Krasi is one of my absolute favorite spots in Boston for incredible Greek food, both for brunch and dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is always spot on. It's a popular spot, so reservations are highly recommended and books out!For brunch, I highly recommend the Tsoureki Toast and Avga me Patates, and you can never go wrong with the Pita of the Day (ours was a fantastic red cabbage & feta combo). For dinner, the Dakos salad is refreshing, and the Xtapodi (octopus), Bourdeto (fish of the day), or the Giouvetsi are standout dishes. Be sure to save room for dessert--this time I had the amazing Portokalopita (orange phyllo cake). Having just returned from Greece, Krasi was exactly what I needed to stay connected to both the flavors and spirit of Greece!

3.5/5Came here on a Monday night, didn't have a reservation so sat at the bar with my friend for dinner. It was quite cramped and service was a bit slow because the restaurant was busy, but I didn't really mind as I was catching up with my friend :)We split a bottle of an orange wine which was delicious, and got the feta dip to start. I loved that they give you crispy chicken skin and there was a slight spiciness to the dip. When we finished the chicken skins they gave us sourdough to finish up the dip. We got scallops that came in a yummy stew, and not pictured but the green beans were my favorite! Tasted so fresh and crisp. Lastly we got the lamb shank with orzo--this was just ok it was a bit gamey.

Everything was sublime.T saw this place walking by while we were in town for the weekend and could only grab a 5pm reservation at the bar.... and thank god.Everything was incredible - the vibe, the service, and especially the cuisine. Our server told us it was small plates and family style so order a few dishes. For just the two of us, I actually thought the portions were very decent sized and as usual, we over ordered. My favorites of the night were the KRITHAROTO (orzo, sungold tomatoes, roasted corn, wild mushrooms) and the MAROULI (grilled gem lettuce, pistachio skordalia, fresh herbs, graviera, pickled shallots, mustard ladolemono). Our bar seat was right in front of the open kitchen and it was impressive to see essentially 2.5 guys make all the restaurant's food. I noticed a lot of lamb shank was also coming out but we ultimately when with the MOSCHARI (pan seared flank steak, charred potato yiahni, maidanosalata, bone marrow butter).Everything tasted so good and I could literally see how fresh it was. This is easily one of our new favs in Boston.

Krasi was absolutely delicious! Very busy but that is of course because it is so popular. We were sat at the bar but that was nice because we were able to chat with the staff and see the inner workings of the kitchen. Definitely a cool feature of the space is that the kitchen is cooking right behind the bar and you can watch your food being made. We ordered the tzatziki dip and it is brought out deconstructed and made right in front of you which is a nice touch.

Honestly had an appointment in Newbury St. in the late AM and this was a highly rated tapas place close by that we walked into for brunch with minimal expectations. I was so just pleasantly surprised at how amazing every dish and cocktail was! Everything i didn't try on the menu honestly looked so good as well and I plan to come back with my in laws to try out the rest of it! The service was also phenomenal and the beautiful weather paired with the outdoor seating and amazing food made for a wonderful Saturday afternoon for us! We will definitely be back!

One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while! Stellar service, immaculate vibes and really impressive food. I came here with my boyfriend and his mom before we headed over to a Red Sox game and it was truly the perfect spot for a delicious bite and glasses of wine. Our server recommended 2-3 orders per person so we went with a bunch of items (though I think we could have done without one dish). - Tiropita Rolls: This was such a delicious way to start off our meal. The bread was fluffy, cheesy, and warm.- Htipiti Dip: This was probably the only miss from the menu. It was a strange amalgamation of flavors that we didn't love and the texture was a bit too grainy for my liking.- Marouli: This was the top appetizer for me. Such a well-balanced salad. Incredibly flavorful and loaded with cheese, pistachios, and lots of great textures. - Dakos: This was another stellar veggie/fruit-forward dish. Very refreshing. - Makarounes: This pasta literally tastes like french onion soup! I thought it would be more flavorful and it's a bit on the mild end, but a delicious, light pasta. - Giouvetsi: The lamb was soft and fell off the bone. We really liked that it came with orzo, so we were able to mix it up and enjoy it more as a pasta. - Bourdeto: We were so full by the time this fish came out that I could only have one bite, but I really loved the broth and veggies that this came with. Such thoughtful presentation and flavors in their dishes, and service was amazing throughout our meal. We also got a bottle of wine that was a bit on the tarte side, but they definitely have loads of options for wine lovers. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area again!

