What I liked:Great location by Haymarket bars and t-stop. Great server. Seared salmon bowl had a good port of salmon. Suggestion: would be good to serve a sauce with the cheeseburger dumplings. They were tasty, but a bit dehydrated. A dipping sauce would have been good.

Pretty disappointed with my Uber order from Koy last night. I liked the firecracker shrimp and the master Chang chicken. Both travelled well. The volcano roll and the cheese steak dumplings were not very good. The cheese steak dumpling filling was not very tasty. The dumplings were cold. The volcano roll was tossed around in the bag and was broken up. I know this shouldn't reflect on the restaurant but they have to package each dish properly for the dish to reflect positively on the restaurant...or don't do take out services. Probably my experience would have been better dining in, but I m just being honest with a review based upon a delivery service meal. So...don't do a delivery service meal from Koy unless you're a gambler. A better bet is to do dine in and get the right experience...and then decide if it's worth a 2nd try.

We went as a group last night. Drinks were good - Mai Tai, Appa is old, Mango mami were all good. In terms of appetizers, the firecracker shrimp was great, bang bang cauliflower was OK. The spicy wings were sweet and tangy not spicy and the scallion pancake was awful - there was no salt and we had to douse it with hot chili oil to make it edible.The pad Thai was extremely sweet. The hot pot bibimbap was good, but nothing extraordinary. The service was good except at the end where we had to wave our hands to get the attention to be able to pay the bill.So overall it was just OK and nothing stood out

We were visiting Boston on a vacation and decided to stop here on a whim. The restaurant is so cute and has a trendy fun vibe to it. I'm always a little skeptical of fusion restaurants because sometimes their menu is a little out there for me. But this place had a nice mix of "basic" and fusion items. If you want a fun place with good food and cocktails, this is a great place for an evening out. The service was also great. They provided some recommendations which didn't disappoint. I'd come back here if I were to visit Boston again.

For a fusion restaurant in the middle of downtown, this is actually not too bad. Not my favorite Korean/sushi joint, but there are some fun gems here. Their cheesy corn and their bang bang cauliflower are my favs. I also appreciate they don't skimp out on the galbi and provides lots of meat! Also loved their coconut ice cream dessert. They also provide fun sushi or drink making classes/events for folks to attend and learn! It's pretty unique and fun to be taking these activities there. Fun vibes and service all in all.

Had a spicy noddle dish from Koby and it was delicious. It was saucy, flavorful and the perfect amount of spicy. The beef was perfectly cook and it came with a healthy amount of vegetables. Sat at the bar since there was a wait for a table. The place was vibrant and energetic. The drinks were strong and well crafted with pairings.

i'm honestly really disappointed with koy. i had super high expectations based on online pictures and reviews. i got the hot stone bimbimbap ($16) and it tasted very mediocre and just like any other bimbimbap i've had. the vibes at the restaurant were also not that great. it was dark and not very lively. given the location in downtown boston and that we went at peak dinner time, i expected there to be much more people, but it was just my friend and i, and two other parties. overall rating: 5/10

Been coming to this place for years, glad drink prices are still reasonable. Highly recommend their bibmbap!
