Don't bother- I came in after reading the reviews and I was going to be in Ballard for an errand. There is a zero wait because people leave after being ignored. The service was horrible- you are not greeted...a woman who works there just asked me "are you going to dine in" but before she even just asked me that- she just stared at me a few times passing me unwelcoming looks. She was friendly to only certain people-While I was eating these 2 ladies came in they stood there for like 5 minutes the waitress- host person looked at them...never greeted them-never said a thing and the two ladies eventually walked out...looking irritated. All my food was COLD...and it was not that busy-like at all. I visited in the middle of the day on a weekday. Food took forever to get out-but I will assure you my bill came out swiftly- my sandwich was supposed to come with Chips ZERO- I think soup was ladled out first then sat there until my sandwich was done. The tomato soup also had a weird curry taste (I love curry- but it was unexpected and cold- just plain gross like they did not wash out the put and it had a leftover taste). Subpar food and horrible service. Don't bother-

Great grilled cheese sandwich. Wish they had beer on tap but that didn't harm the vibe. Great service.

Not as dog friendly as it appears .. ate outside , my 3 month old puppy was barking cause he wanted my food . Was training him not to bark and was told the dog can not bark outside .. after food was served so I had to leave my food and I left without argument but wasted my 50$ worth of food. .. did I mention 3 month old puppy ... food wasn't that good anyways Guys a Ass at the bar .. girl was sweet ...

Popped in for a latte on a Saturday afternoon. They have a ton of beer options, seating, and the service was great! They have a bare bones coffee menu and carry nondairy options- oat, almond and soy. I had an iced vanilla oat milk latte that was delicious. A fun and funky little place and I'm looking forward to going back and grabbing a drink!

This is a small location, but worth the wait. I had the chicken arugula and it was very good. I felt full for hours. There was a little glitch for the table orders and the staff made it right immediately and with a smile. One person in my party wanted a special modification for their order and it was handled the same way. I don't drink, but the available choices for beer were impressive. I will definitely being going back for a yummy salad or sandwich.

This spot is lit!!! I absolutely love it. Family friendly and dog friendly. Very small space but service is quick and efficient. I love the sandwich selection and the jambalaya and fantastic. I always choose to sub chips with jambalaya. It's a small up-charge but worth it. I still want to try the full Monty breakfast sandwich so on my next run I will! So far I've tried the kiss creation, thanksgiving hangover, California melt, and tuna melt. My favorite is the thanksgiving hangover and the California melt. The kiss creation had too much arugula in it and the tuna melt tasted too much like onions. Everything in the Thanksgiving hangover was the perfect ratio and complimented each other well. The California melt was grilled nicely on the outside. Soo good. They have beer to choose from as well as mimosas! They have a kissmosa which is their version of a mimosa with mixed juices like pineapple and I believe cranberry and some other flavors. We always choose the kissmosa over the regular one!

I'm still thinking about my Thanksgiving Hangover sandwich. It was such a perfect combination in between two slices of sourdough and it's huge! I loved it. The arugula surprisingly went really well with in. I wish the I was given a small bag chips than on the dish itself but I liked the variety they have.Service was good. Simple and friendly. The place itself seems like a very local joint, very well loved and settled in. I really enjoyed it and will be coming back.

What can I say to express how much I love Kiss Cafe? It's like a good friend, a fixture of humanity in a quickly changing city, providing real comfort food and just the absolute best staff and patrons. Just approaching Kiss along the sidewalk, I can smell the waft of satisfaction I'm about to enjoy. Inside, there's a wide variety of single beers for sale, usually one or two baked goods (like cookies), and a TV or two showing comfort romcoms and sitcoms on mute (like Schitts Creek). The people behind the counter and in the kitchen are just wonderful. As far as food, my faves are the hot pressed tuna melt, big cheese, the caprese, jambalaya, and affogoto.I bike or drive from where I live in Fremont just for this experience. Street parking is generally in the neighborhood to the north across Market St (like along 28th Ave or 56th St). I'd say it's intermittent dog-friendly: if your dog behaves, no one would say anything.Kiss, you're amazing.

Kiss Cafe feels like "Cheers" except with kids and dogs! They made us feel at home, and our whole party loved everything we ordered. Highlights: BLT with avocado, three egg scrambles, and that pretzel! We'll be back and thanks for making our youth soccer team queens for a day!
