Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating to our fairly large party! Food was delicious and came out super quickly! I got the classic eggs benedict and tried the lychee cocktail. Also got pancakes and eggs for breakfast here! Super delicious and very cozy.

As born and raised Oahu resident that moved to Washington, I have been searching for local style food in the area. My coworker recommended Kona Kitchen and I finally stopped by for dine in. The experience and service was very authentic, kind of reminds me of zippys dine in. The food was very good. My wife got kalua pork, rice and mac. Kalua pork needed more cabbage but it wasnt dry so that was good.I got the loco moco and I think the patty was the star. It had the grill taste and tenderness of a fresh patty. My big minus was the fried rice and gravy was a bit salty for me which is why I had to dock a star. Also only 1 patty for the price, I wish there was 2 (rice to meat ratio is off)I love the ambience, service and food. I really wish there was a bit more meat with the meals (lnl regular in hawaii has 2 patties for loco moco) But it is very good for Washington, but almost there to be competing with local food in Hawaii.

This place is awesome! Excellent service and any place I walk into that has reggae in a chill vibe and is playing Stick Figure sign me up.I had the Cali Benny and have to say it was spot on. I also ordered some stew for take home for dinner and it was also amazing. Great breakfast love atmosphere!

I ordered the beef stew and it was literally one of the best I had in a long while. The meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork. It was not fibrous at all. The only drawback was it was a tad too salty for me. The rice definitely went well with it. I guess mac salad was a common thing in Hawaiian cuisine as it also came with that. I didn't love it, it was ok. Service was good and they would come round to check on you and the food. I wish I had more days here so I could try other dishes on the menu. Parking is available at the lot out front.

Here it comes little miss lady manager. Visited craving biscuits and gravy, was served after a while, biscuits and gravy very sub par, all out of a can and or a bag, no flavor, no love, really pissed me off. I did my best to inform management, called, talked with the manager, I was hung up Apon. I had invited her on a trip up to the Stilly Diner, B&G for us both on me, silly girl hung up on me, her loss, I'm great company, and will treat you to some great food, just not at the kona kitchen. Piss off you turd!

Immediately greeted. Didn't know what to expect. The spam masubi hit the spot. Ordered 2 of them. My friend ordered a burger, said it was basic but good. The edamame appetizer was a bit small. Chantilly cake, wasn't what I expected (I guess in Hawaii it is a basic chocolate cake with icing) like I've had in Louisiana and other areas. It was dry and not really worth ordering. The atmosphere was good and the establishment was clean. I'd stop in again just for the spam masubi.

Small saimin with a side of sautéed mushrooms was all I needed to curve my appetite.Husband also had the small saimin. We just needed a small something for a late dinner. We can always count on Kona Kitchen to give us what we need to satisfy our cravings. Tonight, because it was late we really didn't want to eat heavy. Saimin is perfect for times like this. I did inquire about their guava cake which they were out of. Just as well. Didn't need the added sugar! Service is always great. We always come back!

I have dined in and done taken-out for dinner dishes only. Overall it is a great little place for anyone to try Hawaiian food. The cakes (sold by decent sized slices) were surprisingly good, but the supply can be inconsistent. :(

We dined at Kona Kitchen in Lynwood, Washington, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. The Hawaiian-themed decor added a fun and relaxed vibe to our evening. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The main course, was generously portioned and beautifully presented. The katsu curry was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes from the teriyaki sauce. My dining companion chose the Kalua Pork, which was equally impressive - tender, smoky, and full of rich flavors. The portions were large and offered great value for the price. We left feeling more than satisfied and with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. The overall experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend Kona Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious and hearty meal in a welcoming setting.
