KW Korean BBQ

Great new place in Burien, just steps away from The library. Super convenient along restaurant row. The place is super clean and inviting. We sit down and get the order it. We opted for the all you can eat and they went to gather the plates. They invited us to first hit their Banchan bar and it was a hit! Their kimchi was fantastic and along with bean thread and fish cake. The broccoli needed a few moments more in the steamer as it just appeared raw. Just a detail. The food and portions were awesome, we got the everything menu which I questioned as that is the most expensive offering and I don't remember getting a choice. So when the bill came of course the higher price was on there. I questioned and the host said that we do not offer the basic buffet at lunch time on the weekends. For the life of me I went back and looked for the verbiage. But could not see it anywhere, but posted everywhere were both options. It was a miss nonetheless and it could've been me. In the end now I know what I m up against and count the moments until we can get back to Burien for the KW Korean BBQ. One last thing the owners were so nice and welcoming into their new place go enjoy some of the best BBQ In WA.

Visiting on a trip here and stumbled across this place, what you get and pay for is such a deal

I stopped by on a Monday night. The atmosphere was super cozy and decore simple. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Parking was easy as there was plenty of street parking available. We all did AYCE and ordered a soybean soup too. For the price, I think it was a good deal as most AYCE KBBQ in the Seattle area charges $50+/person. The marinated meats were quite sweet but I really enjoyed the thin sliced brisket. I do wish there was more banchan available at the sides/salad bar!

Was so glad that a Korean spot finally opened up in burien. Nice and clean interior. The grills were modern and had built in fans so the inside of the restaurant wasn't filled with smoke. Went for lunch and was such a great deal at 21.99/person. Service was excellent. Our waitress was so attentive and quick with the meats and making sure we had everything we needed. The unlimited side dish bar is what sets this place apart and the quality of the meats were also surprising for an AYCE bbq. The marinated meats and most of the side dishes were on the sweeter side so we stuck to pork belly and brisket. Would def come back when the bbq bug hits again

I was pleasantly surprised for the good Korean barbecue. It was a fun environment being able to cook our own dinner. The beer was cold, and the food tasted great. What more can you ask for when it comes to a good night with friends.

+ Amazing Side dish quality, spicy kimchi, cucumbers, etc.+ Great meat quality for the price.Things KW can do to make it better:- Invest more in the decor, the inside of the restaurant is too bright and feels cheap. Maybe go with a darker wall color and better lighting.- Please make available at every table, the salt+pepper+sesame oil combo. Every Korean restaurant has this sauce available, I should not need to ask for it :^)

I am so happy there's a Korean BBQ just down the road from my home here in Burien! The food is really delicious & the prices are some of the best for AYCE. I could eat their brisket & pork belly all day long.I love that there's a banchan buffet where you can help yourself to whatever you'd like. It's far less wasteful because you can load up on everything you like & leave what you would rather pass on. My personal favorites are their kimchi & the potato salad.The servers are so nice & attentive. We brought our 8 month old with us for lunch on Saturday & they were so sweet with him, too! One even asked if there's anything he would eat, offering to get us something (he ended up eating a little of my rice & a small piece of pork belly).This place is super casual & comfortable, which is just the way I like it.

Decided to give this place a try since it's only a 5 minute drive from our house. It's $34.99 for an adult AYCE which is quite pricey. For me, a restaurants side dishes will make or break my Korean bbq experience. They had a cute little mini side buffet which was ok. Everything tastes fresh but definitely lacked flavor. The best side dish was probably their sweet potatoes and that's about it. As for the meat, I would rate it a 5 star for the freshness of the meat. You can just taste the difference. Their bulgogi marinate was a bit too sweet for my liking. They also had. A "spicy LA kalbi", which is definitely unique. The kalbi was not spicy btw. Just tasted like any other marinated short ribs. The service was alright and we went around 8pm. There were about two other families there so service should've been better. Overall, KW would not be my first choice for Korean bbq. I would rather make the drive out to Federal Way or to Airrang in Lynnwood to get more bang for my buck.

The all you can eat option is so worth it! Kalbi ribs were marinated well and thick and juicy!

It's all you can eat for $21.99!!! Meats are delicious and the sides are get-it-yourself buffet style. Enjoyed the brisket and bulgogi. And highly recommend the mashed potatoes and fish cakes!
