Krazy Kreole

I try and support the food trucks when they come to our complex but this truck is the reason why people don't. The fries tasted like they were days old and warmed up in a microwave and the wings were drowned in sauce to hide the old wings and the catfish tasted old and reheated. What a waste of $17.

They came to my apartment and they had a very limited menu, despite me looking on their website where they had more options. Also their website is very deceiving because the food actually looks edible. I got the red beans and rice and it was cold. There was a lot of beans and not enough rice, and the rice wasn't cooked; it was hard. The beans tasted spoiled, I hope I don't get food poisoning. It was like they warmed the beans and uncooked rice in the microwave and then served it to us 20 minutes later. The one good thing about this food was it made me nostalgic to high school, it reminded me of the food they served at the cafeteria.

The food truck is at the complex today- yay! Simple menu with something for everyone. I am having the fried shrimp. Six nice sized shrimp with a super crispy crust. I'm not a big French fry person but they were deliciously seasoned. I'd order from them again next time they pass through.

Our neighborhood has been coordinating food trucks throughout the summer and we love to support local businesses. This one was very disappointing. Not sure if they lost our online order, but I sat there for an hour waiting, seeing people place orders and receive their food and being told mine was coming. Once it did, the food was very over-salted. My family is from Central Louisiana, so we know Cajun and Creole food, so we're no strangers to seasonings, but this was overdone.

I just bought a Fish Basket from Kraft Kreole, which is parked at No Lable in Katy, Texas atm. BEST fried fish I've EVER had. And that's speaking volumes because fried sea food is my all time fav food.

I got the Pee Paw chicken sandwich and this sandwich actually is seasoned not like other chain places that might think just because there are buns and chicken that people will want it. Really good flavor I am so happy this truck is at Greenway Plaza today and will be watching for them to visit again!

I absolutely LOVED supporting this Black Owner Business. My job has food trucks every other Tuesday and normally I don't like the options, but today Krazy Kreole came and I just HAD to get some since they're normally located downtown. I wasn't quite sure what to order; both the shrimp poboy and shrimp basket sounded appetizing, but I asked the gentleman working and they suggested the shrimp basket. It was $12.99 after tax. Normally they give you a handheld buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready, but they sent me a text message instead seeing that I'm at work. My food was ready in no time and it was hot and fresh. The shrimp basket comes with 6 shrimp and fries with seasoning. The shrimp was delicious! Very crispy and juicy. The fries were hot with the perfect amount of seasoning. It was so good I didn't even stop to try the sauce on the side lol. Overall, I had a great experience with Krazy Kreole. They were polite, professional and the food was great! Hopefully my job can get them to come back, but if not I'll definitely stop by next time in the downtown area! It looks like they had a modified menu so I'm excited to try some of the other items!

Tried them out when they were at b 52 brewery and they were okay. Shrimp basket was meh. The fries weren't cooked all the way. But the crazy fries were spot on! Would deff get those again.

Seriously, the worst food I've had in Houston and the worst fried seafood I've ever had. This truck was at our apartment building tonight. The truck showed up late and offered only 5 items of the full menu the apartment residents had been sent in advance.We had fried shrimp, fried fish and boudin balls. Everything was fried in this thin crunchy coating of what I assume was cornmeal but it was just boring and gritty. The seafood was undercooked. The fish was actually mushy. We split one of the four boudin balls and didn't touch the rest. I'm from the Gulf Coast and have fried shrimp everywhere. These were the worst. My wife couldn't finish hers. Everything cane with "secret Krazy Sauce," which tasted like a blend of mayo, ketchup, a lot of horseradish sauce and some pickle relish. It did nothing to make the food any better. The guy in the truck acted like he'd rather be somewhere else. He didn't even have any bags to help us carry the food back our apartments. I rarely give reviews on anything, especially bad reviews, but the more I sit here having thrown away over $30 just to get sick, the angrier I get about it.
