It is a very nice Thai restaurant! The place is small, basic but pretty decorated inside. All the furniture is in very good condition, and every time I go there, the entire place is very clean. The staff is always sweet and friendly, and the service is consistently fast even when the place is busy. The restaurant's menu is extensive and includes all the major Thai dishes. I have tried multiple meals, but my absolute favorites are the Cucumber Salad, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Satay, Chicken Pad Thai, and Pad Khee Mao (which I also like with chicken). Plus, I often order Thai Iced Tea, which is very delicious here. The prices on the menu are reasonable. My final bill is always around $25 for one appetizer, one main meal, and a drink. Portions are big and filling. Sometimes I am completely full just by ordering one main meal like Pad Thai. I have never had any issues with the food at this place. The only negative thing I can mention is the restaurant's size. It is so small that the tables are very close to each other, making it impossible to have a private romantic conversation if the place is busy; it gets super noisy when the restaurant is crowded. Also, because of how tiny everything is, you have to be careful walking around the restaurant, as there is a high chance of bumping into waiters who move around very fast serving the customers. Additionally, the restroom needs to be remodeled as it is outdated. The restaurant's location is great; it is right in the heart of Boystown, Chicago. Because it is open until late hours, many people go there to eat after bars and clubs. I absolutely recommend checking out this place if you are looking to eat Thai dishes.

Trying to give them another chance. But again miserable. Cane in earlier but still denied decent seating over Asian guests. Never asked about a beverage choice so was settled on water only. Rude service and poor delivery. The seaweed salad was nasty. One server was wearing disgusting fishnet dress showing all her goods like she was working the corner outside. Not appropriate at all. They used to be amazing. But recently it's turned to shit. Last chance and they failed. Miserably

Pre-meal: Reservations probably not needed. Street parking available.Room: Nicer than many Thai places.Picture-taking: Can be dark in the back but lots of natural light in the bright front room when it's light outside.Beverages: BYOBMenu: The regular menu has the usual suspects but be sure to check out the special menu that contains some of their best food. Beware as the spice level of items on the special menu cannot be altered!Food: The spicy crispy pork salad from the special menu is a winner! The term salad is a stretch as this is mostly meat but it checks off all the boxes - sweet, sour, spicy, savory, umami, hot, cold, meaty, fatty, chewy, crispy, hot, cold - definitely a party on the palate! The forest papaya salad is also a winner - like a Thai salad bar all on one plate - this one is pretty spicy! The Khao Soy noodles were tasty and the yellow curry coconut soup was satisfyingly rich and thankfully not spicy. Pad Thai and Massaman curry were pretty solid. The Pad Cha crispy catfish was dry and I'm not sure if the fish texture was right or not - would not recommend.Service: Helpful, pretty quick.Price: $$Value: 4 out of 10Summary: Nicer Thai place with great specials that go beyond the usual stuff.

Stunningly good curry. In fact it's some of the best I've had. I was pretty shocked as one doesn't usually think of Thai food and Chicago as going hand-in-hand, but this place is going to please if you're a big Thai fan like me.You can also BYOB, so bring some soju or some other drink of choice that pairs well with this cuisine. We got pork skewers for the table that started us off nicely, and I personally got the green curry with chicken. We all tried different curries and they were equally excellent. The staff were also very friendly and considerate. You owe it to yourself to pay this place a visit!

