The quality of the fish, meat, vegetables. etc. is really terrible now compared to the first year they were opened. I'm just guessing that they're trying to cut costs and keep prices the same for the customers so they're buying much lower quality ingredients. Customers are not stupid! We can see and taste the difference. If the managers/owners are reading this, hopefully they take this feedback. I'd rather pay more and have the quality they had previously.I will not get sushi here any longer because the last two times I've been concerned about the freshness (or lack thereof) of the fish. The Chinese food used to be very good and I'd tell people to come up to Anthem and give Koi a try. Now I can no longer recommend Koi to anyone unless they decide to go back to their previous model of buying quality, fresh ingredients. The last time we got takeout and they didn't include one of the items I ordered. My husband didn't realize it was missing until he got home and I was looking for it. I called and wanted them to refund the $5+ tax on my credit card, and they acted like they didn't know how to do a refund so they told me that they'll put a note attached to my phone number for next time I come and I'll get $5 off. Well, that's a waste because I truly do not know if I'll ever be returning.

Excelente food and efficient service! Small restaurant, quiet vibe even with the 3 big TV's if you would like to enjoy some good food while watching a game. Service was great! We received everything super fast including our meals. We started with the small wonton soup and it was delicious! We then shared a orange chicken which was also very delicious and sushi which was fresh. Will be visiting again!

The food is always just perfect! I've gone here countless times, and everytime I left satisfied. They have the most bomb miso soup, and well everything. Will always be a personal favriote of mine they got a really good lunch menu deal, so if you are hungry, please go for lunch and get a bento meal! Delicious!! I usually get the sushi bento box. When I walked in everything was so clean. I ordered a Bento Box to go and the food was good and plenty of it. And I could tell right off in my curry sauce that it was not just thrown together but left to sit so the spices were blended nicely. You could taste the spices and the heat was present but subtle. And the Miso soup was gentle and warming. So , unlike many Chinese restaurants I've frequented over the decades, I plan on returning. Now I'm not a Sushi person per se so I can't vouch for that part. However the California roll that came with it was nice for myself. Especially since the cucumber was left out and the avocado was very fresh. This is a small place. The tables were laid out very nice and waitstaff friendly. If you want a fancy Ambiance not your place. This is a good food and comfortable atmosphere to relax in. Think more American diner with a more modern Eastern vibe.

Definitely not going back the chicken fried rice smell like a wet dog and they remade it for me and I'm pretty sure they just reheated my old food and added some more soy sauce. The server was rude and not good at communicating. And after telling my server multiple times I didn't like my food was still charged for the food that smelled like wet dog. veggie spring rolls were good but how can you mess that up?

Heading out of phoenix and starving , yelp directed me to Koi sushi. The sashimi lunch was sooo good with big slices of fresh fish! The salad put me over the top with there miso dressing . This is a great place with fresh fish ! See you soon !

First time here, ordered sushi. Delicious. Bummed there wasn't seating at the sushi bar, but no biggie. Clean, relaxing music, good sushi, good service. What more does one need? Will be back!

Very disappointed with our take out meal. Spent $45 for awful food. Ordered sweet & sour pork and it had so much greasy breading and I could barely find any pork and not an onion, pepper or pineapple to be seen.The vegetable fried rice tasted burnt or the oil used was very old. Always got the cream cheese wontons and now they are completely different (small & barely any filling). Very sad that they are not as good as they used to be. Won't be returning.
