I was so stoked to find affordable sushi while in Seattle. After the 50% discount the rolls come to about 5 bucks. I also had a hot sake, cause duh I'm getting sushi. The food was good, especially considering the price. Loved the spicy tuna roll in particular

The owner is a little rude tbh - but Ku Sushi is a reliable spot for cheap rolls. Everything is 50% off every day :p Inside has a handful of tables so takeout might be a better experience. We got the Volcano scallop, Black Ninja Roll, and Sunrise Roll and were happy with what we got. I think I'd avoid any of the fresh fish and instead go for the sauced up / baked stuff

This is one of my favorite sushi spots as a college student, it's super affordable and still good quality. I've been coming here since I discovered it with my friends during the pandemic, freshman year and now I'm going into my senior year. Ku is owned by a kind Korean grandma who's there every day. There's a mixture of rolls and Korean dishes as well as appetizers and now fried chicken. The rolls are always 50% off which provides a price you just can't beat. The restaurant is really small though which is why I mainly do take out orders. When we went there was only enough for 3 parties (including mine) to sit. There is a surcharge of $0.50 on take out orders and a fee on card payments if it's below $10 to keep in mind. In terms of ambiance I would describe it as homey or an introvert friendly spot. It's generally more quiet and the service is limited. The food comes out very quick and they never skimp on portions with their sushi. Avocado roll: I love avocado, so this roll is a must have every time I come. I think the rice to filling portion is perfect and texture wise the soft avocado works with the chewy seaweed wrapper. vegetable udon noodles: I was craving udon noodles, but didn't really like this dish. The broth was very plain to me and I was expecting more vegetables. I think I'll stick to u:don if I'm craving udon soup instead. My friends liked their dishes a lot as well as they said they said the seafood tasted fresh and was abundant.I've had a few other dishes from here as well like the tofu soup and bibimbap. It was nothing spectacular, but still filling. I would definitely say this place is worth it for their sushi, but would go other places for other food items. It's nice that there's a large menu for options though and I appreciate how the food is always consistent.

I wanted to check this place out because I had heard of the deal that their basic and specialty rolls are always half off. I guess they could also just change the prices on the menu to be half off but the "deal" is good marketing.I called in my order for pickup and it was ready in 10 minutes. One interesting thing I noticed was that 22 out of 27 of their specialty rolls have eel sauce on top. I think eel sauce is delicious but I don't think it's really common to see that on most of their rolls.RAINBOW ROLL ($7) - this was the standard rainbow roll that you'd get at most sushi restaurants. 3/5SOUNDERS ($9) - texturally I wasn't as much of a fan of this one compared to the others mostly because of the tempura flakes. I liked the spicy mayo in it but it also overpowered some of the other ingredients. 3/5SALMON LOVERS ($9) - I would say I'm a salmon lover so I got this. I could've done without the lemon slices on top so I took them off but I enjoyed all the salmon in the roll. 4/5UNIVERSITY WAY ($9) - I also liked this one, especially because of the seared salmon on top. 4/5SOS ($9) - out of the five rolls I got, this was my favorite. I really liked the combo of the shrimp and the spicy tuna. 5/5The total for all these rolls was $48.05 which is a great deal. The sushi was pretty good for a great price and this might be my go-to if I want quick and affordable sushi.

TLDR: quick, casual, great quality, affordableI have gone to Ku about three times now. I love that the sushi and sushi rolls are 50% off. It's great as a sit down place, but they are also very quick to make your sushi rolls if your in a hurry. I once waited less than ten minutes after ordering to get my food and go.SOS:My favorite specialty roll I've tried: it has a great, tasty freshly fried tempura shrimp in the center and salmon on top with a very umami/sweet tasting sauce on top with some avocadoSpicy tuna and spicy salmon roll: they just are overall not too spicy not too standoffish rolls. They're what you would expect in a spicy tuna or a spicy salmon roll. Overall I would continue to come here for affordable, well valued sushi. Id be sure to explore the menu further and come back soon!

I absolutely COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES when I saw all sushi rolls were 50% off???Upon further examination of the menu, I resolved that it must be because the rolls they serve are incredibly small. I STAND CORRECTED. Assuming you get two sushi rolls (both using the 50% off deal) I would say that is more than enough for a decent meal.Overall, the fish tasted quite high quality. The flavors weren't complex or creative enough to WOW me but getting a decently filling meal from a sushi restaurant for $13?!?!?!?!?! The value of that must not be understated!

My boyfriend calls these "white people" rolls and they're pretty good rolls! They're not super authentic Japanese sushi. There's also Korean food options from Korean fried chicken to rice cakes. There's a variety of rolls and flavors. It's a small restaurant so anticipate a wait and sometimes they might kind of rush you out.

The first time I tried Ku Sushi, I had takeout and wasn't that impressed. However, I dined in recently and the rolls were so good! I got the Sounders and SOS rolls, and they were just my taste! My favorite was the Sounders. It is really great for the price and the owners are super sweet. There isn't much seating inside though, so be aware! Would definitely go again!

My brother took me to this spot and it's probably my fav sushi spot in Seattle! The sushi is fresh and good. We did dine in once and the service was good, but mostly do takeout! I've been to a few sushi places around Seattle and this one is probably the best!

A small cramped restaurant with quick service and a LARGE menu of rolls, sushi, Korean food, and appetizers. The service was attentive as there was no one else seated when we arrived at 7 on a Friday night. The rolls were good - the volcano scallop roll was supposedly baked, but I did not notice any real difference between it and a normal roll that isn't baked. The sunrise roll was deep fried and tasted great! The value cannot be beat when it's 50% off rolls everyday. The pork belly with butter sautéed kimchi was delicious, but order it only if you come with someone else as it is pretty heavy and the flavor gets old. Comes with rice as a side and sauce.
