Koibito Sushi & Teriyaki

5 stars for consistency, friendliness, and quality. The couple who run this humble little teriyaki place are the best! They are one of the friendliest people I've met here in seattle! I frequent this place maybe 4x a week and Hannah knows my order when I call in every time. They make me feel at home there. I appreciate what you guys do for the neighborhood!

Me and my friends just got to Seattle and we were craving teriyaki so we decided to check this spot out. It is a small little place but that does not affect how the food tasted because it was THE best one we've had yet. The lady at the front was really nice and she did give us enough time to look at the menu. I did only get the chicken teriyaki and rice just because I did not know how spicy the spicy chicken was gonna be, but my friend did and she loved it. We only got it that one time, but the whole trip we were just thinking about it, even after leaving the city we were craving it.

Have never dined in, but have ordered on Uber eats a handful of times. You can count on this place for their consistency. Teriyaki tastes the same every time. Love their spicy chicken teriyaki. It comes with two full scoops of rice and a small salad which is essentially just lettuce and dressing but the dressing is tasty! It's like a sweet ginger dressing.They were also accommodating on changing the regular roll to a hand roll which was great! The amount of fish included was a bit disappointing especially for an $8 roll. Tasted as expected - just wish it was bigger.Definitely give this a try if you're craving teriyaki. Have not tried enough rolls to comment too much on sushi but love the fact that you can get both here.

Pros:+ I did enjoy the Teriyaki chicken that I got here. Cons:+ Unfortunately, there's going to be way more cons than pros considering the 2 stars. The Teriyaki was about the only good thing I've had here. The California roll that I got with the bento box was worse (by a lot) than grocery store sushi. Just don't get the sushi here. + Have gotten taken out and got their General Tso's Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and a beef dish - all of them were just Sweet and tasted one note. I know GTC might be a bit sweet but not every single dish should be sweet. Maybe they're so used to doing Teriyaki..... + Can we talk about the rice portion that comes with take out??? I'm pretty sure it's one scoop (like the large ice cream scoop or mashed potato sized scoop that you get at the cafeteria). C'mon, it's just white rice, you can give a little more than that....I mean, I just don't recommend this place as a good Chinese take out place and I'm really disappointed because it's so close to me. But regardless of how convenient it is, I just cannot bring myself to spend money on and eat this food.

This place is a total gem! There are so many things I enjoy about this cute lil' teriyaki joint. First of all, the lovely lady who runs the register is always so kind and welcoming whenever I stop by for lunch. Like, consistently amazing each and every time! Second of all, the chicken teriyaki is delicious! I love the tender chicken that is coated in the yummy teriyaki sauce. It comes with two scoops of full rice and a small salad. It's a great combo. OoO! They also have sushi a great sushi menu as well! I've yet to try it but I foresee indulging in the near future! Kudos to his place for being a great go-to!

Good food for a good price. Cute little interior. No bathrooms and no sit down but that's ok! They are very quick and friendly.

I came here on a whim for lunch and thought it was just ok. Based on the reviews, I decided to grab the spicy chicken teriyaki. I asked for no rice and extra salad. What I got was no rice, but also no extra salad...the portion was ok for what you pay, but the chicken was also ok, nothing really spectacular. It wasn't spicy and there was a lot of sauce. The salad was standard as well. However, i did wish they didn't put the dressing on there as I didn't eat the food until later on and the salad was gloopy and soft. Service was good though. The lady was nice and considerate.

I ordered online and picked up only ~10-15 min later, which is super convenient!I do not recommend the honey garlic chicken. I'm not sure if I waited too long to eat (had to walk back) but it was very soggy. The pieces of chicken were also very big and not high quality. The flavor of the sauce was not too bad though!The teriyaki chicken was your typical teriyaki -- no complaints here :) We got the gyoza combo which came with about 5 gyozas. They were also average but surprisingly crispy! I'd like to come here to try the sushi next time, as they have a lot of options.Overall this place was nothing special, but it's great for a convenient and quick bite :)

The chicken teriyaki was pretty good and the portions size was quite large which was great! The place is small so it's more of a grab and go kinda place instead of restaurant seating. The worker that took our order was nice as well. I would come back and try the sushi next time.

Spicy Teriyaki with Fried rice was awesome. Sauce is sweet and spicy, fried rice was well done and service with side of egg and green. Portion size was all great too! The lady at door was nice, answered our questions and she made our food too!
