Krab Kingz Tacoma

Check in and was offered a free crab cake with our order. We arrived early clise to the opening time. We decided to dine in. We were greeted by two nice ladies. We placed our order and seated ourselves. Chicken combo, the sauce was delicious but it only came with four wings. Expected six a least. Fries were seasoned just right. Crab and shrimp bag with lemon pepper seasoning. The cluster were small it was loaded with potatoes but it was delicious. The crab cakes were also delicious.

My first impression of King Krabz is Low Budget, they served us the platter with cheap utensils and paper plates. The food was good. I loved the fried calamari the sauce was super good. The shrimp and snow crab platter was good we got the OG seasoning because my mom only likes mild flavors. The spicy sauce was not really hitting on the spice meter. The customer service was efficient. My dislikes about this restaurant were they don't have a bathroom or sink to wash your hands after eating a crab boil, they also didn't provide gloves so it was messy. I also don't like how they don't have adequate utensils and they don't serve water for free other than that I like that it's not asian influenced seafood boil place.

YUM! Very happy with the food and will definitely order again! We live within walking business and will gladly recommend this small business to locals looking for a good "boil spot". Only reasoning for 4/5 stars is the Lobster Platter description states you get "1 Lobster Tail" and it's truthfully only 1/2 of the tail. For the higher price point, that was disappointing.

I just ate here and ordered the loaded platter, crab cakes, and coleslaw. They didn't have the pasta today because their supplier didn't bring their sauce, but that's okay because just what I ordered was more then ample for my pleasantly plump self and husband. The crab is snow crab legs. I know people around here are all about the king and dungeness as based on what is available in this area and our close proximity to Alaska, but most the rest of the nation uses snow crabs. They were cooked properly with a decent amount of spices. The shrimp was delicious. I ordered a butter flight at the suggestion of another review and again, was not disappointed. The extra spicy was not as spicy as I would like but I'm Asian and we want to feel the pain as we swallow followed by our tears. The place was a little cold when we came in but they had just opened shop. I would suggest when they've been in business for a while to upgrade the thermostat to programmable or WiFi so they can start it up before they even arrive. The only problem I have with this is the butter congeals and the food cools too quickly. Otherwise, it wasn't uncomfortable to sit in. The decor was... well, they just got there. I'm sure over time the decor will improve. Also, would have been great if they could get their beer and wine license because a nice cold beer would make that delicious butter go down nicely. All in all, I REALLY suggest if you like crab boils and crab, try this place out. The price is not surprising for this economy, but in comparison to at home cooking might make you sigh. Oh, and be prepared to feel like you just had a heart attack. Cause that butter is going somewhere and if you're like me, it ain't your thighs.

Cute and small atmosphere! It's a small family business and the gals working there were very sweet and accommodating. We had the loaded platter with the garlic jalapeño butter and it was very flavorful and easy to grub on! Also ordered a side of grilled asparagus that was perfectly cooked and delicious. Found a new go-to spot for my seafood cravings!

Good food good prices. Cajun pasta was so good. The combos are good and the flavors & seasonings are on point. Definitely going again

Great atmosphere seafood is amazing season just right i always get Cajun or original can't go wrong. Customer service always happy attitude and smiles. They have good catfish too.

Is there any such thing as "DIAL-A-MEAL?" I first went there about 2 yrs ago. The food was HOT and in a different container then. Now this time it was COLD. There was NO seafood smell that food was being cooked. Heaters everywhere. No one checked on us. Expensive bottled water. Potatoes were a little under cooked. I didn't take my left overs home. My daughter did. She warmed it up and said it tasted much better. I will not go back. Thumbs DOWN! 2/7/2024 is when I ate there.
