I love how you can change the noodle width. The braised noodle soup is my go-to and the brisket is always so tender. You could inject the broth straight into my veins and I think it would make me a superior human being.Service is typical and very quick. The restaurant in general is quite modest but in my opinion it is part of their allure of authenticity. They're known for their ramen, but their fried rice is the best in Tempe for sure.

Overall a 3.5/5 stars. We've been looking for a hand drawn noodle restaurant replacement ever since our favorite closed down last year. We would have never found this place if it weren't for some word of mouth. As others have stated, don't let the name fool you. It's not a Japanese ramen place! It should be "lamian," which is the Chinese word for noodles. You will only find Chinese staple dishes here (not American Chinese takeout style). The restaurant is super clean and the staff are gentle and kind. I appreciated how one employee helped me package our leftovers :)Portions are HUGE! One dish could easily become 2-3 meals for a single person.I ordered the Chicken Stir-fried Noodles with the default thickness of noodles. The flavor was good, but way too salty for me. Noodle texture was fine. It was also a bit greasy. My partner got the Lanzhou Noodles with thin noodles. I really enjoyed his dish. The seasoning was just right (still a touch too salty for me, but I am more salt sensitive). I kept asking for more spoonfuls of his broth. Something that I don't mind, but my partner does: the dish does mostly come with fattier and collagen heavy pieces of meat. We think Kungfu Ramen excels more with their noodle soups, so we plan on coming back to try their other noodle soup dishes and appetizers.I would not say Kungfu Ramen is a replacement for some of the beloved hand drawn noodle places that have come before it, but it is still solid enough for us to give it another chance.

The soup! I think about the hot and sour soup multiple times a week, I CRAVE it. Everything thing I've tried has been delicious. The Mongolian beef is the best I've had. I highly recommend the fried pork buns as well. Definitely try this place!

I've been a couple of times. Soooo good! The food is absolutely amazing. No complaints here. And my favorite appetizer was the buns. Everyone is so nice and service is great.

This place was good. It tasted a lot of pho to me, which I dont mind because I like pho. The ambience is okay and the service was good.

This place has very good food. I used to frequent it a lot more but now every time that I have tried to go back the line is literally out the door. Wait times can very but its usually 1hr plus. The food is freshly made and it has always tasted great. The service is good and employees were always friendly. Portions are big enough to share and prices are reasonable. They offer dine in and to go options and the menu has a wide variety of foods. If you are in the area and looking for some good food, look no further and give this place a try!

Had issues with DoorDash here - apparently they never got our order in there system even though DD said they did. Got my refund with DD so it was fine.Ended up ordering to-go and got the tomato beef noodle soup and dumplings. The noodle soup was just OK - oddly very sour/tart compared to any tomato beef noodle soup we've ever had, so we didn't really like it. The steamed dumplings were just OK.Probably won't return but they are quite popular for other items, give it a try and decide for yourself.

This place is solid. The XLB are big. I wish they were soupier inside and that they were served with julienned ginger also but still good. The spicy cumin lamb over hand pulled noodles are also recommended... Those noodles... Perfectly al dente chewy and tasty... And the lamb was sliced thin and nicely flavored. You'll have leftovers!

Omg...this place is a hidden gem or something. It wasn't too busy but the food and service were really good! I LOVED the sauce noodle which had a tomato flavor. Though the sun was shining pretty brightly on the seats since the tables were close to the wall which was entirely glass.

Kung Fu Ramen is a wonderful asian eatery that features handspun noodles with many traditional Chinese food items. The diner and takeout spot, though misnamed, is tasty, spacious, reasonably-priced, open late, and well staffed.First, let's be clear, this is not a ramen house. In fact, no ramen is made or served here. Despite the misnomer, this is a chinese restaurant. The distinctive is that it features dishes with all handmade noodles and dough. From excellent pork soup buns to stir fry to chow mein to traditional dishes, all the noodles and dough made locally features highly in their dishes. And it tastes very good as a result. The dishes are typically grouped items you would expect to find in an authentic chinese restaurant. Especially nice is the extensive list of soups, which again feature excellent noodles. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are substantial. You will not feel hungry leaving this place. The dining area is spacious and open. The staff is kind, fast, and efficient. I arrived late in the evening and was still treated and served well, though it was at the end of the evening. The staff was gracious and explained their dishes, and served the food hot (I mean hot!) and fresh to the table. If you like excellent noodles, this diner will come as a nice location to try some dumplings, buns, soups, and noodle dishes from a collection of well-known Chinese food favorites. I will return!