Krasi was quite busy on the July Saturday midday we visited. We'd heard wonderful things about it. The indoor seating was all taken, so we chose sidewalk seating which was quite nice. Setting was great. A bit cramped but ok. Our server, named Brook I believe was very good. Not easy going in and out of the restaurant all morning. The food was no great. I got a savory dish that was phyllo sheets filled with 2 types of cheeses. Halloumi and some parmesan. it looked quite appetizing, but was overly salty. Of course the cheese was salty, but additional salt was obviously added. There were herbs in the cheese, also, that seemed to not match the dish. I managed to eat a bit. My daughter got a dish that was basically tomatoes, cheese, foraged mushrooms and grilled sourdough bread. She was not impressed. Said this is something she could easily make at home. The table next to us got 5 entrees and some were beautiful. The yogurt looked amazing with drizzled honey. 2 entrees were just over $60 including tip. To top it off, the bill suggested 3 levels of tips, starting with 20%. And the tip was based on the total including the tax. We felt that was overstepping. Sorry. Can't recommend Krasi.

Krasi should be your next brunch stop in Back Bay! I've wanted to try Krasi for a while and I'm glad I snagged a reservation for the bar area. The restaurant is cute and cozy, with some outdoor seating as well. We split the solomo, lalagites, and patates for brunch. Highly recommend getting the patates and lalagites from these options! The lalagites were super light and the perfect amount of sweet. The patates were fried to perfection with a delicious yogurt dip. The solomo plate was good too but the bread with it was a bit dry. Everyone at the restaurant was super attentive and friendly and all our food came out so quickly. Definitely book a reservation if you're looking for an amazing brunch experience!

Went here for drinks and quick bite so didn't get too much but what we had was amazing. Great wine recommendations from servers and the sommelier really made the experience as all the wines are Greek! I really recommend the steak and the lamb charcuterie. This is definitely a place that meets its reputation, so get that reservation while it's available. Great atmosphere, very intimate.

Krasi in Back Bay is one of the top rated restaurants in Boston which has been on my to go list for years and I only made it there very recently! It's also the number one Greek restaurant in Boston on Yelp and ranked very highly on Beli. I got to go last Thursday with a reservation at 9 PM. I was sat right away in a small booth by the window which was a great spot for two since it was isolated and had a nice view outside. To start we got the tzatziki which they make right in front of you and our server whose name I forget was so helpful and gave us some orange wine recommendations. I have a photo of the bottle it was "a-grafo" and was recommended as a light bodied orange wine and it was quite nice. Tzatziki was great although I wish it came with pita and not sourdough. Our server recommended 4-5 dishes for 2 so we got the mushroom risotto, patates, pork souvla, and flank steak in addition to our tzatziki. The mushroom risotto was AMAZING and it was not a traditional risotto but seemed to be made with orzo so it was less heavy than a regular risotto. The little mushrooms were so good as well as the little crunchy chips it came with. The greens were more for decoration but a little bitter. Loved this dish! The next was the pork souvla which was my favorite meat of the two and it comes a la carte with some lemon. I love pork and this was so flavorful. The patates were to die for; a bit heavy because they are breaded and fried and come with a bernaise(?) sauce which was so creamy and went perfectly with the potatoes. The one dish I would skip is the flank steak because it was a little chewy not very tender, and the potatoes and onions it came with in this red sauce were a bit too sweet flavored. But, I love the green sauce it came with it kind of reminded me of chimichurri. To end the night, we got a dessert wine recommendation which was the muscat wine. I did not realize how different Greek dessert wine was from Italian so I expected it to be light and fruity, but it was strong and had a honey/raisiny flavor, an interesting but pleasant surprise. It paired perfectly with the phyllo orange cake with ice cream. Krasi really wowed me and I am so happy I finally got to experience it! I never go to upscale Greek restaurants but Krasi is an excellent choice if you're looking for nice Greek wines and foods. Our server was wonderful and knew every detail about the wines and food. The food menu is on the smaller side but pretty much every dish we had blew me away with the incredible quality and flavor. Highly recommend!
