Kodo Sushi Sake

This place has become my all time go-to place for any kinds of dining experience. Every time I go, I am greeted by friendly staffs not only from the hall, also from the chefs at sushi bar! No need to mention about the food. Always great and fresh also great price as well. I am a sushi lover, but never able to find any places in the valley that could compete to this place. Friendly staffs always make the ambiance nice and make you feel getting attention and treated well.Definitely I am going back over and over again. Highly recommended!!

BIG WARNING DOUBLE DIPPINGReview for Kodo Sushi & SakeI recently visited Kodo Sushi & Sake and was impressed by the quality of the sushi. The flavors were fresh, and the presentation was top-notch. Although I didn't have the chance to try the sake, the overall dining experience was quite enjoyable.However, I must share a concerning incident that occurred during my visit. After our meal, we noticed that there was an issue with the billing due to the sever claiming the card was declined, we showed the waiter that the charge is pending and he played stupid. We called the bank, and they confirmed that the transaction was not declined, meaning the server lied to us. After we left, there was another transaction made on our card, as shown in the photos. This manipulation of the charging process, known as "double dipping," relies on customers not reviewing their credit card statements closely, allowing the server to pocket extra money as an illegitimate tip.Because of this experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Kodo Sushi & Sake to others, despite the excellent food. Be wary of this practice, and I hope the management addresses this issue to prevent future occurrences.

Went there again and had 5 rolls: Rainbow, Spider, OMG, H3, and Blue Ocean. This time we felt like the Spider roll was underwhelming, but all rolls were still amazing! We loved the H3, Blue Ocean, OMG, and Rainbow rolls in that order. Service was very quick and friendly.

Always exceptional service, love the lunch specials and the regulars who come here! Friendly service, fresh fish, super consistent! Definitely recommend this place!

After seeing this place ranked high on Yelp we decided to give it a try! Came in around 7:30pm Friday night - sat in about 10 minutes at bar top. Took about 5-10 minutes to get someone to grab our order (it was very busy!!) but food came out so quick! Miso soup was delicious, spicy edamame amazing, loooooved the super crunch shrimp roll and iced matcha green tea. Arizona roll was delicious. Everything was great but those were my favorites! Definitely recommend for your next sushi date!!

Found this place from searching yelp. Then saw someone had posted on social media. So we thought we'd try it. Glad we did. We put our name on the waitlist via the yelp app. Friday night so we assumed they would be busy. Host checked us in. He was super friendly and said we would be up next. Immediately greeted by multiple people. We asked about a roll that we saw someone order next to us. We ordered a shrimp tempura roll, the mango roll, dynamite roll, spicy edamame, and some hot sake. Food came out quickly. Was very delicious, fresh, large portions, and very reasonably priced. The spicy edamame was SO good and I already want to go back for the mango roll. Definitely recommend!!

A surprise finding for delicious sushi rolls. Came here for dinner. Didn't have to wait long for a table. We got some spicy edamame and a few rolls. The OMG roll was baked and delicious but my favorite of the night was the salmon lover roll. The ingredients and flavors were so light and refreshing. Would definitely go for that roll again! The place was busy but overly noisy, the staff sas efficient and friendly.

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had! Went here for date night and it was fantastic! First time dining here and the vibe is chill and romantic. The servers all work together to take care of the tables so you won't have just one server helping you. All of them were attentive and helpful. For appetizers we got the gyoza and veggie tempura. The gyoza were very good but the tempura was okay. The best appetizer we got was the sexy crab. It was crab and veggies cut into strips and wrapped in seaweed. They had spicy ponzu sauce little drizzled on them and they were the perfect starter. Then for our entrees my boyfriend had the Finding Nemo. It was 10 pieces! The spicy Mayo was very strong but over all a good roll. I got the yellowtail.com and it was the most perfect dish for me! Yellowtail is my favorite and the dish came with four pieces of sashimi, four pieces of nigiri, and then four pieces of spicy yellow tail roll. Then they have fresh wasabi and this completed the dish. I have found my new favorite spot that is close by and I cannot wait to go back!