Best Thai restaurant I had in the state so far. This place was recommended by my Thai coworkers. The food was amazing and authentic. My all time favorite Thai food, papaya salad, was definitely the best dish. The sauce was well balanced with the spice and vinegary flavors. Everything was well marinated and flavorful. Definitely a must ordered dish. My friend and I are not super into meat, but the grilled pork next was highly recommended by our waiter. The grilled pork was not salty or overly oily. However, there's still some fatty meats. I do think it's worth a try, if you LOVE meat then this is definitely your dish. I was super excited to try Seafood Pad Cha, but I think it was just ok among the other dishes. There's a variety of seafood, but it wasn't amazing or as great as the other dishes.Seafood Tom Yum was definitely another best dish we had that day. I'm not a soup person, but I enjoyed this dish very much. There's a lot of seafood in this soup. Again, the soup is well- balanced with the sourness and spices. My friend also tried their Thai Tea and she said it is the best Thai tea she had in town so far. It's not overly sweet and the bitterness is just right. My friend and I loved all the food we ordered. This restaurant is definitely worth a try. The portion and the price is unbeatable in Chicago. The service was excellent, our server was super friendly and gave a lot of great recommendations. He made sure our first experience with the restaurant was great and memorable. The restaurant is not too big, so make a reservation if you're planning to go during the business hours/days. Overall, the restaurant is cozy and a great place to hang out. I would definitely return to have the papaya salad and seafood Tom yum soup again, and try out other options!

Authentic Thai food, can be super spicy if you ask for Medium spice. I tried the massamam curry, basil friend rice, pad see ew and pad khe mao. All super delicious, flavorful and not as oily as other Thai restaurants. The service for pick up was a little slow and I had to wait 30 mins longer than the time mentioned for that reason the owner threw in a Thai iced tea complimentary which was kind. The restaurant is intimate.

We either got lucky and ordered the most delicious items on the menu, or everything on the menu is amazing because we loved all three dishes equally :)The place is relatively small, so the tables are close to each other, creating intimate vibes. Here's what we ordered:Papaya Salad: So good and refreshing! The sourness of the papaya salad opens up your appetite, and it's great to share with the table.Bangkok Wrap: Not sure what I was expecting. The mackerel was crispy and pairs well with the dipping sauce that comes with it.Shrimp Tom Yum Fried Rice: So good. Tom yum flavors in fried rice are so interesting and it works! The shrimps were also jumbo and juicy. We enjoyed our dinner here and can understand why it was so crowded when we visited.

I have walked past this place several times and I know it is a good sign when it is always packed. I went with a friend and they move quickly and service is always super friendly. I ordered the beef salad and the boat noodles and both were amazing! My friend and I shared the crab rangoons and they were super cute and delicious. This was my first good thai restaurant that I've tried in Chicago and I will definitely be coming back. This is a great place to go on a date or just get dinner to catch up with friends.

I would give this place a 3.5Pros:Tasty food. Not amazing, but decent. I had the Pad Khee Mao with Chicken and I asked for it hot/spicy.Cons:* spice was more like a medium instead of hot* had those little corns (wasn't listed as a menu item - I would have asked for it without that)* would have been nice to have some onions instead* service was REALLY slow... took like 30 mins for a stir fry dish. It was fairly busy and I think they were also doing take out orders on a Thursday night.* decor is modern, I would have preferred a little more classic. * Also their driver was the end of the bench I was sitting on in the next section over and had restless leg syndrome or something and was shaking his legs a lot and I thought something huge was rumbling the whole building or a train was passing or something haha... not the end of the world, just caught me off guard.* I paid in cash and gave $20.52 for a $15.52 bill... I asked for singles for change and the server brought $1 back... I guess they heard (single instead of singles). I asked for another dollar and they gave me that.I know there is a big list of cons here, but a lot of these are personal preference things and overall the experience was decent and I think on another night, I would have had about half as many cons.

I called just 30 min in advanced for a party of 6 and they made it happen so that was great. We ordered lots of food and the food was brought out as soon as it was made so we had a steady flow of hot food coming out. Staff was so sweet and accommodating and always checked in on us. I can't bring myself to give a full 5 star, though. The restaurant is pretty cramped and we sat in the back where the door to the kitchen was. The bench seating on the wall leaned forward so I was concerned about it breaking at any point. The food was delicious for the most part, but the tom yum soup seemed very sweet along with some of the other dishes we ordered. Someone in the kitchen was very generous with the sugar.Overall, I really like this place and I think you get a good amount of food per dish. The staff was lovely, too.
