I had the wonderful experience of doing my baby shower here. I was amazed with how flawless it looked and how amazingly smooth it went. The women that helped me whet out of their way and did way more then asked for to make this a wonderful experience. All my girlfriends were shocked about the venue and everything that accompanied it. I would definitely rent here again. Overall experience was beyond my expectations.

$500 deposit, simply put, is non-refundable - don't be fooled by their claim otherwise. They have absolutely no good-faith in returning the $500 deposit. We (10+ people) spent 2+ hours on stacking tables and chairs, cleaning the floor, wiping down counters, taking out the garbage, etc .. basically the whole 9 yards as we were told.We get an email back (from Sandy) saying their cleaning lady had to spent 5 hours cleaning !! Initially we were told not to clean anything and pay their cleaning lady $60/hours for 2hour cleaning (which should be enough for the type of event we were hosting), however in good faith we did it ourselves but only to have our deposit not returned (btw 5hours x $60/hour = $300, but they refused to return back the remaining $200 too).About the venue: We arrived to a filthy kitchen, dirty counter tops, the only bathroom had its door broken (many of our guests walked onto each other using the bathroom), overall room lighting is dim (we had to install additional lights for the event), registration process is old-fashioned (one has to mail the check), etcIf you have no other choice kindly take before and after pictures and be ready to take them to a small-claims court if you care about your deposit. There are few other small scale venues to rent around Kirkland, so kindly do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Simply put, the $200 "deposit" should have been included in the price if they didn't in good faith intend to return the money. My group had an event and spent the last 30 minutes of our event re-stacking chairs, wiping down counters, spot cleaning the floor, etc. only to be told that we didn't do a proper job cleaning and re-stacking the chairs. It's important to note that we were specifically told we didn't need to mop the floor and that we returned the tables and chairs just as we found them. Our group cannot afford the extra $200 and unless you can, I recommend you look elsewhere.
