Kum Kang San Korean BBQ

First time visiting Kum Kong San. We got there right when it opened. Plenty of parking in the lot. Service was very friendly and quick.We ordered the seafood pancake, B5 (Marinated beef short ribs with soy garlic sauce) B11 (Fresh cut pork belly) and E2 (Stir fried marinated spicy pork meal with rice, soup and side dishes)I love their side dishes. Especially the seaweed dish. The seafood pancake was pan fried to crispy. Lots of scallions which I love. There are no bell peppers in there (in case you don't like peppers like me. I've had some where they have that and it's just yuck haha). The pork and beef was very fresh. The beef short rib wasn't overly salty at all and had a good flavor to it. I would recommend getting both meat dishes. If this is your first time trying Korean bbq, I would recommend ordering what I got. You won't be disappointed. The spicy pork meal on a hot plate was also delicious! It has a little spicy kick to it. But not where you are uncomfortable if you don't like spicy foods.And definitely order yourself a bowl of rice! Can't forget about rice! It is extra charge tho.One thing I do like about this place is the vent. It sucks all the smell out. I left the restaurant without smelling like I rolled into a pile of meat. Some Korean BBQ places get very smokey and their vents seems to not work so well and leave you smelling like food afterwards.

I recently discovered and tried a few take-out orders from Kum Kang San Korean BBQ. For the take-out, I tried the pan-fried mackerel, pork backbone spicy stew with potatoes and vegetables, and spicy stir-fried squid with noodles. I checked out the restaurant with friends on a Thursday around 4:15 PM. There are a lot of parking spaces outside, and the inside is also very spacious and clean. I wanted to try their Korean BBQ, but we were told the grilling area was chilly, so we opted out for a non-grilling meal. I got the classic kimchi spicy soup with pork, vegetables, and tofu. The meal was delicious and flavorful! Their side dishes were all so tasty! I could eat the side dishes with rice. My friends also all enjoyed the dish they ordered. The server was also very attentive. She was honestly the best. I wish I got her name! Some of their dishes are on the pricy side, but we live in America. Overall, we had a great time, and I would love to return to try their Korean BBQ.

The service was excellent, both the owner and the wait staff were extremely polite and pleasant throughout the whole meal. The food was beautiful. They have a "honeycomb pork belly" that is a must-have. Also some excellent cuts of beef. The bonchon was very fresh. I believe they've had some ownership turnover of late, but the current owner has this place on the right course.

The food and the service are the best. Especially their meat is the best quality meat I have ever had for kbbq in the entire US. The meat is the bomb please try!!!!

Love love love this place. My aunt brought me here years ago and I've been a regular ever since. I crave the food here all the time and this is one of the few places that I go to at least once a month if not twice. I come here for the solely for the nangmyun. It has a unique taste unlike any other restaurant I've ever had. The broth is so good you don't even need to add anything to it. The best I've ever had. I've also had the yukgaejang here and that was good too. The restaurant has tables and private booths. The style is get similar to being at your family members house and being served here. This place is a hidden gem and I can't stop raving about it because it is one of the best restaurants I go to. The service is very friendly and fast. I definitely recommend coming here!

I was so surprised when I ordered stir fried squid open it. Squid was so tough there were few in it everything, vegetables cut really thick it seems like a person who had never cooked before cut it, maybe chef wasn't there.I ordered ate it several times, but the food was getting different and I couldn't eat it today.I'm so mad I don't want to go again.I threw $25 in the trash.

This place is a must visit!1st time experience with Korean BBq and was absolutely blown away. Pleasant staff and the owner even came over and said hello and asked how everything was!!! Will def visit again! dont sleep on thgis one!

I recently visited Kum Kang San and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their food and service! I ordered a few dishes, but my favorites by far were the non- marinated beef short ribs and pork belly. The sides were also good, with a nice variety of vegetables and sauces to accompany the meat. Overall, I highly recommend this place!!!

This place is incredible. Great service and the meat is high quality. I came here with a bunch of friends and we had a fun time. We will definitely be back again!!
