visit to L'Thai was truly an exceptional experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and the ambiance of the restaurant was nothing short of phenomenal. It exuded a warm, homely atmosphere, yet it also carried an incredible vibe that added to its authenticity. Initially, there was a minor hiccup as I tried to enter the restaurant. Despite the restaurant being open, the door seemed locked. However, I soon discovered that the door was just a bit challenging to pull open. Inside, I noticed that I was probably the youngest patron among the 12 to 13 people dining that evening. Most of the diners were in their upper 50s to 60s, and they shared their years-long loyalty to the place, attesting to its amazing qualities. For my beverage, I opted for a Thai iced tea with almond milk instead of dairy, which felt just right. The only drawback was that it had quite a bit of ice, but that's something I'd adjust next time.As for my appetizer, I went with the stuffed escargot. They were served in a mild curry sauce, nestled in mushroom caps, and topped with julienne kaffir lime leaves and sweet peppers. They were incredibly tasty, and I devoured them in no time. For my main course, I decided to try the crispy basil duck. It was prepared with fresh chili, basil leaves, mixed peppers, and a basil garlic sauce. The duck was sautéed with snow peas, and it was unlike any duck dish I'd ever had before. It was truly amazing, and being a duck lover, I was thoroughly impressed.I would absolutely return to L"Thai, as their menu is extensive, and the descriptions of their dishes are so enticing that I'm eager to try more. If you're in search of an authentic Thai restaurant with both an inviting ambiance and delectable food, L'Thai should definitely be on your list.

People miss some great food because they are so concerned with aesthetics. While this place isn't all looks, the food is absolutely delish! Service was spectacular, and the decor is adorable. Really like the tree in the center of the restaurant. Couldn't give a 5 star because I ordered a pad thai to go to have the next day, and they forgot the shrimp I paid extra for

I was delicious!! We came on a week day for lunch, in December (late on my review lol.) I've eaten at one of their sister restaurants in Smyrna- also good. The man who helped us- I think the owner, was very sweet and helpful, funny, and friendly. I love that! He passionately told us all about this seasonal soup they have for the winter months. I believe it was called "cold away", or "cold be gone".. something like that lol. It's a medicinal, healing soup, made with tons of fresh ginger and turmeric, and other herbs and spices. I believe it also had squash and carrots and other things but can't remember-- just remember how amazingly delicious it was, and you could FEEL it healing you!!! Like I may heal all my issues if I ate this every day lol. Cold buster soup, for sure!! We both loved it!! I'd go back just for that. I asked him if he'd make a big batch for us to take to go sometime lol. We ordered the fresh spring rolls w peanut sauce. Exceptionally good and fresh- many healthy veggies and sauce was great. I always order green curry places. I just love it, and all the veggies that come in it. Theirs was great, and I love that you can choose brown rice. Everything is organic and made for health. It makes these restaurants (the sister ones included) so special. Grateful they exists. Delicious, healthy food!

I decided to try this place around lunch. It was very clean and relaxing inside. I was lucky, no one else was in the restaurant other than two people who were leaving. So service was excellent, and the food came out promptly. For lunch I ordered the chicken panang curry. It was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. To go, I ordered the red curry beef, sticky mango rice, and vegetable Tom Yum soup. If you're looking for a sweeter taste, I would suggest the red curry versus the panang. Everything was excellent, but the Tom Yum soup lacked flavor. I've had much better, that's the only reason I took off a star. Definitely a place I would try again!

We just ate the most delectable meal at L'Thai. The giant Panko-crusted Basil Rolls were perfectly full, fresh and crispy. Everyone who said they didn't need an appetizer gobbled them down! The Red Curry was deeply flavorful--both spicy and smooth. We get extra vegetables because they are so good. The broccoli is organic, fresh, deep green, and perfectly crisp. The Tom Kha soup is spicy, fragrant, and also filled with fresh vegetables. It's beyond flavorful!! I meant to share it but I could not stop eating it until it was gone. The Pad See Ew vegetables were also fresh and crunchy. You can really taste the vegetables. We got soft tofu with that dish. Delicious. One guest got the chicken fried rice. It's a giant dome. He loved it. I honestly can't believe how good this meal was. I want to come back tomorrow. Thank goodness we have leftovers. But why am I surprised. We have been coming to L'Thai for at least 16 years. The dishes are always made from fresh organic vegetables and herbs. Everyone in our family loves it. It is 1000% more flavorful than the same Thai dishes elsewhere because it is fresh. I'm so grateful for L'Thai. It just gets better!!!

I came here after my mom and sister ranted about their snapper. When you first enter you can tell the place is dated but I didn't rule it out. There was just my table and another. I found the food came out very slow and was small portion sizes (minus the fish). The reason we came was for the fish but it smelled sour. My mom and sister claimed it wasn't like this last time they came but this time it had a sour smell. We decided to leave the fish alone after a few bites. The green bean chicken was oily and chewy. I must say the waiter was polite. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I've had better Thai food at several restaurants in metro Atlanta area. It could have been a bad first visit for me but even my family who was ranting and raving about the place was disappointed.

The food was delicious and so lovely to have a nice little bottle of Beaujolais for a good price with my incredible meal. So many appetizers to try, but ordered fried basil rolls and chicken satay, both were delicious. The Massaman curry with shrimp was creamy and flavorful. Hope to return soon!
