Food, Service, Ambience. 5 stars for all 3. Brunch menu is incredible and drinks are delish. Presentation is perfect. PERFECT!!! Let's make this place the hot spot for brunch! The decor is light and fun. Great way to dine. Be careful of the Mexican corn...it's addictive.

Since moving from California, I've been looking for a place with good margaritas, and I'm so impressed by their selections of drinks! It was really good. I ordered the taco plate and that was fantastic. It's kind of hard to find really good Mexican food in Washington, so I was so happy to find this place. My fiancée also loves burritos, and he still is bragging about it today. Everyone was super friendly, we asked someone for help with drinks and you can tell they weren't a server, but took their time to help us and wrote on their hand what we needed. Super sweet! The place is definitely lit. We went on a weekend around 7pm so it was pretty loud and lively. Nothing wrong with that. It was fun.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food is excellent, met the nicest server ever (Shoutout Jonathan!- GIVE HIM A RAISEEEEE!!!!!) who made this place such a freaking vibe! Also the bartenders were exceptional, leaving me astounded. Love this place. As far as food goes, I cannot stress how well made the food here is. The chips and guac were fresh, and I could eat the Mexican enchiladas forever! Took my friends here and they loved it here, feels like you're really in a tropical fever dream

Sometimes the contemporary Mexican concept has me skeptical but this spot knocked it out of the park.Beautiful drink menus and well-crafted drinks.Unique and delicious menu items. Love the fresh handmade tortillas.Poblano Enchiladas ($26 + $5 for steak) - So unique, the poblano and cashew sauce is creamy and delicate. Loved the blue corn tortillas.Carne Asada Plate ($38) - Came with an impressive amount of protein, the meat was flavorful and perfect with the toothsome handmade tortillas.BF said the margarita ($14) was excellent - he is picky with his margs too so you know it's good!Atmosphere is bustling and fun - booming Latin music. Not good for intimate conversations though, lol. The staff is wonderful.

Found this new Mexican spot in Capitol Hill. The ambience here is truly one-of-a-kind, setting it apart from other restaurants in Seattle. Our server was exceptional--she provided us with fantastic recommendations and was incredibly attentive and warm throughout our visit. We got guacamole and chips, salsa trio, chicken empanada, Poblano enchiladas, and tuna tartare. Every dish was a flavor sensation. Their cocktail list is impressive, and they can make most of them into mocktails, which is a fantastic option.I cannot recommend this place highly enough and eagerly anticipate my next visit.

If you're on the hunt for tasty cocktails and yummy food, Koko's is a must-try! We stopped here for cocktails and appetizers on my birthday and were amazed by the beautiful interior and friendly staff. From the happy hour menu, I highly recommend the cocktails, platanitos, and churros. I'll definitely be back to try out the full menu soon!

I honestly don't understand the 5-star reviews. I know a lot of my friends are friends with the owner and want to support their business BUT its just not good. Service is the absolute worst. I've been there twice and they have forgotten food/drink orders both times. On my recent visit, the waitress came up to us 20 mins after we placed our order (which took another 20 mins) asking to verify what we ordered, does that mean she didn't put in the order? Why would you verify it after you put in the order... really didn't make any sense (we all guessed she hadn't put it in yet). I ordered the huevos con chorizo for brunch which is like making your own breakfast tacos but they only give you sour cream. At least provide salsa or at a minimum hot sauce....but don't even get me started on the "hot sauce". they only have their house made "hot sauce" and I have never had the most blandest hot sauce ever. It was only spicy, no flavor. Maybe hoping for some seasoning, vinegar, etc.... just heat. we all tried it and found it so weird.the black beans and fried bananas were good at least? everything we thought needed some sort of seasoning on the food. even salt and pepper would of been great.Drinks... if you are going to be paying a premium at least it should taste good.I will say the ambiance is very nice. but thats about all they got.to my friends.... please don't ask me to come with you to Koko's.... i'll meet up with you afterwards

Koko's is an absolute must!! I was visiting my good friends and they brought me to dinner here and everything was AMAZING!! From the moment we walked in the hostess greeted us and it was such a warm welcome. Then Gibran came to our table to say Hi and introduced Alexi (partner). I honestly felt like family, which is such a rare feeling these days at restaurants. If I was in Seattle I would probably be here every week lol. Besides the amazing food and customer service, the restaurant's atmosphere is such a vibe! The next time I come I will definitely request the window seat :) I already told my friends that every time I come to visit, they will be bringing back..... mmmmkay!

You absolutely MUST go to Koko's!! I can't say enough good things. The food, the music, the ambience, the service - all 10/10. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a restaurant! My boyfriend and I stumbled in by chance on a Friday around 7:30p. It was already bustling and Stephen, the fantastic host, told us it would be around 30 mins. We were HUNGRY, but could tell it would be worth the wait. Stephen kept us informed, chatted with us and hooked us up with arguably the best seat in the house - in the bar, right in front of the open windows and with a perfect view of the space (which is stunning, by the way). Our server, Jonathan, was attentive, gave perfect recommendations and exuded a genuine energy that made us feel like we were on vacation. Now. Let's talk food: Best chips and guac in Seattle - hands down. The chips came out hot, were so crispy. Omg I'm hungry just thinking about them. Tuna tostadas for an appetizer. YUM! Also very generous portion of the tuna. Chicken quesadilla. HOLY SMOKES. You're probably thinking, "it's a quesadilla. How good can it be?" Hush. Go get it. You'll understand. Again, generous portion, perfectly crisped, the spices, I could go on but I'm drooling. I had the chopped salad. Again, simple, right? Nope! I don't know what it is, some hypnotic herbs or something. It was light but filling and absolutely delicious. Gibran and Alex, the owners, GEMS!!!!! They blessed us with the gift of the churros and OH. MY. GOD. I don't even like churros all that much. I woke up thinking about these ones. There's a light custard in the middle and they're served with the most delectable homemade chocolate dip. ORDER THESE. Cocktails were phenomenal. Perfectly balanced and visually beautiful. We were lucky in that Stephen, Jonathan, Gibran, and Alex took the time out to chat with us and share the story of Koko's. All of them are so sincere and passionate about this beautiful spot. You can tell every single little detail has been considered. We can't wait to check out their other location in Seabrook and will be back for brunch sooner than later. So stoked for this new spot!
