Krua Thai Cuisine

This place is FIRE. it's close to home and very consistent. They are super friendly for sure. Efficient and clean. We don't eat there as it is usually a week night dinner and picked up on the way home from work. So happy they are close. Give it a shot. You can't miss

Stopped by Krua Thai yesterday as we had not been there in a while and were longing for some Thai food. What a disappointment. It's now a self-service, excuse me no service, restaurant. The food is in takeout containers with plastic utensils. My lunch special, the Stir fried Sweet Basil was nothing more than a few, literally, pieces of chicken and green beans, smothered by loads of bamboo strips in brown tasteless soup. Sad, really sad. The only high note was that my husband's pad Thai noodles were acceptable, not great for a Thai restaurant but acceptable. Now we're in search of a new Thai restaurant hopefully in North Phoenix area.

Beware! We came to this restaurant for lunch. This is not a regular dine in order place but mostly order pick up focused. That said, u can still eat in there, with the food served in to go boxes. The ambiance has nice decors, lamp shades and paintings adorning the place. The place is extremely clean and hygienic. We ordered from lunch menu red curry, chicken fried rice and pineapple fried rice. We went with level 3 - Hot. Mind it, we were not alerted about the spice levels here. Level 3 is considered a medium and never extra spicy. But, here it is extremely spicy that you can't feel your tongue again. Two bites and all of us were done. This place was a torture. We didn't enjoy the food, all we wanted was water or something sweet to beat heat. Don't recommend this place and if you do say no spice. This is bad for anyone to eat this kind of spice. Sorry, to say never coming back.

I really like this Thai restaurant but the indoor service has gone downhill since covid. Their sticky rice and all their food is really good.

We love Krua Thai! It's one of our go-to whenever we feel like ordering in. We always seem to order yellow curry chicken and beef or pork pad-se-ew. Their portions are good too.

Pre-Covid this place was my favorite. Post-Covid it's not good. Customer service is terrible, food is OK, and overpriced. We won't be returning. Such a shame.

Stop #13 on our Vegan Summer Journey was an actual delivery pick-up for Krua Thai Cuisine. The wife has been wanting to try this place out for a while now so since the lunch deals are pretty good she decided to order some food online. It worked out really well because it is near an Aldi store that we like to grocery shop at. My wife ordered the Thai Fried Rice with Tofu for me and she had the Pad Thai. I get home with the food to discover that my fried rice had chicken in it instead of tofu. Naturally, I was upset so my wife called and they immediately issued a refund to her card. So, since the customer service was good I decided to keep the rating at 4 stars instead of 3. I don't know if I need to return but the food was good despite the mistake (I removed all of the chicken) and the restaurant itself was very clean. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!

I had an authentic vibe walking in. Having travelled to Thailand for a couple of weeks, I feel like I got a good experience of their culture. Walking into Krupa Thai, I felt like I was back in Thailand in a small restaurant in the first floor of someone's house. Very clean and welcoming. The food was GREAT! Everything we ordered was delicious and was gone so quickly. The only thing, and this isn't a problem, more just a heads up, was the yellow curry is a little spicy. My partner is picky about spice and said it's spicy lol.

I had no idea there was a place like this on this side of town. I wasn't feeling well and thought I would get some hot & sour soup to kill any flu bug before it turned into something awful. I found this place on yelp. Ordered online and picked it up on about 30 mis. Using their online system is the coolest. You get text messages telling you when the food is going to be ready, what your order number is and finally a text telling you it's ready for pick up. I came home and had one of the vegetable rolls it was crispy flavorful and delicious. I ordered the hot & sour soup with shrimp I chose the "very hot" option. I also got the crab fried rice, medium hot. I am kicking myself for not getting the orange chicken. I tried the rice first it was seasoned perfectly with chunks of real crab, sooo good. Then I had the soup there were huge prawns in this flavorful spicy soup. The food was so good, I rarely give out 5 stars because I feel like in order to get 5 stars you have to be perfect. I take into account the ordering process the service and the flavors of each dish. This place hands down hit every spot. I cannot wait to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Excellent fresh Thai food flavorful and delicious. I got take out and it was ready when I arrived with generous portion I was able to have 2 meals. I definitely recommend the food!
