Save yourself some time.Go to poke bar up the street off Shea. You get a real Asian chef preparing your food,Not some highs school kids throwing ingredients in a bowl.At poke bar you can tell the husband and wife put effort and love into each bowl they make. Here he was just putting it together, granted he was probably still training. The portions here are way less than poke bar as far as the amount of fish you get. I had 2-3 bites and the fish was gone, all toppings remained with hard rice. Bang for buck I'd say drive up the street to poke bar.One thing good I can say is kobito did offer a good selection of sauces that were well labeled.

The build your poke bowl is real goodwith fresh fish. We always end with the pineapple whip that's very refreshing. Service is always good. Sometimes if quiet we eat inside . We've eaten here several times so it gets my seal of approval.

It was stuffed to the tippy top. Absolutely delicious. I had salmon, tuna, crab and shrimp, shaved brussels, ginger, edamame, cauliflower rice for base and seaweed on top. There was a few more things too I can't remember.

This is a really great little pokey spot! I was visiting from out of town, and happened upon this gem. The staff at both locations I stopped out were very accommodating with my food, allergies and super nice. All the ingredients were very fresh, including the sushi grade fish.I built my own bowl and went with the Yuna, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very chill inside which is nice as well. Definitely worth a visit.

First experience at this location was a 2. However, UCL redeemed the location by remaking the order to the highest degree! DELICIOUS!! Thank you for the personal attention. Looking forward to seeing you at the "sister state location" soon. Let us know when/where so we can support that location too.

Koibito is my FAVORITE poke place in AZ so far. I miss the one that used to be in Peoria so much! I went there daily it felt like. I love all the different options and everything is FRESH! My favorite is double salmon double tuna with no base (it makes for 2 meals for me). The sweet chili lime sauce is my favorite and I love the edamame, green onions, masago, crab salad, shaved Brussels and extra seaweed salad ($1 extra). Now the large bowl I get is like $20 so yes it's a bit pricey but so is sushi and this is like my sushi with all the goodies minus rice. I wish there was one closer but who knows, maybe in the future? Until then I'll have to drive across town to get my favorite poke fix!

1 start for the friendliness of the woman assembling my bowl but no stars anywhere else. Protein and topping options seemed somewhat limited but overall, the selection wasn't bad. Situated in Gainey Shoppes, a nice location with ample parking. As for the food...we'll, nothing really looked super fresh but I believed it must be, so I went ahead. I got brown rice with the shrimp, which was chopped up and sitting in water, spicy crab and octopus. The octopus was so chewy, I couldn't enjoy it and the crab was just off. Nearly everything was sitting in a pool of water which is not safe. I went in for the rice and my very first bite bit down on what felt like a rock but looks like a tooth. Very unappetizing. From what I tasted before the "tooth" incident, it all had this very bitter taste and just not fresh. The condiment station had some soy sauce packets in plastic cups and extremely under stocked. There were only about 3 low so soy and a dozen regular. No chopsticks unless you ask for them. Just a very annoying waste of time and money. Discarded the entire bowl.

Awesome spot in The Shops Gainey Village plaza. They offer specialty bowls that you may order or create your own poke bowl. You can order your bowl by the amount of scoops of protein you'd like to include in it, they have a variety of toppings you can add to your bowl. The toppings are unlimited with avocado being the only topping with an additional charge. The staff was very welcoming and helpful for my first time being here, id definitely return just because of the hospitality. The food was no short of AMAZING! I'd like to come back and try there other options.

Amazing!!!!! Not only was the food delicious and the price fair, the staff was AWESOME!!! Customer service at the highest level, which for me (a gen-Xer) feels like a lot art. So it was incredibly refreshing and super appreciated to experience it here. They greeted us with genuine enthusiasm. Offered suggestions and were so upbeat as they helped us with our order. They even came over to our table to check on us and make sure it was good and we were happy.I wish I could give more than 5 stars and will definitely be back next time we're in town!

I've had better poke, but then again spoiled from Kauai/kona island. Lol not a lot of rice in the bowl and if you get sauce, that's what the whole bowl becomes so if you like to taste your poke get really like or none. I do like that they have a ton of topping options, it was pretty dead when we went but the service was good and they were helpful. I'll probably try it again for a redemption bowl now that I know what not to get.
