Kobe Bento Teriyaki

Hit and miss, but decent chicken teriyaki! We tried a variety of items: crab Rangoon, chicken teriyaki, and a chicken bento box. The crab Rangoon had an odd taste and was not very good. The bento box had a nice variety of items, but the edamame was also not very good. The chicken teriyaki itself was solid, the sauce was good as was the rice. The included salad was better than others from similar places, I liked the dressing. If you're hungry it will fill you up, but nothing particularly stood out.

This is one of my usual spots for lunch because they are reliable. I've never seen it very crowded and usually dine in because it is always so quiet. I have had many of their selections but the tofu fried rice is my favorite. It's not overly greasy and I love the way the tofu is lightly fried. The space is a basic and clean. It would be nice if they would lighten the place up, as it is a bit dark in there. The teriyaki is not the best I've had, but it is decent. The staff is small, but always friendly.

They opened on the hottest day in Seattle. Everyone in the kitchen and front desk worked really hard. The two wok dishes were good, not amazing but good. Reasonable price and lots of food

The ingredients are fresh and the food is delicious. I usually pick up. The staff seems nice. I like that they have some healthy selections.

I'm always happy to find a new teriyaki place close to me, and this place very solid. The first thing I want is good texture on the chicken and to be able to trust I won't get a sketchy piece. Kobe delivers big time. The spicy chicken was cooked perfectly and the spice level couldn't have been better. The food came out very quickly, the place is nice and clean. Give them a shot!

Always fast. Always fresh. Always delicious. Always abundant portions. Always friendly. Always ready to mix and match different combinations. It is one of the better teriyaki spots I've found in Seattle / Shoreline.Give it a try.

We've been coming here since they opened, many years ago and the food was always pretty good. Freshly cooked and while the menu varied and added a bunch of other Asian dishes that aren't strictly teriyaki, even those were still pretty good.But this last time was pretty average to below average food. The chicken teriyaki was really dry and the beef teriyaki was stringy and full of fat chunks. I love Asian food, all kinds, and I'm especially fond of Japanese food (or at least the Americanized versions of Japanese food we eat here). So I've had just about every kind of teriyaki under the sun, good, bad, amazing and "should I go to the emergency room". This was just bad, not inedible, but not worth stopping in again either. Count me disappointed. The menu had changed again, so I'm assuming new owners? So, anyway, I'm Off to look for a better teriyaki take out place again.Caveats:Your mileage may vary. We ordered late in the day, probably the last one's served that night.Maybe it was a single bad meal?

Really tasty vegan tofu teriyaki. It has a delicious garlic teriyaki sauce. Only thing that would make it better is if it came with a side of vegetables.

I had a good experience at this place. The atmosphere was pleasant, the environment was clean, and the staff was welcoming. I decided to try the hot and sour soup, and although it was different from what I initially expected (missing mushu and pork), I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of veggies and the absence of meat. The flavor was delightful, and the soup felt incredibly healthy. The chicken katsu and chicken teriyaki were also highlights of the meal, delivering good taste.

Get the bento box special. A great deal. Always good along with everything else on teriyaki menu
