I met a friend for dinner at Kobe recently and this was her pick.I got Prawn tempura and Spicy rainbow roll. I loved both the prawn tempura and the sushi roll. They have so many options and it was tough to pick what I wanted to have on my first visit. Will definitely be back to try other items.

Take this with a grain of salt, or a teaspoon of gochujang, as the case may be because we popped in after a long morning of flying and dealing with SEA-TAC car rentals. Because SEA-TAC wa such a debacle of an experience, we ate at Kobe between lunch and dinner, and wasn't up for a full meal. We did have two LARGE Sapporo beers for medicinal purposes and one order of the ddokboki (rice cakes), and the grilled shisamo fish. The fish were DELECTABLE. As long as you are a gourmand enough to enjoy little fish whole, you're going to love this. Wee seafood pockets bursting with roe and flavor, they were delightful. The ddokboki was really good too, clearly made with an anchovy broth adding to the deeper flavor vs made with a lesser liquid. While not as good as what you'd get in Namdaemun market on Seoul (a tall order), it harkened to that direction well enough. Service was very friendly, and it was a good jolt of tastiness and medical relief by way of fermented grains and hops.

This place was very good for lunch! It was hot outside and my partner and I were very hungry from walking around town all day. Kobe was very cool inside and had fast and friendly staff. There were a lot of choices on the menu and I got a mixed plate. The food was absolutely amazing. Very happy I stopped here. Memorable experience.

The food was delicious and an excellent value. We had a spicy pork hot pot bibimbap and a spicy seafood udon noodle bowl. Servings were generous, and each dish was about $17-$18.The service was fast, polite, and professional. Each dish came with a miso soup and a salad. The dressing on the salad was very nice. This restaurant seems to be a fusion of Korean and Japanese. The udon had lots of Korean spices in it.

SERVICE: 4/5The service was great! Our waitress was patient taking our large order and the food came out quickly afterward. The only issue was that they forgot one of our orders, but it worked out fine since we were all too full. Overall, we were satisfied with the service, but there was nothing outstanding that stood out. FOOD: 4.5/5There is a great selection of both Japanese and Korean food. I got the Salmon Love Roll and Nagasaki Udon. The Salmon Love Roll had a mild spice and I liked how soft the salmon was. The Nagasaki Udon had a light, but delicious broth flavor and the udon noodles added a chewy and supple texture. They also gave a generous amount of seafood that it is worth trying for the price. I would highly recommend the udon during the rainy day or if you are craving some comfort food.*NOTE: Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant.

We were here in the evening. We ordered pork tonkatsu, energy roll and half and half chicken. We loved the fried chicken. The energy roll too was also good. We liked this place just because it closes late. The service was also good. As for parking, you can use the retail parking from the hotel.

I've ordered from here so many times and have even dined in a number of times. Very casual dining room with no frills but the food is delicious and it draws quite a crowd. The nigiri sampler is a fan favorite. They have a quick take out turnaround and usually can snag a table last minute before closing any day of the week.

While in Seattle, we've been in search of cheese tonkatsu. Saw a picture of Kobe offering one, plus they had a variety of options of some of our favorites, including bento boxes, noodle dishes, and sushi. Each person got something different from another. We ordered the Kobe roll to share which was a good choice, with just the right kind of sauce. I got the chicken katsu bento box which had a variety of items, which I enjoyed.

I went here not too long ago, and the food was phenomenal!! The service was pretty decent and I absolutely loved the decorations around the restaurant. Small inconvenience there was a hair in my sushi (mistakes happen all the time) but they took care of it amazingly and got me a new one. Okay pricing and overall delicious! Tempura California Roll - $10.95

This has got to be one of the most disappointing experience I ever had. Knowing this place is a fusion place I was very excited about trying both Japanese and Koreans dishes. However, nothing stood out. Everything was just average. I had the curry katsu and fried chicken for my entrees. The curry was warm, mediocre taste at best, and the katsu wasn't cooked at the right amount of crispness hence it was a little hard to chew. I feel like they just heat up the curry and dump it to the plate because curry didn't look like it was freshly made. The chicken on the other side was just sad, I feel like eating plastic. The best part of skin was not there and the sauce just a regular sweet and sour sauce you can find everywhere. My girlfriend had the vegetable tempura and the soft tofu soup. The tempura feels like refried from previous night because the texture was very thick and the vegetables were onions potatoes and pumpkin. At least should have oyster mushroom or pepper... the tofu soup on the other end just feel like people threw tofu paste plus the salad that they served you. Overall, this place feels like they want to save cost. This was a very disappointing experience, if you want customer to come back, actually put in the effort in the quality of food. No comment on the service, it felt fine
