Always enjoy the ambiance at Kitanda. Relaxed cafe with yummy açaí options. I've had one of the açaí smoothies at the u district location before which is super yummy. This location is large with outside bench seating and inside table seating with grocery items available to purchase as well. Service is friendly and prompt. We ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich which are small but delightfully delicious as the kitanda bread is light and tasty. The hot dog we also ordered was okay but mainly all roll and very small sausage lol so probably would skip that next time. They were out of mocha so my man decided on a hot americano and I ordered an iced chai. Chai wasn't the best as it was mainly milk and not much chai... Overall still a relaxed breakfast before our morning hike. At this location they also give you a tasty little wafer chocolate for free with your drink and food :)

I fell in love with Kitanda from the very first time. I'm a huge fan of their coffee here. It's bold but smooth. This location can get busy but they do a great job of moving it along pretty fast and the wait is never too long. There is plenty of sitting in the small shop if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee and food. The açaí bowls remain a fave but it's hard to not the get bread with the Dulce de leite. You can also do some shopping for some of your favorites from Brazil.

We were introduced to Kitanda by our Brazilian friend and we have loved their items we have tried. I like to have them as a snack in the evening. We usually get the Chicken cone, this time I tried the Ham & Cheese roll. I love the Chicken cone. We have also in the past taken home their frozen bread rolls and baked it when we wanted them. It's a good item to have in the freezer.

Was walking by in the AM after dropping my car off down the street and saw reviews on their breakfast sandwiches that intrigued me. It's a cute shop with lots of Brazilian grocery items, coffee and snacks. My review is solely on the egg sandwich, which I went with the sausage egg sandwich. It was OK, not sure what I expected exactly. Little piece of sausage and little egg with mozzarella. If was just over $5 with tax but it felt underwhelming overall.

Such a great spot for acai bowls! My favorite is the energy blast bowl. It's full of flavor all the way through !You also must try the Romeo and Juliet , it's delicious bread with guava paste and cheese, it's a perfect sweet and savory combo. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. If you are at the Kirkland location, they have a small grocery area with Brazilian meats and snacks.

One of my favorite acai bowl places/brazillian cafes. I found out this place was in Kirkland awhile back and am so excited to share my thoughts about it. They have delicious bakery items and not to mention their little market also in the store. You can bring home their frozen bakery items so that you can make them at home! I recommend getting their Brazillian Bread as it's chewy and stuffed with cheese. Their acai bowl (energy blast) is my top favorite, it's so delicious and filled with honey and peanut butter. The service is fast and easy, I usually order online to avoid the lines they have but usually it goes by pretty quickly on the weekends. The atmosphere is clear and bright, it is quite a bit dirty and they should definitely look into renovation, however it's still a sturdy cafe. I don't recommend doing any work here with your laptop because it gets very busy, it's loud, and more of a lounge.

This particular location is a little beat up on the outside but I went for the Brazilian bread with Nutella inside. Holy crap get this! It's sweet, salty, soft and fabulous!

I often come here to buy Brazilian products such as food (cheese, smoked meats, cookies, flours, candy, soda). Most of the time I find things that I am looking for but we never now for sure when a specific product will be available. The snack options are good. However I noticed that chicken cones and lives for example got smaller which is a bummer. Customer service is pretty good. Parking lot is small and I avoid coming here with my big truck. I also avoid coming during rush hour and breakfast time (specially during weekends). It is way too busy and with the lack of staff we might end up waiting for a long time.

Visited while waiting for my car to be serviced nearby. It's a rather large store with so many different breads and buns. The middle of the store contains Brazilian imported goods and the back of the store has bulk buns to take home. I had the Kitanda bread and the coconut bun. Unsure what the cheese was in the Kitanda bread, but it was gooey without being too oily. The coconut bun was a bit heavier and sweeter with lots of coconut flakes in between the layers. Will be back to try more!
