Krungthep Thai Cuisine

Delicious Thai food! I had tofu Tom Yum and my partner had chicken Pad Kee Mao. We split some spring rolls as well. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the menu items were priced very reasonably. The restaurant also looked very clean when I went in to pick up my order. My only criticism is that the Tom Yum had only mushrooms and tofu and no veggies. That was disappointing. The flavor was on point though. Heads up: this place only does takeout orders.

Try their crispy garlic chicken! Absolutely divine. Everything I've had here has been excellent .

This is my favorite restaurant for Thai food. The food is amazing. I moved away 3 years ago, but just recently passed through Seattle. Even though I was only passing through for a day, I made it a point to visit Krungthep while I was there. Also, they have great customer service. Please bring back in room dining!

I love this place, super clean and always prompt with their orders! It's very organized and I've never had any issues here! If you're in the area, please try! Especially the crispy chicken! Owners are sooo sweet and nice!!!

Take out only. I went lookin for lunch on my way to the airport. But it was take out only.

Meh. First we went to the Burien location but they were only doing takeout. They suggested we go to the Normandy Pk one, which we did.The teacups were stained. Asked for clean one, but they were all like that. I know how to get stains out of cups- they should, too.Husband had stir fry dish with meat. I thought the flavors were good but he did not.My Massamun curry had decent flavor but not many potatoes and no peanuts. Decent amount of tofu but not enough chunky bits in general. They did not give us much rice. Small bowls of it. It was edible etc but I'd not go back.

Food was good. I was disappointed in the pad ke mao as I asked for medium spice and there was no spice ( I like spicy). I guess now I know to ask for spicy spicy. Overall pretty good. Spring rolls were big and tasted great.

They now have a sit-down restaurant at the end of the strip mall on 177th and 1st, and YOU NEED TO COME HERE!First, the ambience: the restaurant is nicely decorated and well-lit, and the running waterfall/pond at front is a nice background noise. They also have good music playing, just loud enough to not hear the other diner's conversations but not so loud you CAN'T converse. Second: service is fast, super-friendly and gives you the sense that you're honestly welcome in their restaurant (some places I've been lately it seems like they're either annoyed you've come or just forget about you entirely). Third: THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Doesn't matter what you order - I think it's all delicious...very fresh ingredients, always hot and crispy not mushy like it's been sitting around. Pro tip: if you come at lunchtime, you can order off their entree menu and ask for the lunch special, and they'll give you a plate with rice, phad thai, and a spring roll for the same price (presumably the entree is smaller, but I can easily make the lunch plate into two meals)Seriously, this place will be your new go-to for Thai food. Its wonderful!!

Excellent Thai food. I ordered 3 stars for 2 dishes and 4 for one. Wish I had ordered 5 stars for all - it wasn't as spicy as I feared. This location was takeout only.

I have been excited to try this place. I ordered everything with medium heat. It was just okay. The main thing is everything was bland. I especially was looking forward to the Tom Kah Gai. The broth had a wonderful flavor but it was full of mushrooms. Tons! Very dry chicken and zero color. Maybe their restaurant in NP is better. Disappointing.
