Koto Teriyaki

Since they changed people in the restaurant, the food isn't the same anymore. My chicken teriaky was burnt, and the beef broccoli had 3/4 of broccoli, then meat at least before it was half half. Them rising the price and getting less food is not the same anymore like it used to be. Sorry, this was my last time eating there.

One thing we appreciate about this place is that they offer military discount. Secondly, the customer service was pleasant very friendly on the other hand the food wasn't very good aside from getting the food very quickly it seemed as though the orange chicken was microwaved and not appetizing at all, the rice was dry. The only food item we enjoyed was the spring rolls and the coconut bubble tea was really good.

The food was very delicious and the price was decent. The waiter is very friendly and the ambiance is somewhat pleasant. I would definitely recommend for a quick bite should the mood strike

Yes. I actually stopped by yesterday because I wanted the Chicken and Beef and give them another try. OUCH ! Folks, don't do it. As stated in another review, the portions have dropped dropped dropped. Prices have increased again. I carried my bag out and it actually felt empty. And the rice is now as solid and extra fluffy now. I think I will deny the charge when it comes through.This is what will close a bussiness down. GREED

Having grown up in the PNW, Teriyaki spots are common - it's a true staple here! The down side is that they can't all be great... I've consumed an embarrassing amount of this type of takeout in my lifetime, but I am happy to say it's given me a taste for what I love in my teriyaki plate.I also have to mention their fantastic customer service - they always have food that is hot, fresh, and handed over with a smile. There is a lot of joy in their kitchen and restaurant and the cleanliness and awesome service makes it obvious that they take pride in their business and care for their customers. Koto absolutely hits the nail on the head with their rich, hot chicken teriyaki, crispy gyoza, and rice that is just a tiny bit sticky and full bodied. Also, the classic iceberg salad with a light, sweet dressing to make sure you have something to lighten it up. Their chicken has just the right amount of tenderness, sweetness from being marinated, and a hint of crispy char from the grill. Stacked beautifully in the box, it was awesome to bring home to my hungry family who wouldn't wait to dig in once we opened the box! Their gyoza is awesome - crispy outside, soft inside, and plenty of flavor. It's a classic that they've done just right! Their rice is so good - I'll probably pick up an extra side to refrigerate and use in the stir fry later in the week next time we stop by.The long and short of it is that we pass at least 2 other teriyaki restaurants to get to Koto and we'll be back here next time - but I'm trying the Yakisoba and a sushi roll next time! The best way to describe this spot is as the perfect comfort Japanese food for anyone who grew up getting the basic take out as a kid.I came by to grab a to go plate on a busy and stressful day when I just needed something quick, and it honestly hit the spot. It's good, basic Japanese take out, and it was a huge source of nostalgia and comfort for me at a time that I needed it. The store is very clean and organized and has a solid menu. The cashier is very friendly and an excellent multitasker. She was taking orders, setting out food for to go orders/mobile orders, and constantly answering the phone. She definitely stayed busy but never made any customers wait to be helped. My food was ready in 10-15 minutes and was actually ready faster than my partner's food from a restaurant next door. It was quiet when I entered and picked up shortly after (it was about 4:30 PM). It was nice to see a good amount of foot traffic in a small restaurant. And yet it never got loud or rowdy. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo plate. It was exactly as you expect and hope for from chicken teriyaki.

I love the wonton soup wish I could get recipe. It is the best I have had The broth is so good

Cashier needs to treat customers nicely . Say hello or help customer to select the menu item. Menu is expensive for teriyaki

I ordered 2 items for delivery 1.Teriyaki Chicken that had no taste, it was just blah, the rice didn't taste good either2. Teriyaki Shrimp which I did not receive instead they gave me some kind of fried rice, I don't know if it was chicken. The rice was dark brown and was horrible the meat was even worse and the little salad they gave with the order had wilted edges.everything tasted old. now my stomach is turning I don't know what the heck I ate but I will never eat their food again. The food is going to the birds if they don't eat it then I know something is wrong with it.

Great food, and always friendly. I generally do take out, but the restaurant is clean and bright, though small.
