Mmm, if you aren't buying baked goods at Kj's cakery bakery sweet shop, wyd? When I went looking for a bakery for specialty cupcakes, I was searching in general. When I saw a bakery named after my son, I was sold. Especially because the cupcakes were bought for his 2nd birthday. We ordered baby shark red velvet and vanilla cupcakes. If I used the word delicious to describe those vanilla cupcakes, it would be an insult. They were beyond that. The red velvet were good, I've had better, but they're still 4 star worthy. The talent really jumped out in the vanilla cupcakes though. All jokes aside, PLEASE eat at Kj's. It's literally the best in town. Check out the blog at www.instagram.com/DoubleForked

My grandson had a special request for his 5th birthday cake which was a rainbow cake. I made specific requests for his rainbow cake and KJ's came through not just accommodating my request but above & beyond. KJ's took great time to make the best cake ever that I've had in all of Washington state! My grandson was so happy and that's all that matters. Don't pass by on KJ's cause you'll truly be missing one of the best baked home cooked desserts! Will only order from KJ's from now on!!!! Thank you KJs for the most delicious cake and experience for my grandson!!!

My husband found this spot on Yelp and we went over to try it. I'm so glad we did! The place is clean and nice, all the treats are nicely labeled. The lady helping us was very thorough and walked us through all the different types sweets. We ended buying a little of everything and I enjoyed them all, I love cotton candy and they have this pink vanilla flavor that hit the spot. They have cookies, popcorn, macaroon ice cream, also some alcohol infused treats! The attention to detail is amazing, I can tell everything is made with care and love. They also customize in making cakes, I may have to have them make me one in the near future. They are also very safe, they have a sanitizing station and they take precautions which I appreciate. Very fun decorations on the inside of the store as well. I'll definitely come back. Anyone that has a sweet tooth should give them a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

The good points:Beautiful presentation, great packaging The bad:The cupcakes were previously frozen. When thawed, they're very very dry The frosting is so sweet and not buttercream. More like cheap store frosting. I understand its Christmas eve, but don't serve stale, frozen cupcakes , people that cost 4 to 6$ each.Other than looking great. They tasted terrible.

I can't wait to try our KJ's Cakery! I was first made aware of this shop while watching "BLIPPI" with my son. The shopLooks awesome and the treats look and sound delicious. The shops is decorated beautifully and just right to engage and excite young minds and taste buds. Wish i could order treats and have them sent down to me in California! Oh friends. This place is so dangerous. Scrolling through cupcake shops, I wasn't really sure if I wanted anything. But this place popped up, looked new, and they had a pretty cool menu. But once I saw the vanilla Oreo cupcake? Sold! Most places only have chocolate Oreo cupcakes, and I don't love chocolate cupcakes in general. The cupcakes weren't dry, frosting was generous, and at $3 a cupcake I felt like I was getting a fairly good deal. Also tried the red velvet cupcake and it was just as good! I'll definitely add this shop to my list of local businesses to support!

Going into KJ's Cakery Bakery Sweet Shop, it was difficult getting into the establishment, as parking was hard to find. Going around walking in the store it left me with a sense of wanting more, as the cupcakes we're small for the prices that they were being sold for: this also extended to the cookies as well being smaller for the amount being charged for them. I may be sounding picky, however I want more bang for my buck, if I'm going to be spending on upwards of $5 on a cupcake, $3.50 for a single cookie, or $5 for two macrons they have to wow me, and that was not the case. The vegan options were only in the cupcakes, none in the cookies, which being someone's who cannot process lactose made me rather disappointed as my selection was only two cupcakes which I wasn't in the mood for truth be told. I wanted to like this place however with the limited selection, variety, and the higher prices for minimal value, made me walking out the bakery empty handed. Perhaps this place can change for the future, at least I very much hope so.

My boyfriend was having a rough day and I wanted to send him some cookies to brighten up his day. KJ's Bakery has delivery through DoorDash and UberEats, so I made my order through UberEats. There is no delivery fee but a small service fee and tax on top of the total.The sammies looked to be really big for sandwich cookies and I was impressed by the variety of flavors they had. I ordered near closing time so there weren't many choices left, but I ended up ordering the following the sandwich cookie box that lets you choose 4 flavors. I chose the following: White Chocolate Chunk Macadamia Cookie Sammie with Vanilla Bean Buttercream, S'mores Sammie, Confetti Sugar Sammie with Vanilla Buttercream, Salted Caramel Chocolate Chunk Sammie. They were $5 each. I also asked the bakery to include a note if it were able to and was super happy that they did!The packaging looked great and my boyfriend enjoyed the cookies! Shoutout to my UberEats driver for delivering so quickly too!

Don't go looking for this bakery. It's not there. I spent my lunch hour down there because I wanted to try and buy cupcakes or cookies for my employees. However, I could not find the bakery and eventually asked at another business and was told she is no longer physically there, and only does online orders. Would've been nice to know before I wasted my lunch hour. She might make tasty items, I wouldn't know, and because of her lack of consideration for my time I will never try to order from her. Before I headed to her bakery, I did try to call and did not get an answer, just a voice message saying she couldn't come to the phone.

Received a tasting box, for wedding planning, it was the best cake we've tasted so far! Delicious!!! The customer service was friendly too. It came with a complimentary cake flavored cotton candy (homemade) that was yummy!!
