Wow I'm so glad that I've tried this African Ethiopian food it is so yummy. The owner was super nice and did his business well, I will be back for more yummy food.

First time trying etheopian food was advised the lamb. Made sure it came with the injera bread. The smells in my car were epic. This was awsome at first the bread had a vinegar taste but with the lamb stew great combo. Will be going back to try more.

I walked into this restaurant looking for Zam Zam Cafe which had 5-star reviews, where this restaurant used to be. I've tried food from Dukem Market just a few doors down and liked it, but had decided to give this restaurant a try to see if I like it better. Well.. I'm not disappointed! I ordered the meat combo, but after some confusing discussions due to language barriers, I realized the meat combo does not come with any veggies, except the white cheese, Ayib. So, I ordered a side of Gomen, or collard greens and a side of salad. Total including 20% tip comes up to $35, which I think it's fair given the 2-3 meals this would last me. The meats all carry their distinct taste and texture which I appreciate and quite tasty. Some people might complain about the Allicha Wet being too tough and chewy, but I think it's supposed to be like that. I think compared to Dukem Market, it might be slightly more expensive because the same meat combo at Dukem also comes with 2 veggie sides of your choice. I would say the foods in both restaurants are comparable and although they are very good, I've had better. Just food alone and the pricing, I would give it a 4-star, but I've decided to add another star because the owner, despite having a hard time understanding me, tried his best to give me what I asked for. And since they are brand new and I'm their first reviewer on Yelp, I hope I can help them get a good start with an excellent rating.
