Fresh fish and extremely fast service. I was in and out within 5 minutes, with 2 other customers ahead of me. The chirashi bowl was served with perfectly chilled rice which my wife loved. The spicy ahi tuna poke bowl was served with warm rice and had the perfect amount of spice. Both meals were filling, and the total bill was $30. I need to go back and try their other fish options!5 outta 5

Came here during my lunch, and I absolutely mopped my poke bowl lol. I'll for sure come back and try their other mixes and the chirashi bowl! Really good and can tell that it's fresh. The price is super reasonable with a generous portion + toppings. Service was fast for me to have my 30-40 minute lunch considering the drive :)

Kuzma is the best fish-first poke place around Seattle there I've tried. Period. There are other solid spots, which are comparable, especially if you take into account sides. However, if you're thinking fish-first, then this is the place to go. That being said, the poke offerings may be a bit limited to some, because I believe they only offer traditional soy-based Ahi Tuna, Spicy (mayo) Tuna, and Salmon poke. Despite the (maybe) limited offerings, Kuzma is fantastic. In addition to above, we appreciate that they'll make gluten-free ahi (or Salmon) poke to order, so you're not limited (or restricted) to what you can order. We're fans of Ahi Tuna poke and this place is great. I could maybe use a touch more salt to round of the flavors, but that's nitpicking. It reminds of Hawaii, the quality of the poke/fish and the sides that are in the different the refrigerators too. The price and the quality are honestly unrivaled in the area. In addition to the poke, there's a fantastic selection of fish, shellfish, and other fare that you won't find at most local grocery stores, and if you do it'll be marked up and not as good or quality. This is a gem.

In shortA dedicated fish market with some specialty items, decent prices, and great fresh selection. In longThis isn't as famous as some of the markets in town, but the family has been in the seafood business forever and ever. I've been coming here for years now, and I honestly have no idea why I have never gotten around to rating it. It's right near 99, so it's super easy to get to, but even being a block off that thoroughfare makes it feel almost secluded. You see a medium-sized commercial building with big sturdy metal garage doors rolled up, and probably a stream where water has been draining out. They take care of the stock here. There are big open tanks of shellfish when you walk in. Plenty of fresh water cycling over them. They have live crabs, which they'll help ya with. The bivalves you can scoop yourself with the little baskets. The display case in back has tons of fin fish cut into filets and steaks. Prices are often lower than supermarkets, with slightly better quality. Some big-box stores might beat them on price here and there. They offer tons of poke made in house, side dishes, and quite a few sashimi-grade cuts in the case. I see quite a few folks who look Japanese every time I shop here. This week we picked up seaweed salad, some rad smoked salmon garlic dip, and a great filet of Copper River sockeye. I'm already craving all of them again. This is one local business I am always happy to support even if it's an extra stop.

AMAZING sashimi & options! BUT this place really needs to work on a faster check out system. I came in around 2pm usually & They get bottlenecks & if you want to grab something quickly from the fridge and check out, you might wait an extra 20-30 minutes in line because of the people ahead of you who have lots of requests!

Years ago, I was desperately looking for a poke place in Edmonds. At the time, my only option was Costco. We have a lot more options in 2023 but back then, options were scarce and that made my life miserable as my idea of happy hour is having a beer with poke with my dear friends and family. When I first discovered Kuzma's, I was surprised that their poke price was cheaper than Costco. I was also delighted to see a variety of fresh seafood offerings. And their poke was wonderful. It is not lavish nor fancy with colorful toppings or garnish. It is just pure simple poke. In Hawaii when I was growing up, we always went to the local grocery markets or fish markets for poke, before all the poke shops opened everywhere. And the simple, delicious poke with minimal seasoning and additives is what I am used to. And I found that at Kuzma's. Their selection of poke is minimal and they keep making their poke very simple, wonderfully delicious, and surprisingly affordable.I also love their fresh hamachi, surf clams, king salmon, and oysters. I love their smiles as they help each customer. Thank you, Kuzma's Fish Market, for being in Edmonds!

I was hit with childhood memories as I pulled up to the parking lot. For there was the Croatian owner with a big smoker, cooking fish. I am Croatian and my grandfather would always cook salmon for us for lunch this way. Haven't had fish cooked this way in a very long time. Brought tears to my eyes of sweet memories. Entering, was hit with such an incredible amount of seafood. Live tanks with crab and lobster. Large variety of oysters. Once I saw the steelhead candy, I had to get some. So delicious, had to open it and eat it in the car. Brought some home for my friend. He declared it fish crack, as he could not stop eating it. The Japanese fish influence is strong here. Had to get some of the best poke and salmon sashimi I have ever had. Their specialties :Kuzma's own BakalaKuzma's own Kasuzuke black codBranzinoSardinesTakoHamachiMaguroUnagiIkuraTobikoHiyashi wakame (seaweed salad)Coming back to try more. In talking to the owner, he comes from the same island part as my grandma in Croatia. I base my rating on the quality and variety of seafood. Extra invisible star in my heart for bringing up childhood memories. https://kuzmasfishmarket.com/services/

My boyfriend mentioned he found a 'new' poke place for me to try when I visited as he loved it, especially the spicy tuna poke they had! So of course I had to make a trip here when I visited. It's located hidden away in an 'industrial' area on 70th Ave W in Edmonds. There's a parking lot with ample stalls. When arriving, my friend and I were kind of confused to whether we were at the right place as it was in a warehouse LOL. But upon entering, we saw that the fish display case. In addition to the Spicy Tuna poke, my friend and I ordered the Salmon Poke and Smoked Salmon Garlic Dip. The spicy tuna poke from here had an amazing flavor! It wasn't too mayo-y and was surprisingly VERY spicy. I had to drink a lot of water when I was eating it. The only "downside" (not really to me) was the tuna wasn't fresh. The batch I got was frozen tuna ('fresh made') which necessarily doesn't bother me as the flavor was what I was like looking forward to. An FYI that 'Fresh Made' does not equal 'fresh fish' unless the sign states 'Fresh ___', I believe. The salmon poke was also good - definitely much fresher than the tuna. It wasn't as flavorful as the spicy tuna but had a good amount of seasoning/toppings to bring out the taste of the salmon. The smoke salmon garlic dip was dense and a bit heavy but with soooo much flavor in it. Happy to have been able to try it as my boyfriend said it was one of his favorites from there. The market had a smaller selection of poke to buy by pound or as a poke bowl. In my honest opinion, even though I received frozen tuna, I felt Kuzma's was one of the best place for spicy tuna poke in Seattle in terms of flavor. I really enjoyed all of the items we got without any complaints.

The freshest seafood you can hope for with convenient opening hours. We had the chirashi and poke bowl, accompanied by a squid salad. Everything was amazing. Service was friendly. Lots of customers bought seafood for hi one use. They also sell shashimi grade fish, crabs, oysters, and more. If I lived in Seattle, I would come here multiple times a month. Great place!!
