Excellent service. We were greeted with a friendly wecoming smile and offered seating in the newly renovated bar. It was a good choice.I had the "odessey" multi course meat selection. Every dish was exvellent.The cocktails were eell balanced.The filet we got was delicipus and perfectly cooked.I also got a dozen oysters, the oyster were beautfully shucked served with a minionette.I recommend this place - 5 star service and food.

I went to dinner at Kinzie Chophouse and everything I had was great! I was with a large group and we were seated in their private room which was really. To drink I had the Charred Pineapple Margarita. It tasted very fresh and had a hint of spice and smoke. Our waiter recommended the drink and it was a great choice. For starters I had a couple East Coast Oysters. They were very flavorful.I don't eat alot of red meat, so I never get steak at steakhouses. For my entree I got the Grilled Greek Salad and the "South Vide" Octopus on the Grill. Both were fantastic! This was my first grilled Greek salad before so I didn't really know what to expect, but it was great. Since the tomatoes were grilled the feta almost melted into the salad. The octopus was grilled to perfection and served over flavorful black eyed peas. This is a fabulous women-owned steakhouse and I can't wait to go back!

We had dinner here on a Friday night to celebrate me and my husband's birthdays. It was easy to get in, not busy at all. The staff was great and attentive. The steak itself was great, I had a filet and my husband had a ribeye. Be aware that the plate is literally just a steak sitting in the middle of it. No presentation. Nothing else. You order the sides you want separately. Those portions are generous and heavy.

We had a work trip in Chicago and we planned our group dinner here. The service was top notch, very attentive and did a great job explaining the menu. They brought out this appetizer (1st photo) for the table and it was so good. I ordered oysters and a filet medallion steak rare plus. Cooked perfect. Sides are shareable so we ordered mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. It was the perfect portions! Drinks were also superb and excellent prices for the food. Highly recommend adding this to your list.

Had one of the best sandwiches ever last week. This steak sandwich was to die for on the softest garlic bread, seasoned so perfectly I can't believe this was my first time here after all these years! Such a gem if you haven't been, and the CRW lunch deal here was amazing will definitely be stopping by again for the $10 martini's during happy hour

I made a reservation using OpenTable for our anniversary and the day of, I changed the time. When we arrived, the hostess advised that we were late and I informed her NO, we are not, I changed the time. ( I had proof of the original time and my modification, which I was ready and prepared to show), but the hostess said, " it's fine, we have a table for you, right this way." Apparently, it was NOT fine if you took it upon yourself to let me know I was late, which in fact I was NOT. I still had to contact open table because the hostess did not check us in and I didn't get my points and OpenTable sent me an email saying I missed my reservation, which I didn't.We almost left and said forget this place, it doesn't take much for me to leave an establishment. People want to get fake attitudes when I'm about to spend MY money, I don't need that kind of hostility.Our server, Rafael, more than made up for the hostess. Our steaks were great, our drinks were strong and our complimentary dessert was perfect.My husband wants to come back and I'm on the fence about returning. I told him customer service and great food go hand in hand he did not care about the customer service aspect and really liked the food.

I was excited to finally be able to try this place out. We came here for a late lunch so it wasn't super crowded. Just a few tables were occupied. The restaurant itself is very old school and we loved it. We started with some soup and it was delicious. I had the french onion and my husband had the lobster bisque. We then both ordered a ribeye medium with a few sides. My ribeye was more of a medium "plus" when it came out. Not as pink as I would have liked it. The waitress offered to take it back, but I knew that by the time it came I would be full and not enjoy it, so I ate it as is. It was still very flavorful and delicious. The potatoes we ordered were whipped with cheese and bacon, the mac and cheese with bacon, and the panko breaded mushrooms with a gorngonzola sauce. The mac and cheese was yummy. I did not care for the mushrooms as they had blue cheese inside the breading as well as the sauce. I could not eat the mushrooms. Our waitress was very friendly. One thing that she did that I didn't like was asked my husband if he was ok with the shrimp and jalapeno topper for his soup. He said sure. The way she questioned it, make it seem like it was included, however, it was an extra $5. It does say that on the menu but I feel like it should be mentioned when asking, or not asked in a way that insinuated that that this was included. Either way, the atmosphere was cozy, the food was pretty delicious, and the staff was friendly. I can confidently say that we will be back :)
