Kore

First time at Kore, it was dark inside which was perfect for a little date night. We got the octopus, kimchi risotto. We liked all the dishes, but my favorite was the truffle mac.n.cheese, k.pop chicken and beef tartare. I got a lychee martini and an adult capri sun. I wish it was stronger, but it was good. The staff was great and the owner was really friendly, he went around and spoke to everyone. We'll definitely be back.

I stopped by for $8 martini Wednesday with a friend & I cannot state this enough...Kore is fantastic! The decor is gorgeous, and the vibe was people who were dressed up, but also locals sitting at the bar. Service was SO fantastic. Travis was our server and after ordering half the menu it seemed like, he stayed on top of our drinks and empty plates like a pro. I believe either the owners or managers were also running around helping as well. I personally think the kpop chicken was my favorite dish of the night, closely followed by the blue cheese dill salad. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Koré might be the best new addition to Nashville. Why? It checks all the boxes other restaurants seem to have forgotten when looking to become a mainstay... friendly service, affordable and delicious eats, and free parking.This Japanese tapas restaurant now occupies the previous samurai sushi location on Chapel in East and what an upgrade! When you walk in immediately you're greeted with the most wonderful customer service. Not just by the hostess, but the entire staff goes above and beyond to make your time in their establishment a wonderful experience. You can tell this is a team effort and everyone wants it to succeed. I mean, my friend and I were even asked if the air conditioning was ok for us!! The food and the prices themselves are nothing like you'll find in Nashville with this level of quality. Their happy hour has actual happy hour prices with cocktails and wine ranging from $6-$11. I had an old fashioned for $8 and it was fantastic. Since this is a taps restaurant you're meant to order a few dishes to share so my friend and I ordered about 5 dishes and 2 drinks each and left fully satisfied. What really stood out were the sticky ribs and truffle mac and cheese.If you're looking for a new dinner spot with friends, family is in town, or even date night, Koré is the new go-to. Go. GO! Now. Immediately.

Such a fun date night spot! Great for any kind of socializing! We tried most of the menu honestly and weren't disappointed. It's mostly small plates for sharing. The dumplings, steak bites (not sure what they're actually called) ,and the crispy rice with tuna were our favorites! We also loved the cheesecake! Super fun and hip vibe and great service! The chef came out after and introduced himself and he was awesome!

One of the best meals I've ever had.Period.Service and food -- cannot be matched. Truly one of the most intriguing meals.

Kore is not bad! I think the flavors of every dish don't necessarily blend together, but overall decent. Good priced tapas! I wasn't a fan of the tartare - i didn't like that it was larger meat chunks instead of your traditional tartare.Service was really friendly and quick overall.Ambiance is interesting- it's an old bar. They didn't make many changes to it so to me the ambiance doesn't really match the cuisine but to each their own.

I came here for dinner and I loved it!! The service was a little slow but they just opened so that's expected! We had lychee martinis and a plethora of tapas. The tuna crispy rice is one of the best I've had in Nashville! We ordered a few rounds of the cucumbers because they were that good! Highly recommend!!

A good addition in the East Nashville food scene. The service was up to the mark, ambience is nice, the food is well thought through and flavorful. The portions are smaller for the price and they are yet to start the region beer service but the sake collection was good. Would like to go back.

Holy moly! Y'all.... KORÈ (kor-ay) ain't playing any games!!!Originally drawn here due to their AMAZING restaurant in Franklin (shout out Mi Kitchen) - Korè is East's newest dining spot. The food is brilliant, creative and made with love. There's a fair amount of places to choose, especially in East (think Hawkers, Noko, Two Ten, Xiao Bao) but my shining star goes to Korè.What sets them apart is not only their stellar food but their service. Chef Yun and Chef Nick go out of their way to say hi when you're dining and to ensure you're having a good time. They are so friendly, humble, wonderful and kind. Avery, our server, is amazing! Attentive, kind, down to earth, personable and has great recommendations. Been to too many places in East where the servers are less than interested to be there and that is not the case here. The ambiance is casual yet elevated (def date night vibes or a fancy place with your girls!) serving Asian inspired tapas plates. They recommend 2-3 per person, but my husband and I love trying different dishes, so we'll get more to share. My personal recs:1. Mi cucumber 2. Truffle Mac and cheese (mind blown!)3. Sticky ribs 4. Oh my goodness! This was one of my favorite food experiences I've had in Nashville in the past ten years that I've lived here! Each dish was delicious and well balanced. The Mi Cucumber was so good, we ordered a second. Literally nothing to complain about. Our server Travis was awesome too. Great service. Can't wait to come back and bring all my foodies with me.
